This author has a way with her words. They pull me in and do not let go until the end. I thought I never wanted this story to end.

Chantal is one of my favorite author that doesn’t let me down. Renegade has always noticed the MC’s neighbor and now with a plan in place he’ll get more the just his passing by fill. Isabella is a graphic designer who works from home and her She closest neighbor in proximity to the members of the Knights of Fury MC. When Renegade plan no longer applies after spending time with Isabella he not sure how everything will work out but he wants it too. But the danger that has been lurking around the now coming for front and no one safe even Isabella can Renegade keep her safe? Will Isabella forgive Renegade?

Okay, so my first reaction when I finished Renegade was that these guys are kinda growing on me. I’ve realized that I have a type when it comes to MC romances. Some I’m on the fence with, but there have been others that I’ve flat out refused to finish. Others that I loved from the start. Just like with all groups, there’s good and there’s bad. The ones that I’ve refused to finish? It wasn’t because the writing was bad. Those are with main characters that are so bad, I see no way that they could possibly redeem themselves and find it really hard to stick around to see if they do. So far, Knights of Fury hasn’t come close to crossing that line, at least not with the main characters. There are a few that are questionable though, but I still hold out hope. The thing is, I can’t really tell you what they did that was questionable because it’s kind of a twist in the story line. Let’s just say, you’ll know it when you read it – or maybe it’s just me? Again?

Anyway… on the surface, Renny and Bella were not a match by any stretch of the imagination – until you got to know them. Renny had been admiring Bella from a distance and he already had respect for her because of the help she had given Skylar in Saint, the first book in the Knights of Fury series. Bella didn’t feel the same attraction, even though she was curious. When Renny seemed to come to her rescue, her opinion changed. Their unintended marriage was comical, until their feelings grew.

Things aren’t easy though. Trust if fragile and then danger falls on their doorstep. Renny sets out to prove that he’ll do anything to protect those he considers family, but Bella has to decide if that’s enough to win her heart.

I loved getting to know the Knights of Fury even better and the rest of the supporting characters added just as much to the story. Like I said, they’re growing on me. That sense of family is a strong pull for me in any story and it’s definitely a strong aspect of this series. I’m even looking forward to Temper, the next book in the series.

This is book two int he Knights Fury MC. I did not read book one but I was able to read this with no problem and follow along. It wasn’t over the top or too intense. To me, this is a mild MC. It touches on things but it is a really easy read and I was captivated from the first page. The author did well drawing her reader in.

The book opens with Izzy’s car breaking down and needing some help. She lives close to the MC compound so she isn’t too unnerved when Renny (Renegade) stops to help her. She only has her sister because she had her father don’t get along.

Renny is a good guy with a big heart and I actually liked him. He stops to help Izzy with her broken-down car. He has a good relationship with his brothers and would do anything for them.

Izzy needs to get to her sister in Vegas. She is about ready to give birth and she isn’t about to let her sister do this alone. So when offered a ride to her sister by Renny she isn’t about to turn it down. These two have scorching chemistry and hit it off all the way. Renny and his mouth. Well, hot damn.

I loved the MC and the friends they were great. I like the bond that Izzy formed with Skylar. I liked the MC people too. Renny with baby Mila. Can you say an ovary explosion? yes, its a thing. I thought Temper and Saint were great, who am I kidding I liked them all. There is a lot going on but it isn’t over the top and I kept waiting for the shoe to drop and it doesn’t but not like I thought it would. I liked that twist and turn. I felt like there wasn’t full closure in this book but that it becaue it is keeping it open for the next in the series. Sign me up because I am looking forward to it.

Overall I liked this book. As I said it kept me engaged. Looking forward to the next in this series.

Actual rating: 2.5 stars

This was my first time reading an MC romance. They’ve stood out to me for a while as something that I wanted to read and would probably enjoy, but I never picked one up until now. Unfortunately what I was expecting and what I got were two pretty different things.

