The second book in the Knights of Fury series had me captivated from the start. Renny and Izzy are walking proof of what happens in Vegas doesn't necessarily stay in Vegas. However as lies and deceptions are brought to the surface Renny must go into damage control to ensure he doesn't lose the woman that means everything to him. As enemies come at them from every angle these two will realize that nothing else matters besides love and family. Their story will have you on the edge of your seat, have you heating up like a tailpipe after a long ride and will have you feeling the strong arm of the brotherhood as it wraps its way around you. Renny and Izzy will have you falling in love and hoping that as the storm clears that they will finally get the happily ever after without a cloud of mistrust and past mistakes hanging over them.

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book (given by Netgalley)...

This is Renny (aka Renegade) and Izzy’s story.

Ok so there is a lot that happens in this book, but I enjoyed it and it wasn’t too cluttered where you can get confused. Renny and Izzy hit it off right away and it was really cute how quickly they became a couple; mins you there was a major hiccup that oddly enough leads to a first date. I adored Izzy because she was just down to earth and honest and the love she has for her sister, Ariel, and her newborn niece, Mila, was so beautiful. Renny was totally swoon worthy with his courtship of Izzy; however, our love able hero does a major no-no which leaves him without his Izzy. He totally deserved everything Izzy did and said to him and I hoped he would get kicked in the man parts.

I loved that Izzy didn’t just instantly forgive him, but I do wished she held out a just a bit more. However, I loved that she wasn’t petty and went to the root of issue and talked with Temper, the MC president.

Izzy and Ariel’s dad, I still don’t like the man, he’s just ugh and blah, I supposed he was trying to build a relationship with his daughters, but I just couldn’t soften towards the man. He also in a way brings more problems for the Knights MC since the Destined Killers have an issue with Izzy’s dad.

Unfortunately, for the MC club it seems the problems from Saint have not blown over and MC is still on alert. And of course that horrible human who gave birth to Skylar (aka Georgia) is back and causing problems.

I am interested to see the relationship between Ariel and Trade, but we will have to wait because Temper’s book is next and I can’t wait :)

Renegade is book two in the series. I really liked it. I loved loved Renny and Isabella. Renny was really sweet and swoony. Isabella was sweet, sassy and a really great woman. Their chemistry and connection was amazing. I loved them together. I am hoping that Ariel will be getting a book!

I think the Kings Fury MC is the most civilized, polite, and law abiding MC I have ever read about. 😬 (that’s not necessarily a good thing)

Overall Rating: ⭐️⭐️
Kindle unlimited: No

If you are in any book groups with me you will probably know that I like my MC books gritty, sexy, and violent. I mean it’s about an MC...and unless they are a bunch of good guys on bikes, I don’t want them to innocent enough they should be on trikes. This is book two of the Kings Fury MC and it felt more like a small town hallmark romance rather than a biker book. Yikes my least favorite anything is a cutesy small town hallmark romance.
.
I honestly don’t think one law was broken in this book and the main characters had a serious case of insta love, insta solve our problems, and insta hero turns into a puppy dog. Renegade was no rebel or outlaw, he was more like giant teddy bear 🧸. As for Izzy, she’s the most forgiving and easy going heroines ever. For some people these may be good qualities to have in a book, I am not one of those people. I enjoyed the Wind Dragons series, so it pains me not to have loved this series, but this one is too light and fluffy for my dark twisted mind.
.
If you are looking for PG, insta everything with little to no drama. This is your book! To each his own, for me though, I think this is my last stop on the Kings Fury train I need at least drop of blood 🩸 shed in my books. 🤷🏻‍♀️

3.5 stars... a easy, low angst read that builds on from the previous story in this series. Good chemistry and storyline but a bit predictable. Looking forward to the next book in this series.

This is the 2nd book in this series, and Saint needs to be read first in order to get a better understanding of the dynamics. Isabella is on her way to Vegas for the birth of her niece, when her car breaks down, and Renny her neighbor comes to the rescue. This is a well written story which has drama, danger, violence, twists, and is a fun and steamy read. In my opinion though I loved the story, it just felt very rushed. I am looking forward to reading more in this intriguing series.

Renegade by Chantal Fernando is another great one in this series. What more could you ask for? Hot motorcycle club neighbors, Las Vegas, waking up married? Yes, please! This book is a must read for all who love a HEA MC romance!

This book is part of a series, but can be read as a standalone.
I was excited to get my hands on this book! I read the first in the series and was eager for Izzy’s story! This MC book was on the sweeter side compared to some of Chantal Fernando’s other MC stories. Renny is definitely an all alpha man, but he doesn’t fall into the gruff or grizzly norm of MC behavior.

