'The Guide for Every Screenwriter' reads like a quickfire summary of all the books ever written about screenwriting. Whether it is plotting, structure, selling a script or formatting it, Calhoun covers it in this short book. For those who want practical advice, this is a great book to get started with. For those more interested, perhaps, in reading about the craft or the philosophy behind certain things, I'd check out the bibliography/recommended reading section.
