I received a copy of this book from Netgallery in exchange for an honest review. I really enjoy this book. Cade and Haley met unexpectedly and there relationship was not all that great at the beginning but they got to know each other their relationship progressed. I enjoyed them together, their banter was very entertaining. Haley was basically off limits to Cade since she was Tucks baby sister but no matter how hard they tried to stay away from each other, they couldn’t. Love always wins! I give this book 4 awesome stars

If you can get over the over-the-top cheese factor present in this book and let yourself enjoy the ride, this is a really fun read! I was a little hesitant after reading the first two chapters, but once I allowed myself suspend my disbelief, I found that this to be an enjoyable read. After transferring to a new college, Haley decides to stay with her brother, Tuck, and his hunky, tattooed roommate, Cade.
One of my favorite aspects of this book was the food. Cade is a sous chef, and a darn good one at that. So many passages made me hungry! I also really liked how sweet this story was. I'm so used to New Adult being overly angsty, so this was a nice change. One thing I didn't like was the love triangle in the beginning with Adam, but thankfully it doesn't last too long.
I will definitely look up more of Rae Kennedy's work in the future!

Making the choice between the guy who’s too perfect and the guy who is a guaranteed heartbreak seems like a no-brainer but things are rarely that simple. This book had some unexpected twists which made the story more than the standard romance. I love the interplay between Haley and Cade, especially with Tuck along as an oblivious third wheel. There was a lot of heart and genuine emotion to go with the steamy sex. Even though I wanted to shake Haley sometimes, it was still a satisfying read.

Okay, wow! This is the read I’ve been craving for a while now. I haven’t read or enjoyed a NA romance this much in quite some time. In fact I’m not sure I’ve ever given one a 5 star rating before, I’d have to dig through the archives to find it if I did, for sure. I don’t know if it was just the right book at the right time (mood reader here ) but I loved everything about it. The writing, the plot, the pacing, CADE! *drools* It was sweet and sexy in all the right places and in all the right ways. I cannot fault a single thing!

One of the things I loved most (next to CADE ofc) was that there was just the right amount of drama to keep you hooked and turning those pages, not wanting to put it down. I often find that these types of reads are on the verge of being completely unrealistic or unbelievable, but not this one. It wasn’t at all over the top and I know that because I didn’t once roll my eyes!! (which I have a serious problem with sometimes lol).

Yeah there were a few common tropes and the odd cliche here and there but it all just worked. It’s books like this that are the reason we love those tropes in the first place. A great example of how to do these things well imo.

I really don’t want to go into anything specific about the plot, read the synopsis and if it’s a genre you enjoy then definitely read it! You can not possibly be disappointed! I can’t think of a single thing to say against it, I just absolutely loved it.

I voluntarily received a copy of this for an honest review!

I instantly loved Cade, I know he came off as a player...but not to me. His demeanor and everything just spoke to me. Tuck seems a little to self absorbed. But I would love to read his story. Haley has lived and I mean truly lived until now. This book brings her into the world, shows her what she missing and helps her realize the future she could have.

I think the brother/sister relationship that was hunting at being strong lacked in this book. But I think the friendship between the guys did too and that why I say that Tuck was self absorbed.

I love everything Cade and Haley!

Thanks to NetGalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Haley transfers colleges and moves in with her brother and his roommate, Cade. Cade is a definite bad boy and self-proclaimed ladies man. Haley is an innocent as they come. Haley begins to date Adam, who from the outside appears to be a great guy, but is not and Cade does his best to point this out. The sparks definitely fly between the two and before you know it, they can’t stay away from each other. As the relationship between Haley and Cade develops, they deal with ups, downs, truths and raw emotions, I really enjoyed this book and can’t wait for book two in the series Haley’s best friend, Court, Fantastic lead characters and really fun secondary characters. Such a great book!

DNF. I'm usually never to turned off by a book but I just couldn't finish this one. It was boring and a low for me and I didn't like the characters.

Thank you Netgalley, the author and publisher for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This book felt like I was reading published fanfiction of Walking Disaster. I couldn't even get past the first couple of chapters. It was incredibly derivative and did not hook me at all.

I truly enjoyed this book. I liked the story line a lot however there was a major piece missing for me. I wish it would have been explained how Court and Cade had met before. This left me with an uneasy feeling about the two of them. It made me feel like they were keeping a secret from Haley.

A good debut book by Rae Kennedy! The cover is cool too.

Haley moved in with her brother and his roommate for her last years of College.
Thinking right away that the roommate is hot, and an asshole, they get friendly in the kitchen while cooking.

Knowing that Haley is off limits, Cade has to reign in his want for her, because he promised her brother Tuck, he’d not mess with Haley.

As things go and heat up ,emotions are raw and after a few twists and turns there is a HEA ending.

