However you want to refer to sexy times, there were quite a few of them in this book, and boy were they steamy. The two main characters were Haley and Cade. Haley moves in with her older brother and his best friend Cade who live in a College town, though they graduated years ago. Haley is transferring to the nearby college to finish her degree. The brother, Tucker knows Cade, can’t keep a woman for more than a few days and treats the, like crap. So Tucker makes Cade Promise to not mess with his sister.

Of course Cade is attracted to Haley from the get go, but fights it and Haley starts dating another guy right away, but as you can probably guess, something happens there and Cade displays his jealousy and they eventually end up together. I will try not to give away any spoilers but want to let you know how I felt about the plot. So here goes. The brother is not home a lot, then he goes away on business for a while so they have a lot of time together to become friends and are very passionate.

I like the fact that it is not insta-love and they do fall deeply which I can see, and it does happen pretty quickly when you are together that much in your early twenties and sleeping together and there is a lot of passion. Though as the story progresses there seems to be one too many things that end up getting in their way.

I mean I can see the brother because that was coming from the beginning, then just when you think they might get back together they don’t and then again just when you think they might work it out, something else comes up. And then I won’t spoil here but I think it should have just been workable from that point somehow. Because I didn’t like part of the ending.

That said, I really did like the romance between Haley and Cade and I was even crying at one point. The book held my interest throughout so I give it a 3.8 stars (rounded up to 4). For the true love. 💋💖

To Be Your Girl is a gripping New Adult novel that I really enjoyed. The plot is rather typical –girl that falls in love with her brother’s best friend; sex god male protagonist that doesn’t do relationships—, but the characters are well-rounded and the story itself is consistent and makes you want to keep reading.

I laughed so much with Haley and Cade. They are cute and funny, but also passionate and sassy. They build a strong relationship based on friendship, and that is beautiful. I loved their dialogues and the scene where they dance was seriously too hot. OMG. Not to mention that the fact that he is a chef spiced everything up (excuse my stupid pun… or not). To be honest, it was super easy for me to sympathise with Haley, because I’ve always felt torn apart between how people assume I am and how I really am due to my appearance/good grades/shyness. It’s a serious thing and I do struggle with that sometimes, so I could understand what Haley feels.

I personally didn’t like the climax of this book nor the ending, but I respect how the author decided to close the novel. It’s a plausible ending. I just wish she hadn’t opted for such a poor and clichéd excuse as a trigger, especially because I recently read a Spanish duology called Deja que ocurra by Alice Kellen that follows the exact same storyline —and I didn’t like it then either.

To sum up, I highly recommend this novel if you are a fan of the NA genre. The characters are surprisingly mature and human. They are so adorable when they slouch on the sofa and watch films or when they cook together. C’mon, those are couple goals. Full stop.

I absolutely loved this book. I mean what a way to meet your new roommate, your moving in and he just finished making out with a girl. Haley, is Tucks sister. She moves in with tuck and Cade, to finish school. Cade is a total man whore, but so freaking adorable. While Tuck is working, these two get to know each other; between boyfriends and hookups will they find their way to each other? This was a one night read for me, I could not put it down!

The story is about Haley who is moving in with her brother, Tuck, and his roommate Cade.
We find out that Cade is quite charming and a ladies man, while Haley is a very studious, good college girl.
The story unfolds in a great pace, not rushed but not slow either.

I loved how mischievous and dirty Cade was, and how responsive Haley was to him.

I was a bit giddy when I started reading this story. It was the anticipation of reading a fun and sexy book.
It did not disappoint. It was fun and sexy as hell, and that's why I read it in one sitting.

The only reason why I am not giving this book a 5 star rating, is because I thought the drama was a bit too much. But all in all, a great and hot story.

Looking forward to reading the next one in the series.

I would happily recommend this book.

The main characters had me all in my feelings . I actually read it in less then a day and already know I’m gonna wanna re-read it . Steamy read in the middle I wanted to tear up by the end I was in my happy place . I think I’m a book hangover.