“He’s a smooth operator, this Renny, and I knew that from the second he first spoke to me. He has a lot of swag to him-every move is sensual, graceful, and …just cool.”

Yep! Even Izzy clocked his sweetness a mile away. Too good to be true for sure! But Izzy loved feeling alive again. He enabled her be “out there” and live life again. She found along the way that she was even learning to trust again.

“He brings out the life in me, but that isn’t always the safest way to live.”

But nothing is really as it seems and Izzy is abruptly reminded why she’s lived so guarded.

“I should have resisted temptation, but I didn’t, and now I have to pay the price.”

Now, when all she wants to do is hide, everyone wants something from her. Will she help them? And what will it cost her in addition to the heartache? After getting to know her, Renny finds Izzy isn’t so easy to forget. Will he fight for her or let her go?

I enjoyed this book. Some parts were predictable, but overall, I found it to be an entertaining and steamy story. The characters were fun, especially Ariel! She kept it real! I am looking forward to her story!!

This book was all about family, the ones that you are born to and the ones that you make. And I love that in a book. Family is important, and those connections made this a fabulous story!

Izzy is a good girl, who works hard, and loves hard. She's loyal, and will do anything she can to help someone, especially if it's someone she considers family. Crazy events lead her to Renny, and his family of bikers. An instant heat and a spur of the moment road trip put them on the path to each other. Danger and tragedy try to keep them apart. Circumstances threw Renny and Izzy together, but an instant attraction took it further. A fun night in Vegas turned in to so much more. But can they turn what started as a whim into something that will last a life time?

I loved Remmy and Izzy's connection, and their ease with each other. Right from the first meeting, it seemed like they had known each other a lifetime, they were absolutely perfect. And even though there were so many things stacked against them, I couldn't help but cheer for them to find their HEA together! This was a fun book, one that kept me guessing, and kept me laughing. This is definitely turning out to be a series that I'm enjoying enough to put on my re-read list!

"I mean, I wouldn't want him to be unable to sleep tonight, so I guess I could take one for the team and tire him out tonight. I know, it's a hard job, but somebody has to do it."

I have been filled with anticipation while waiting for Renegade. After reading the first book in the series, I knew Izzy lived next door to the clubhouse, and I hoped that she would end up with one of the Knights. But, damn, what a way to do it, right? We all know that what happens in Vegas never stays in Vegas.

It was quite amusing as Izzy got to know Renny. Her sense of humor is incredible and she kept me giggling throughout. As she pointed out, Renegade is his nickname, and Renny is his nickname's nickname. He showed up looking all sexy on his Harley right when her car was broke down on the side of the road. It might have taken them a little longer to get to know each other if she wasn't desperate to get to Vegas for the delivery of her big sister's baby. All her reservations went out the window due to the urgency of the situation. She needed to get to Vegas, now.

Ladies, I guarantee you are gonna be in hog heaven reading this book. It's funny, sexy, sweet and suspenseful. Oh, and let's not forget that it's HOT! 🔥 It's got all the things I've come to expect from Chantal Fernando, and she never disappoints. With this being the early part of the series there's much more suspense to look forward to. The ongoing club business situation has not been resolved and there's no telling what surprises she has for us in Temper. The line forms here...

Who is with me on this, Renny is awesome? He is definitely not what I think of when I think MC member. He is kind and sweet. But, if I found out what Isabella found out, he would definitely be in the doghouse eating sh*t for a while. I loved that Isabella had a backbone and did not fall back into his arms/bed but made him earn her trust back. This story is not truly an MC gritty story but more of a story of love and forgiveness. Renny is one of my favorite heroes of Chantal.

There are only two authors who write the MC genre that I am still keen to read - and Chantal Fernando is one of them.

Izzy and Renny's story is all the cliches - the "boy" next door, the drunken Vegas wedding yada yada yada - however from the blurb we knew it was going to be a little bit that way.

And I completely adored it.

You probably should read the first book, Saint, before diving into Renegade. There is just too much going on in the background and you will miss things if you haven't read the first one.

Now, this girl here really wouldn't mind waking up married to Renny. He is more teddy bear than biker most of the the time -though there are plenty of times when he P'd off not just Izzy but me too.

The one thing I was missing in this story was that extra oomph and biker bad that Saint and other Chantal Fernando stories have had in the past.

I read this book in one evening, and I look forward to more from Ms Fernando in the future.

