Once again, Kristy Woodson Harvey has brought us into the middle of an emotional crisis. Her words will have your emotions spanning the spectrum from heartwrenching sorrow to anger to exasperation to laughter. The upheaval in the lives of the main characters will have you waiting to see what will happen next. The feeling of hope for what the future can hold will keep you waiting for the next episode.

The story is told from the viewpoint of two women who are the main characters. You will be drawn into their lives and you will be cheering them on one minute while your heart will ache along with them the next minute.

Thank you to NetGalley and the author for an ARC in exchange for my honest review. I look forward to another delightful story from the author.

I would happily read anything by this author! Well written southern wit coupled with true human emotion. Plus I loved that Gray and Diana were strong, independent woman who chose to persevere rather than let life being them down. Great read.

Feels Like Falling is a novel about love, friendship, and forgiveness. The struggles and heartache that the characters endure as they find their way through difficult times is real, and readers can identify with the journey to
overcome obstacles. A thoroughly enjoyable and engaging book!

Feels like a GREAT READ!

Feels Like Falling is a heartwarming story about friendship and big life changes. Through her amazing characters, Kristy Woodson Harvey shows the readers that despite the family you have it’s the family you make that will carry you through the tough times in life.
Gray and Diana were brought together by a misunderstanding. Little did they both know how much they needed each other. Despite being on opposite ends of the spectrum to how “easy” life has been for each woman, they find themselves in the same position; uncertain about the future and longing for a love and community that feels like home.
This is a perfect beach or vacation read. I would highly recommend this book.

Feels Like Falling is a trailblazing work of women's fiction that follows two separate unconventional romances. There's Gray, a 35 year old divorcee who falls head over heels for her son's tennis instructor. Then there's Diana, Gray's housekeeper, who's 40 and ends up rekindling an old flame of her own. Diana is one of my top five favorite book characters of all time: she's witty, she's got a spine of steel, and she's from a social class that can be dismissed pretty easily in women's fiction. I loved how heartwarming this book was. I say this about all of Kristy's books, but it genuinely made me laugh out loud and tear up, too. I can't wait to see what she comes up with next.

I adore Kristy Harvey's work and loved all the Peachtree Bluff books so I was delighted to see she would have a new one out this spring. And FEELS LIKE FALLING does not disappoint. I stayed up way too late reading this. She writes about hard subjects with such warmth and laughter. I love all her characters -- they feel like they could all be great friends to have. The sisterly-like bond between Diana and Gray is the best. I'll be telling all my friends to read this first thing this spring. What a delight!

Thank you NetGalley for my Arc. I’m never disappointed with a Kristy Woodson Harvey book and this holds true still. A wonderful story that follows two completely different women, Gray and Diane, that build a friendship and help each other through hard times and tough decisions. I really enjoyed it and definitely loved the characters.

Gray and Diana
Total opposites
Gray seems to have it all
Diana seems to not have anything
That could not be further from the truth
Whether they know it or not, these two need each other !
Such a great story of friendship, second chances, getting through life’s ups and downs and becoming the best person you could be !
I laughed and cried and wanted to move in with these ladies .
I loved this book , Kristy Woodson Harvey has such a way with words and emotions and I think this is her best book yet!

FEELS LIKE FALLING is a heartwarming and well-written story about families, both the ones we're both with and the ones we make. Gray and Diana are strong female lead characters and I felt drawn to them both. The way their relationship develops is handled with a great deal of charm. The setting is lovely and I could easily picture the locale. If you're looking for a light - but very satisfying - read, this should move to the top of your TBR list.

Love this book -- had never read anything from this author, and I'm looking forward to checking out her previous titles. Diana and Gray are instantly lovable and relatable characters with real problems that they work to resolve. The romance is fun and "PG rated." Recommend this to readers who enjoy Elin Hilderbrand, Susan Mallery, and Sarah Morgan.

Free Falling is about families - the kind you are born into, the kind you make and the kind that find you.

Gray Holland is a newly single mother still reeling from her mother’s death and her once rowdy sister’s new religious conservatism after marriage to a pastor.

Diana Harrington was abandoned by her mother and raised in a series of foster homes, losing track of her siblings and then rejected by the man she loved.

When a misunderstanding brings these two women together, they bond over their losses and dreams. Their friendship gives them the family they have missed and the foundation to add friends, siblings, men and business success.

The characters in Kristy Woodsen Harvey’s novels are always women you want to invite into your own home. They stay with you long after the story has ended. Pick up Free Falling for a great read on a long, lazy weekend.

I loved this. It was the perfect read to end summer. I don't think I found any of the characters to be overly appealing to me and didn't connect with them but they all worked perfect together. Being from North Carolina, I could feel where the inspiration for this location came from and I just really enjoyed it. I had a three hour plane ride and knocked it out on the way there. I couldn't put it down and I can't wait to buy a physical copy when it comes out.

Kristy Woodson Harvey never disappoints!! I didn’t even read the book description for Feels Like Falling because Kristy is such a sure thing for me!!

Feels Like Falling centers around Diana Harrington and Gray Howard who both find themselves in unforeseen situations. As fate would have it, the two ladies are put in each other’s lives just when they need it the most. As their friendships grows, both Gray and Diana lean on each other for much needed support!

This novel had me at hello! I love books based on fantastic women and Kristy Woodson Harvey is a master at writing strong, brave, and inspiring women! The storyline was a great mix of women’s fiction and romance that flowed beautifully! After the second chapter, I found myself hoping Kristy was going to turn this book in a series (seriously still keeping my fingers crossed)! Feels Like Falling is a 5+++ star novel will captive you and have you forgetting the rest of the world! I highly recommend this book- the absolute perfect beach read!!!

I would recommend this for all readers looking for a romance that doesn’t tie up the happy ever after too soon. It was great to have an author treat you to insight into character ,while allowing the flaws to play into the plot nicely. Instead of being your typical hubby leaving for the youngest version yet of his wife, the hubby in question makes a stand as 5he adult who kept the home fires burning while she brought home the bacon. While the lead character admits she was a little laser focused on earning and growing her company, he does move quickly on with the divorce battle for once not being the main bone of contention. This is a character coming to realize not only life after divorce is possible it’s expected and celebrated. I like the fact that a once homeless woman finds love long thought lost as second chances abound in this story.

Gray Howard is not enjoying her summer. Yes, life is beautiful on the coast of North Carolina, but Gray’s family is falling away from her. Her mother has succumbed to cancer, her sister to her controlling and uber religious husband and Gray’s husband has taken up with his secretary. Diana Harrington’s summer sucks too, especially after Gray causes her to lose her job. With no place to sleep other than her crappy old car, Diana gladly accepts Grays offer of a place to stay. Slowly, the two women who seem to have lost everything find new life, hope and friendship together. A lovely story about the power and strength of women and their friendships