Oh my goodness this book was amazing! I literally couldn't stop reading. The chemistry between Haley and Cade is amazing and sweet. There is so many emotions running through me in this book! I felt like I was on the edge of my seat the whole time reading this!

I love the brother's best friend trope and so was excited to read this. But everything about this didn't work for me. I did not get the point of Adam's story line. There was really no point in him being there or any of those things happening. Tucker, the brother, was literally only present when it fit into the plot. The rest of the time it was like he didn't exist (and as he was living with them, it's hard to imagine he was never there). Cade and Haley fell in lust and their relationship lasted all of a few weeks. I just didn't believe in their relationship or that they'd be holding a torch for each other when it basically was a fling more than anything. Also, I had a hard time with the writing. It was a lot of telling, very little showing. It felt like a lot of "I did this... It was fun... It looked like this... I went here..." It made it hard for me to connect with the story.

Haley knew Cade Renner was trouble the very first moment she saw him-- half naked and tossing a random girl out of his bed. She knew moving in with her brother and his roommate wouldn't be easy, but when she starts falling for the tattooed ladies man despite having a seemingly perfect boyfriend, Haley has to decide if she's willing to put her heart on the line for what she really wants.

I found this to be very middle of the road; I didn't love it but I didn't dislike it either, it was just very...meh. Some of the plot points of the story itself felt a bit juvenile and dialed up just for drama. I enjoyed the relationship Haley had with her brother and friend, Court, those interactions felt the most genuine and real. The chemistry between Haley and Cade was fine, and I particularly liked the character development they both went through. Overall, despite not finding this all too memorable, I did enjoy it for what is was.

This was my first book by this author. It was okay I didn’t hate it but I didn’t love it either. I wasn’t super invested in the characters.

Let me just start off by saying that I love a good steamy, fluffy read every now and again. I adored this story and thought it was just that, until I got to about the 80% mark and I wanted to throw my kindle across the room. 🙈 Without getting too spoilery- I just got to a point where I didn’t care about the characters the way I had in the beginning. I will say though, I went into this thinking that it was going to be a typical love triangle with the boy next door on one side, and a steamy bad boy on the other that is totally “off limits” just based on the synopsis (which I wouldn’t have minded so much for an easy and entertaining read). But, it was actually a lot more than that. I definitely think that some of the characters had some great development throughout the novel. In my opinion, it could’ve been a bit shorter, and I could’ve done without the back and forth, and back and forth aspect of the romance.

My first read from this author and I didn't love what I read.
It seemed like it was more of lust than love. Much too steamy for my tastes.
However there were some good character moments for both the protagonists.

"To Be to Be Your Girl" is about Hale, a stunning good girl, and Cade, one who seems the classic bad boy. This two found themself to live together, since Hale is his best friend's little sister, and he promised not to fuck with her. Since the beggining there seems to be a lot of chemistry between them, but then she found a good boy who wants to be her boyfriend. Soon enough everything blows up between them, since her boyfriend Adam is a disgusting pig, but finally there is a chance for Cade! But obviously Tuck, the brother, finds out about his little sister, that is not that little anymore, and his best friend, and is mad and angry about it. I don't think I'll write something more or else I'll spoiler everything
Now let's talk for real.
I couldn't find Hale really relatable, I mean I know that every heroine in every book is way more than beautiful, skinny and perfect, but she just seemed way too self conscious about her look and way too perfect to understand her and really identify with her.
I found really weird, but obviously extremely convenient that Tuck was never home. I would have liked a little more interaction and participation from him.
Cade is wonderful. I love him. I fell really hard for him. Is romantic and, most of the time, shows what he feels.
I laughed and almost cried, so be prepared.
I didn't like at all that there is no specification about the location. I have no idea where everything takes place. It could be literally everywhere. Maybe some names of the cities and the country where they live in would be great. I mean, where do they live? Where do they come from? But some way it was kinda cool. I mean, I pictured myself the whole set and everything.
After I finished it a quote from Gossip Girl popped in my mind: "If two people are meant to be together, eventually they'll find their way back."
Well, I don't know what to add but just to read it because you won't regret it!
