I'm really loving this series, it has a different feel than other books by Jill Sanders.
The mystery element of this book works perfectly with the romance to make an amazing book

Five friends, the Wildflowers, have come back together after the loss of Elle’s grandfather to re-open the camp where they first met. I love these friendships. They are real, they are not perfect, and they are forever. These amazing ladies call each other out, stand up for each, and protect each other all while smiling, laughing, crying, and loving. While they are friends, it is true that they are really sisters.

Liam…sigh, he is so sexy and sweet. The reason for him coming to the camp is not necessary with the best intentions but it quickly becomes clear that he cares for Elle and realizes that she could not be the one with the answers he is looking for. I really enjoyed these two coming together. They make sense, they fulfill each other, and they trust each other.
Summer Heat is a quick and easy book with characters that are relatable and fun. I’d recommend Jill Sanders to anyone who enjoys sweet and sexy mixed in with fun.

Elle and Liam are quite a pair. This book has humor, and romance. The first portion of the book dragged a bit as the author attempted to catch readers up from the first book in the series. A good, light beach read.

I have read a lot of books by this author. I have loved pretty much every one. This one did not disappoint.

This is the second book in a series called "Wildflowers." I have not read the first novel yet, but I am going to go back and read it right now!

This story is about a group of friends that have inherited a camp from Elle's grandmother. This book is sweet and funny. It also has a bit of mystery and drama thrown in. I would recommend it highly.

4.5/5 stars.

I'm really loving this series, it has a different vibe to other books by Jill Sanders. I also liked how this book was initially set at the same time as Summer Nights, but then steps forward towards the end, bringing both stories up to date.

Elle and the other Wildflowers are keeping a close eye on the three brothers they have employed at the camp. There's something not sitting right about them. Why are they sneaking around the camp, and what are they looking for? Elle is "assigned" to Liam, the younger of the three. One problem is that she is attracted to him. Will Liam use this to his advantage?

The mystery element of book one follows through to this book, and we do learn some information, but not everything, but this isn't the main story, but just a thread weaving through.

Great book.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. Thank you NetGalley.

So I need to start this off by admitting that I didn't know you needed to read this series in order. This is book two in the series, so my review is going to be off-kilter based on that. You NEED TO READ BOOK ONE !!

Without knowing that, I did read this book. I obviously was slightly confused and missing some key elements, but I know that the book was written well. The main characters are exciting and relatable. And the chemistry was steamy!!

This is a second book from Wildflowers and Elle falls for the youngest of Costas brothers Liam. The story is parallel to the first one but is great because there are not a lot of repetitive and I enjoyed reading this story much more than the first. Both Elle and Liam are both well developed and interesting and make a cute couple. Their story is simple, romantic and interesting. Waiting for the next one and to see how will it end.
I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for NetGalley

This is the second book in the Wildflower series and unlike other romance novels, this one needs to have been read in order. There is an arc to this story that will play out over the three books. So if you want to read this series, start with book one for sure.

This is the continuation of the five women who open a camp/resort for adults, the Costa brothers and the search for their father; and the love stories along the way. This book is Liam and Elle - and it is just as good as book one if not better because finally more hints of the story are coming out. Additionally, Elle is a great character. I love the women in these stories and how their backgrounds are weaved in throughout.

Looking forward to the final book and the story resolution.

I read this without actually read the first one but I didn't have issues! I loved the characters and the chemistry that they have together! The mystery of where their father is really pulled me in too. I can't wait to read the first one and then will be not so patiently waiting for the next one in the series.

Reading this I did not realize it was the second in a series. Which has me quite psyched to read book one. I really enjoyed this story. Loved Liam and Ellie and the other Wildflower sisters. Love how the story tied in some of the camp characters. There is romance and secrets and some trouble brewing but all those mix for a great story line and kept me hooked.

Thank you in advance to the author and publisher for an advanced copy in exchange for my honest review.