This was a good book and I can’t wait for book two with Courts’ story.

I received this ebook copy from the publisher and NetGalley for an honest review.

I'm a sucker for a good cover and this one was so aesthetically pleasing I requested it immediately and I'm pleased to say this was just the perfect book to read during traveling. It kept me company and I didn't even realize when it was over, I wanted more!

Haley meets Cade, her brother's roommate and even though the logistics were kind of a mess, the rest is history. Haley's a college student who moves in with her brother Tuck even though he is almost exclusively used as a cockblocker who only appears in just the right time. Cade is the typical hero who kicks out of his bedroom random girls without a second thought. There's a lot of cooking and a lot of lounging around in front of the TV as these two come together.

Familiar tropes with familiar characters, it could have surprise me as a reader and kept those two apart in the end but ultimately it was a fun, fast book that I really enjoyed!

This book was a pleasant surprise. I was in the mood for some smut, and this book delivered. I read it in one sitting and the characters had me captivated from the beginning. This is a roommates to lovers, slow burn erotica.
The author writes sex scenes extremely well, and while there were a decent amount of them, I loved every single one.
Haley moves in with her brother Tuck to complete college and ends up sparking a romance with is roommate Cade. Cade is an absolute dream boat, so sexy, and behind his muscle is a sweet, caring guy. I love that the author gave this character depth, with dreams and ambition.
I feel like some of the characters thrown in to the book either needed to have more of a story line or should've been left out. I understand having Tuck in there, but we know so little about him and even though things are going on in his life, we never get a deeper understanding of what's going on.
Adam was a nice distraction, but again, could've used more.
All in all this was really good and I loved it so much!

Quick, smutty read. Easy to predict what’s going to happen but then again all romance novels are. Good book for the beach!

Although this book had potential, the writing had a rushed feel to it, with too much telling instead of showing. I may try another book by this author to see if the writing improves with practice, as the overall plot was good, but the execution could have been better.

In a disappointing first half of the book, I made the decision that this just wouldn’t be the novel for me. Riddled with stereotypes of sexism and cliches, I just couldn’t find myself getting into the story.

I thank netgalley and the publisher for receiving a free arc in exchange for a review.

The back of the book suggests that there may be a bit of a love triangle in this book but I don't feel that the story portrayed that. I loved the story line, I love the whole brothers best friend vibe. I felt the story was well written but was a little rushed in places at the end. Loved the chemistry between Cade and Haley. He gives off the whole bad boy vibe but when he's around Haley he's a different person. Lots of passion and emotions throughout the book to keep you gripped. After reading the first chapter of the next book I'm looking forward to its release

I loved this and devoured it in one sitting, it’s such a great read. I adored the relationship between Haley and Cade, it’s such a fun read full of emotion and a great little twist. Sexy and steamy, but with great characters and story, not a guilty pleasure at all, just a pleasure to read.

Woah. Another new author for me and I LOVED it!
I literally could not put it down. I read it in one sitting. Roommates to lovers is one of my all time favorite tropes! And I'm sooo glad I read this! The chemistry between Haley and Cade is amazing and sweet.
This was such a great debut from this author and I’m excited to see what she writes next~
I'll admit it was predictable at times, but still a solid read. I recommend it!

Tuck was Haley’s big brother and introduced her to his roommate Cade. Haley was moving in with them. Cade was the sexiest man haley had ever seen in real life. But he is a manwhore. She was to live with Tuck for the next two years and probably Cade. Haley had been going to a different college earning her bachelor's degree but decided to transfer to Tuck’s alma mater which made Tuck happy. He was the main reason she decided on it. She’d missed Tuck when he moved out at eighteen- eight years ago. Haley was in her underwear and a tank top and went into the kitchen to look for something to eat and was looking in the frig when Cade came out . She decided not to make a big thing out of it, she showed more in her bathing suit as she’d be living there. When Cade shook Haley's hand a shiver ran up her arm. The second week of class Haley met him. He sat next to her just after the professor started his lecture. He introduced himself as Adam. He asked her if she’d like to go for coffee and haley said yes. He gave her a ride home and asked her for her number and she gave it to him. Haley learns cade is a chef when she was making some fettuccine alfredo. Adam soon asked haley to be his girlfriend and she was happy. Cade is always a butt when Adam is around.
Another great romance.I thoroughly enjoyed reading. I didn’t want to put it down.
I loved how Tuck and cade were so close. I love that Cade really tried to fight what he felt for haley. I loved Haley and Cade together and how they interacted. I loved the little twist in the book that came out great eighteen months later. I loved how close Tuck and Haley were. I could happily find nothing to criticize in this book. Another new favorite. I loved the plot and pace. I loved the characters and the ins and outs of this book and I highly recommend it.