My main issue was the characters. Isabella and Renny didn’t pique my interest at all. I was more invested in the side characters and their stories as well as Skylar and her story (which would have been a part of the first novel in the series). I was more looking forward to what was going on with Ariel and her disgusting baby daddy as well as Trade. Like give me all the details of Ariel’s life because I would read that book in a heartbeat. I mean their dad was also a massive ass, but I bet his story would have been a page-turner too.

With the plot, I found that things happened and resolved themselves in about 5 pages every single time. That made it much more difficult to care about Isabella and Renny because I knew everything would be fine in a couple minutes. Reading an MC romance, I was expecting things to be crazy and intense and to have my heart racing with the promise of action. Unfortunately with quick resolutions, I never seemed to get that.

Overall, I would say this was a clean MC romance. The guys were way nicer than I was expecting (although very possessive) and there wasn’t a large amount of edge-of-your-seat action. So if you’ve always wanted to read an MC romance, but were looking for something that’s low-intensity to dip your toes in, then read this one.

Renegade by Chantal Fernando is book 2 in the Knights of Fury series.

I have read the first book in the series and I enjoyed it so I couldn't wait to get my hands on this book.

I thought this book wasn't as good as the first one but yes I did like this book. I just wish there would have been more drama but I still kept reading because the story is good.

I am giving this 4 out of 5.

From Renegade......

Renny’s lip twitches, and he nods toward his black motorcycle. “Get on. I’ll try my best to get you there on time.”

“Thank you, Renny,” I say, grabbing my handbag from my car and crossing the strap over my body. I have my purse, ID and credit cards; anything else can be bought.

“Have you ever ridden before?” he asks as he helps me climb on, his large hands on my waist sending shivers up my spine.

“Yeah, I have actually,” I tell him, smiling fondly, remembering the times I’d ride with my cousin before he passed away. “On the back of one, anyway.”

“Okay,” he murmurs, studying me with a slightly narrowed gaze. I’ve always had a weakness for men with blue eyes, but suddenly brown is looking extremely appealing.

“I’ll skip the debrief then. We need to stop at the clubhouse first, but then we will head off. You have the address of where you need to be?”

“Yeah, I do,” I reply, reciting the name and address of the hospital to him.

He nods and hands me his spare helmet. “I’ll have your car towed to the clubhouse and it should be ready by the time we get back from Vegas.”

“That’s great. Thank you,” I say, feeling grateful it’s one less thing to worry about. “I just need to get there.”

The thought of Ariel in labor alone makes me feel sick to my stomach. The baby decided to come two weeks early, otherwise I would have been with her this entire time. The father is my sister’s ex and wants nothing to do with the baby, which makes my role even more important.

Renny gets on in front of me and fires up the engine. “Let’s do it then.”
Feeling awkward, I put the helmet on and hold on to the back of his leather vest, very aware of my personal space, knowing that I’m about to be pressed up against this man for the next few hours at least. I’m not exactly sure how I’ve found myself in this situation, or how this Renny ended up being my knight in shining armor, but I’m glad he was around.

I’ve heard a lot of things about the MC—like that they engage in criminal activities and are dangerous womanizers. I know they are judged in the community and that no one wants them here, but I want to form my own opinion. Even the real estate agent who sold me my house told me that he wished they would move away, because they are nothing but trouble.

But from what Renny is doing for me, they don’t seem too bad.

Or at least I hope they aren’t.

Because I just signed up for the next few hours at their mercy.

Ariel, I’m coming.

Review:

Renegade is the second novel in Chantal Fernando’s Knights of Fury MC series and is another fun and entertaining biker romance.

Good girl Isabella wouldn’t miss the birth of her sisters first baby for anything. So when her car breaks down and one of the bikers from next door offers her a lift to Vegas, it’s too tempting too pass up. Besides, travelling with her arms wrapped around sexy Renny, otherwise known as Renegade, isn’t exactly a bad way to travel. After all, living next to the Knights of Fury MC has always left Izzy curious. And during a wild night in Vegas, she gets a firsthand taste…..although not the way she expected. When drinks turn into dares, Izzy wakes up the following morning; married. To Renny. Reeling from her cliché Vegas experience, an annulment should be the next step…..but nothing endangers a potential annulment more than a sexy new husband who is also unexpectedly sweet. When Isabella and Renny give into the attraction that simmers between them, Izzy will need to decide if outlaw life is something she can handle….or if she’s in over her head.