Not quite sure what the problem was but I just couldn't connect with the characters or setting. The story moved way too slow to hold my interest and I had a hard time finishing the book. I am not much on romance books but had read this author in the past an enjoyed that book as it had more 'meat on the bone'. If you want a romance with a light twist that you can easily put down and pick up later -then this book is for you.
I received this book as a complimentary copy for an unbiased review. The opinions expressed are my own.

This is another light hearted summer read which just did not do it for me. I really enjoy the author but this contemporary romance seems to be too blah. A group of friends inherit a summer camp which they work on restoring on a budget. Having a hard time hiring help they are relieved when a group of brothers agree to work for nothing. Something to be suspicious about? Yes but are they desperate or is the extreme good looks of the guys? or a combination thereof?
Anyhow there are some interesting twists and turns as the story works it way as well as the love story that comes together with a lot of hooks for the stories to come. Overall I skimmed through the story and found some cute moments but otherwise this one is not for me.

Ruthie – ☆☆☆☆
This is the second book in the series and I definitely was happy that I had read book one first – but you could read them the other way around too!

Running in parallel with Summer Nights, but concentrating on the original Wildflower, Elle, I loved how I knew the underlying plot, but got to see another side of the story. Given it was a few months ago that I read the first book, I had enough in my mind to quickly catch up, but then could relax as I got to remember events but see them from a different viewpoint. We also get more of the mystery of the di Costa brothers' father, Leo, but not everything. I am excited to see who gets their story next and how we find out more of just what is going on.

Elle inherited all her much loved grandfather's assets, but the camp is for all the Wildflowers to run and enjoy together. The band of friends from summer camp are very close, but also very different. Even though they have kept in touch, they are also quite reserved about their lives, so Elle keeps her feelings for Liam to herself, well as much as she can. And as we know, Zoe is doing the same about Dylan – so I am guessing future installments will reveal further dalliances too! There are hints after all.

I just loved the concept of the tree house with the hidden ladder, and it sounded very well appointed, even in its most basic state. Add in the fact that they used it as a place to 'meet,' and it is no surprise that both Liam and Elle held great affection for it too. It was great fun that they kept finding chances to meet up and advance their relationship, and it was refreshing that Elle did not feel intimidated by Ryan's brashness.

I definitely recommend this series, as it has love, family, humour, mystery, and a bit of drama. Escapism at its finest!

The second Wildflowers book belongs to Elle and Liam. We get to see the camp reopening from Elle’s perspective and the Costa brothers’ hunt for their father from Liam’s.

Elle is a likeable, engaging character. She’s a survivor of terrible childhood trauma and she’s the leader among the Wildflowers. Liam is more enigmatic. It is disappointing that all we really get as a description for Liam is a comparison to Jason Momoa (I had to google the name) and I kept wanting to know more about his art and woodworking talents. Much of the connection between these two feels like romance novel paint by numbers and I didn’t feel terribly invested in their relationship.

This second book takes place at almost the exact same time as the first. As a reader, this is pretty disappointing. We get a slightly different perspective on the events of the first book, but the few new revelations come at the very end of a long book. And while the first book took time to properly introduce readers to the characters and their camp, this second book only skims the surface. I feel like I’ve finished a disappointing re-read of a book I really enjoyed the first time.

So far, there really isn’t enough substance or suspense around Leo Costa’s disappearance to keep my attention and I don’t think I can face another three books recounting the same events to find out. I still love the idea of the Wildflowers sisterhood and I love the camp the women are rebuilding together. But this book is lacking the humour and warmth of the first book and I’m not sure I’m invested enough in the series story arc to continue with the third book.

This one had so much potential, but I ended up not being able to connect with the characters. I'll still continue to read the series, but this one fell short for me.

I loved the story of the Wildflower sisters, but the Leo Costa storyline fell short for me. It wasn't very suspenseful and didn't hold my attention like I hoped it would. The friends are what made this book for me and I look forward to reading about their HEAs.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for my gifted copy in exchange for an honest review.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I have been lucky enough to get an ARC of the second book in the Wildflowers saga. If you read the review of the previous book, you may know I was positive about reading the next ones. Time has put the saga under another light and I wasn’t so sure about reading them outside of a platform like NetGalley. I didn’t properly acknowledge the bad feeling I had after finishing Summer Nights. A bad feeling that has been confirmed with the second book.