Good story overall - Renny is a such a sweetheart. Ending wayyyy too fast tho!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I don’t normally read a lot of MC tropes. They all seem to have the same underlying theme running through them.
However, I love Chantal Fernando and the stories that she brings so I thought I would go ahead and check out this upcoming release.
The fact that this book took off from the get go was a part I really appreciated. Sometimes an author takes a long time to get into it all. But this one started with a lot of interest from the beginning and it just continued to grow throughout the entire book.
There was a lot of lightheartedness and fun involved in the story. It made it so much different than some of the other MC tropes I have read.
I really enjoyed Renny. He’s a great character that knew what he had before we even did. He was kind and considerate, not to mention hot as hell, and even though he had a big boo-boo that came out later in the story, how could one say no?
Izzy in turn was a great balance. Non-judgmental, even if she was a bit too trusting. However, a great character to even him out.
Renegade is an enjoyable story. I think the author could have really given us more of the goods we like to read. The hot sexy times felt reserved and implied in many ways. I do love their connection and the build up for more to come. But the ending was wayyyy rushed. That I did not like at all.
It's a job well done when the author has me feeling in cloud nine just like the character and then drops me with disappointment when Isabella feels betrayed. I was invested because this book manages to be sweet and romantic even when mixed with trouble and violence. But how can I not? Isabella is a caring, non judgmental, genuine woman. Always with the best intentions. And Renegade is the alpha, confrontational but honest protector that without a thought takes responsibility of her. Although in his mind is more like taking ownership LOL.
There is no better backup than this family of Knights. They are no saints but they still are the good guys. And now that trouble is brewing and everyone is on alert, I can't wait to see what happens next.
This is the first book I've read from this author and it was a good MC read. I enjoyed the characters a lot. Renny and Isabella had me laughing a lot at their back and forth banter. Throw Temper, Saint and Dee into the mix and you have a lot of laughs. I really enjoyed how things started and ended with Renny and Isabella. However, there were times that Isabella really worked on my nerves with the back and forth. I enjoyed Isabella's sister Ariel and I loved how protective they were with each other. Ariel and Temper's relationship was predictable. However, I look forward to reading their story. This book was funny, sweet and steamy, with a few surprises, twists and turns. It touched lightly on the MC aspect of the story but it was still a good read. I will be recommending this one to family and friends looking for a sweet, steamy and funny romance MC read.
I love a bad boy hero so MC Romance peak my interest but sometimes they can be a little too dark. This novel was perfect, for what I would consider myself as, a MC Novice. Basically a gateway into the genre. There was a little danger and you did get a peek into the club life but for the most part the story revolves around the couple.
The Vegas marriage plot is a trope I enjoy and made me want to read the story. I easily feel in love with these characters and was hooked on seeing them have a happy ending. I love the mix of badass biker and romantic gestures. From the beginning you can feel the chemistry from these two and it only gets better as the story progresses. While there are a few steamy scenes there is more to the couple than just sex.
This was easily a stand alone read and gives very little away for book one. I feel like I wanted a little more from the ending though. There is a little action but I really felt like there was some unresolved build up. Since this is a series I expect to see it in the next book but I really wish the author had resolved it here. There was also one scene where we are introduced to the rival MC gang that felt out of place and didn't really tie in with the story. This is me getting nit picky but I also don't really love the cover of the book. I wish it was more than just a guys face in shadows.
I would eagerly read more in this series!
Another good book in this series. You have a little action and some drama, but it keeps You on your toes wondering what's going to happen. Renny and Izzy were perfect for one another and I can't wait for the next one.
DNF at 15%.
This is a case of "it's not you, it's me", I think? The story sounds like something I'd love but the writing style doesn't mesh with me.
Giving this a pass for now.
Izzy and Renny make an awesome couple! They really do.
Add in her sister, her niece and his MC family and you have the makings of a great story!
These two officially meet when her car breaks and he drives her to Las Vegas for her niece’s birth.
That’s all I’m saying.
Check this book out - the story was great and I highly recommend it with 4.5 stars.
Three stars is pushing it. This was about the cleanest, dramaless, boringest MC book I have read.
So many plot holes and no MC drama. Some will love this. Renny is about the wimpiest MC member I have ever read. He cooks, cleans, isn’t a bad boy, and isn’t overly alpha. Must be a dreamboat biker. What does Izzy’s sister do? How can she just hang out all the time? Why does Izzy’s dad just change in the middle of the book? What happened to Georgia? She is brought up as the boogeyman and then the topic is dropped and we skip 6 months.
MC read nope. Alpha male heck no. Drama NOT. Hot interactions between the main characters no. Nothing that the book was pumped up to be. Vert disappointed.
Received an ARC for an honest review.