Chantal Fernando is back with another enjoyable instalment in her Knights of Fury MC series. Proving once again she knows what she is doing with biker novels, Fernando writes an entertaining and effortless tale with romance, humour and action. So far this series has included two delightful tales that are quick reads and easily leave me satisfied---while also craving more.

Renegade unfolds through the eyes of Isabella, the next-door neighbour of the Knights of Fury Motorcycle Club and a kindhearted and easy to follow protagonist. Isabella is a friendly and nice young woman who finds herself drawn into the outlaw world when a night out in Vegas ends with her married to Renny, a member of the Knights of Fury. It was a cliché situation Izzy found herself in—drunkenly married in Vegas—but boy was it still fun to read about.

Renny was a softer male lead than I’ve seen in Chantal Fernando’s novels lately. He was more laid back and easy going. Don’t get me wrong---he was all for his woman, but he didn’t come across as being as alpha as many of the other club members do. He had a sweet relationship with Isabella. It was perfectly balanced with sexy moments, angst and softness.

As I said after I reading Saint, I’m looking forward to seeing some of the other Knights of Fury members get stories, but I’ll now add two more names to the list---Temper’s brother Trade and Isabella’s sister Ariel. I think they were super adorable and Chantal Fernando needs to give them a tale together!

Fast reading but enjoyable from start to finish Renegade was another great MC tale from Chantal Fernando and has me looking forward for when she will release the next instalment in the series---hope it’s soon because I need more!

Chantal Fernando is back at it again. And she brought us another story to Knight of Fury series, Renegade.

Reader will finally get Renegade story and it's going to be doozy. Renegade aka Renny has been crushing on his MC next-door-neighbor, Isabella, for awhile. She is so sweet that he does not have chance to do so until later on. It's definitely coincidence when they finally meet but love is love or you can say Renegade gets what he want at the end.

Isabella never in her mind thinks that she will be thinking about dating a MC biker or no less in hitching a ride with one. But never say never. It may be unexpected but life is short that she should just take it and she does.

Their relationship is going to be journey together. There is going to be some drama, some romance and definitely some fighting.

I always find Chantal Fernando MC books on the lite side but I'm always still drawn to her writing. Sometimes it's nice to have the MC world without being so dark and heavy and Chantal can do that well. This is the second book in this Knights of Fury MC series.

We found in the book Saint, that Renny had a crush on his neighbor Isabella. This book starts with Isabella running into trouble with her car and Renny and some of the Knights of Fury MC happen to be there to help her in her predicament.

This story was a bit predictable but still sweet. I liked Renegade and Isabella together. Skylar's mom is a piece of work. She is bat shit crazy. I'm not sure who the next book will be about but I hope it's Ariel & Trade.

This book was good but it didn't wow me.

2.5 stars!

Izzy hasn't had any problems living next door to the MC Clubhouse. They do their thing, she does hers. When her car breaks down when she is desperate to get Vegas she takes a chance when Renny from the club offers her a ride their.

On their way to Vegas, she learns about Renny, the guys in the club. She's funny, outgoing and the chemistry between her and Renny is hot!!! When the guys hear that she hasn't had a Vegas night the whole time she's been there or before they decide to do the town. Oh what a night they had!!!!

When she wakes up next to Renny married to him she can't believe it. This cannot be happening to her right? There's no way she's telling her sister that's for sure. She has to take care of this. Renny is super sweet and the MC has a bunch of super sweet men in it. They will do what it takes to help who needs it. Especially if it's a member.

Will Renny and Izzy become more than friends as time goes by? What if there's a lie that is found out? Will there be secrets that can destroy what they're trying to build? Will the MC's help cover Izzy if she is ever in need of it?