We go back to the camp and in time to fully meet Elle, the soul of the project to build a camp for adults. We get to read from her perspective the first days of the life in the camp. We also get to know better Liam, the youngest of the three insanely hot brothers who are desperately seeking their father. Liam’s mission is to get close to Elle to reveal any kind of participation by her in their father and money disappearance. It doesn’t look like the perfect setting for a blooming love, but I guess closeness makes things cozier…

The story of this book has been utterly disappointing. Or, better said, the lack of an original story is the biggest issue that hugely hindreds the enjoyment of it. Almost three quarters of the book is just to tell us again what happened in Zoey’s and Dylan’s book, but from the point of view of Elle and Liam. A point of view that doesn’t bring anything new to it; so it felt useless and extremely boring. Was it so hard to resume the story where the previous book left it? The most interesting part of that book was the mystery surrounding Leo Costa’s disappearance. A mystery that wasn’t resolved and was left in a rather interesting point. So it has been a huge letdown when most of the book is about retelling the same and just throwing a couple of new facts at the end of the story. Sorry, but it is lazy writing.

About the main couple, I feel like performing a copy and paste of my opinions about Zoey and Dylan. Nothing really bad or really good to make them special. They are so extremely OK that it is kind of boring. This time I can’t even mention the banter, because there is none. Is their romance bad? Not really. It just lacks any kind of spice to make it a tiny bit interesting. It doesn’t help that we were hinted about the relationship in the previous book, so there wasn’t anything surprising about it. Overall, the dynamics between Liam and Elle are kind of weird and it is pretty hard to forge any kind of connection with them, which enhances the feeling of being in front of a boring book.

I also would repeat what I said in the review of the first book: what is the deal with the ages of the characters? So ridiculously young, but then they are handled as if they had tons of life experiences behind them. I still have no idea why the author picked such young individuals if later they don’t behave like their age. Yes, it could happen that there were one or two characters that are way more mature for their own age, but it is a norm for everyone in this saga. It is annoying and utterly unbelievable.

I must admit that I’m not feeling like reading the next book. It looks like it will be the one for Hannah and Owen and the chances of having another retelling are way too high for my comfort. I would love to be wrong though, because I still want to know what is really happening with the missing father.

Received an ARC from NetGalley for an honest review.

Okay, so I get that this is part of the series, but the fact that we don't get closure on anything other than Liam and Elle's relationship was a little frustrating. The secrecy and then the truth coming out, but not really was less than ideal and there were so many moving parts that it was hard to keep track. I didn't read the first Wildflowers book, but I didn't have a problem diving into the story. It was how Sanders failed to wrap it up that bothered me.

Thank you NetGalley for an early review copy of Summer Heat. This is the second installment in the Wildflowers series.

It does build on the first in the series, so would be confusing to read as a stand alone. However, I felt that, especially in the beginning, it was very repetitive to the first book which made it a lot harder for me to get in to. I would've preferred to see Elle and Liam again maybe the following season or at a later time, the overlapping and the similarities in the plot was not my favorite.

However, I did like the actual relationship between Elle and Liam, especially compared to Dylan and Zoey. There was less deceit and seemed like more true, genuine feelings between them. The chemistry definitely does not disappoint!

There will be at least one more book in this series too, so we still don't get the final conclusions and there are some loose ends left open.

Summer Heat by Jill Sanders is the 2nd book in the Wildflowers series, five girls meet at summer camp, and become lifelong friends. The girls are now adults and have investigated in redoing the camp to turn it into an adult sexy retreat. Three brothers have come to the camp, to get a job and to find their father. In this book Elle Saunders and Liam Costa, the youngest brother fall for each other. Now there is only one brother left, and two women, can't wait to find out what happens. One of my favorite part of this book is the tree house, how cool it that. I want one. I found this book to be a quick read and a lot of fun. I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series. I highly recommend this book.

I reviewed a digital arc provided by NetGalley and the publisher. Thank you.