You have to read it and find out!!!

While Izzy is trying to get to her sister before she has her baby, her car breaks down before she even leaves town. She doesn't have time for this; does she call a mechanic or her dad? When she hears a bike coming closer, she gets a little nervous. Not bad nervous but excited nervous. She lives close to the MC and has for a little over a year. Hasn't had any problem. When Renny offers a ride to Vegas, she cannot refuse; after all, it will get her to her sister sooner.

Renny is part of the Knights of Fury MC. He has been watching Izzy for a while and can't believe he is about to take her to Vegas on the back of his bike. He wants to get to know her better, wants more with her. The trip to Vegas is uneventful and Renny offers to pick her up when she is ready to go back home.

Can Izzy accept the MC life if she gets involved with Renny? Will she end things with him when she learns the truth about how they met? Can she help them get one of their brothers out of trouble? Will her estranged father ever redeem himself? Will Izzy and Renny get their happily ever after?

I love Chantal Fernando and her MC stories. She has a way of bringing the story together with fun, flirty, sexy couples and a storyline with just enough suspense to keep you on your toes. Although I really liked this story, I think the first book with Saint and Skylar is my favorite couple so far. I cannot wait for the next book in this series.

This is the second book in the series, and I would definitely recommend that you read Saint first, so that you are up-to-date with the current state of the MC.

I really enjoyed this biker romance, and felt that the relationship between Izzy and Renny developed well, with a great twist in their first visit to Vegas. As well as a cute new baby niece for Izzy, there was Shadow, the dog they re-homed, who was the star in a few important scenes. However, there were bits which it seemed to me were skated over – indeed, I didn't get why they were there when they could have been used to good effect. For example, the shooting at the mall. I waited and waited for it to come up (surely it was a huge event in her day!) – to be fair, eventually it did, but so much in passing that it seemed pointless to have included at all. There were a few other passages which I found didn't help the story's progress. They didn't spoil the story, but they did deflect from the flow.

That said, I found that there was good chemistry, definitely plenty of excitement, and enough mystery and intrigue that I am looking forward to reading the next book.

This was not what I was expecting from a Motorcycle romance. I go in thinking dark and gritty but this was surprisingly more like a contemporary romance where the hero just happened to belong in an MC. So for those of you who maybe want to dabble into MC romance but don’t like the darkness this seems like a great book to start at.

Our heroine lives next door to a Motorcycle Club and when her car stops working a member stops by to check it out for her. Our hero is a member of the MC who has had a crush on their neighbour ever since he first saw her so this was their perfect meet cute. He offers her a lift to Vegas (where her sister is having a baby) and one thing leads to another and yup they wake up married.....

The story is told only through the heroine’s POV which almost let me down a little (I personally prefer dual POVs) because it means I didn’t get any of the grittier aspects I normally get from a hero in an MC. The other thing is the sex scenes were over and done in two sentences and all I wanted was MORE, because again this just wasn’t what I was expecting for an MC book. Overall it was ok if a bit boring.

I didn't read the 1st book in this series and, I'm not sure I would have read this one if I had. I was excited to find a new author and the fact that this one was MC made it more appealing. But, I actually found it to be a little boring. I never really felt a connection between Renny and Izzy and thought the whole MC thing didn't make it past the blurb.

"Between wild parties and rumbling motorcycles, living next to the Knights of Fury MC has always left Isabella curious..." Maybe the wild parties were in book 1 because they were not in this one. "Between wild parties and rumbling motorcycles, living next to the Knights of Fury MC has always left Isabella curious..." Maybe the wild parties were in book 1 because they were not in this one.

I started skimming about 3/4 of the way through and, honestly, found this one to be on the left side of ok.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Chantal Fernando is freaking amazing!!! Everytime I pick up a novel by her it's an immediate addiction and I almost always end up finishing the book in the very same day I started it. I can't not finish a book by her, there is no just setting it down and walking away. It's always a one more page promise that is instantly broken.

Renegade is the second book in the Knights Of Fury series. This is Renegade (Renny) and Isabella's story.

From the start I loved Renny and Isabella's story. But what's not to love when it comes to a chance at fate and a biker meeting the woman of his dreams, who also happens to be the club's neighbor, on the side of the road frantic with a dead car. Everything at that moment has fallen into place, Renny just needs to stick with the plan. And let his heart take the backseat.

Renny is a sexy broody biker on the outside but inside this man has a heart of gold and enough love to fill an ocean. I loved his vibe throughout this novel.

The same goes for Isabella, I loved watching her step out of her comfort zone and become a person she's always kept on lockdown. I loved her fierceness and the protective vibe when it came to her sister and her new niece, but most of all I loved the fact when she uncovered a few truths, she didn't automatically become a doormat and forgive right away, she let those that wronged her suffer with her silence and that's something that doesn't always happen in romance novels.

So in order to avoid spoilers, I'm going to cut this review short by stating, Renny and Isabella's story is just another in a long list of novels I loved by this author and I cannot wait to read more from her in the future.

Renegade is the second title in the Knights of Fury MC series, featuring Izzy and Renny.

Renny 'Renegade' is a sweet alpha with a big heart, he doesn't quite fit the MC hero stereotype which I really enjoyed. He's captivated by the neighbor of the clubhouse the minute he sees her, and he's not afraid to be a little underhanded to get his way.

Izzy is sweet and kind, but she has a backbone and is quite strong, resilient and independent.

Although this title is comparatively low in angst, with some lighthearted and steamy moments I found myself captivated by the story line. Overall it's quite an intriguing story with several twists and turns I didn't expect and I cannot wait to see more of the Knights of Fury MC.

Book: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Steam: 🔥

This was my first MC romance and it definitely didn't disappoint. This is the second book in the series and I still enjoyed it even though I haven't read the first (I will still read the first). Both Renny and Isabella were likable characters and their chemistry was 🔥.

What I loved about this book:

1. I loved that the instant connection felt by Renny and Izzy was evident, but they still took their time getting to know each other.

2. I love steamy romances, but I also enjoy reading fade to black romances. This one was a cross between the two. It had descriptive foreplay and then was fade to black.

3. I loved the characters of this book. Izzy's relationship was great and I loved reading their banter. I also loved the tough, but kind bikers of the MC.

Renegade by Chantal Fernando is book Two in the Knights of Fury Series. This is the story of Renegade 'Renny' and Isabella 'Izzy'. I have read the previous book but feel you an make this a standalone book if you wish to do so. Isabella is heading to her sister's for the arrival of her new baby...but she ends up having car trouble before she even gets started. Then she hears a bike coming which she does live by the Knights of Fury MC but then he stops. Renegade has been watching Isabella for a while and this being his chance to fully meet her. Renegade offers to take her to Vegas to be with her sister so she ends up on his bike. This gives them the time to get to know each other some but then during Vegas something happens that may tie them together for longer.
Enjoyed their story.

Isabella is next door neighbors with a biker named Renny "Renegade" of the Knights of Fury MC. She's seen it all living next to him but now her sister is having a baby and her car is broken down. She agrees to a ride to Las Vegas with Renegade. She experiences the outlaw life first hand and is fine until she wakes up after a drunken night married to Renny. Oh boy, talk about a crazy wild time. An annulment might be hard to get if you have already given in to temptation. A fun, sexy read that I recommend.

I received a copy of this book via Netgalley and am leaving a review.

What is not to love about wrapping your arms and legs around a member of an MC? Nothing, unless you are a good girl like Izzy and that bad boy is Renny! OH, this story just pulled me in. With the banter that had me laughing and needing to fan myself all at once, this was exactly what I was looking for. With a need to get to her sister Izzy is desperate and accepts help from biker Renny and this is when the magic happens.
Seeming like they has known each other their entire lives made the chemistry just explode off the pages. I will say that I did miss some club drama, with all the drama being centered around Izzy. I just need something a little heavier to happen.
All and all this was an enjoyable read and I will be back for more.
