It's a bunch of one-page comes about different subjects with different styles. Not all of them were funny, but I guess it was ok.

Sadly, this didn't do a lot for me! I usually really like these little comic bind-ups, but I wasn't overly familiar with Berkeley Mews Comics, so I knew it would either be really fun and new... or a whomp. It was the latter, unfortunately. I don't think it was so much that there's anything "wrong" with the humor here, I just felt like it wasn't trying very hard to be legitimately funny? And I saw these comics being hyped as pretty dark humor, which I tend to be a fan of, but I didn't think this was dark at all. Maybe it's one of those "it's me, not you" moments.

Thank you so much to the publisher for providing me with this ARC in exchange for an honest review!

'Sorry I Ruined Your Childhood' is a collection of comic strips inspired heavily by pop culture. I thought some were really funny and spot on. Others were a bit predictable and common. Overall, I found the comics quite enjoyable!

I would like to thank the publisher for giving me a copy of this book via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Unfortunately, the narrative of this text was not able to sustain my attention long enough for me to finish this. I hope the author can edit this a bit and work on the overarching themes.

I really enjoyed this book of quick funny little comics that I want to share with everyone I know. This would make a great coffee table book that people can just flip through. Each page had a different comic that always had a twist ending.

I got this book from NetGalley and it seemed promising based on the title. It disappointed. The comics were fine but I was confused as to the purpose of the book itself. Maybe if they were funnier, it would be better, but they weren't that funny.

Sorry I Ruined Your Childhood was a quick and easy read. I thought some of the concept art was funny and cute. All in all, I think it was an alright comic but I didn't get much out of it.

I got some good chuckles out of going through this. Silly, witty, and a little crude. This is something that makes a great coffee table book or something to give a friend who needs some cheering up. Many of the comics are ones already featured and viral on the internet but were still as humorous as ever.

This isn't something I am going to be purchasing for my library only because (and I've noticed this with many webcomics that go to hard print) it's internet availability will most likely take away from circulations.

Otherwise a funny and entertaining book!

Disclaimer: I received this through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This was so cute, and so funny. There were some unique things in here that did actually make me laugh, which I wasn't expecting. (Well my version of "laughing" at books which tends to involve either breathing out fast through my nose or snorting slightly).

I'd definitely recommend people picking this up to check out - it's fun, quick, surprisingly light.

content warnings: death, anxiety religion (so many bible jokes, they were amazing), sad robots, medusa jokes

It was boring and the title did not yield what I thought it would. I flew through the pages and only really liked 1 or 2 of them.

This book was not for me. I did not think the cartoons were funny. Many I didn't even understand. Some were inappropriate. This might be a better fit for a people young than my 60 years.

I received an ARC from NetGalley. This in no way affects my opinion or rating of this book. I am voluntarily submitting this review.

These were a mixture of some laugh out loud funny and other's charming and sweet and still other's that were not either. That may have been a generational thing more than the actual comic value of each though. I could definitely see that many were "to be appreciated" by the younger generations who use all versions of social media fluidly. Overall, this was a pleasure to go through. My son sends me a daily (and random) clip of either football in the south or a clip of a comic strip that is a good laugh between us. This reminded me of that, which definitely makes me smile. Thank you for that!

I wanted to love this one and to be charmed and entertained but I struggled with this book and I couldn't figure out who the audience is. My complaints are: 1. Each page is a new story, but some of them fall flat and would be so much better if they were extended to a few pages in length. 2. None of the stories flow from one to the next and it lacks a theme. What I liked: The art is simple in appearance and I liked it for that reason.

I want to thank Netgalley, Ben Zaehringer and Berkeley Mews Comics for the opportunity to review this ARC.

I absolutely loved these comics!! This book was full of references from the 80's and 90's; my childhood. They were simple, hilarious and sometimes even made you think twice.

I've seen quite a few of these comics in the course of my internet travels, and they are no less funny than they were the first time. While I didn't recognize every single reference, the sense of humor so perfectly matches my own that in most cases I still felt like I was in on the joke. And, of course, the art itself is delightfully playful.

Nintinder... I actually laughed out loud at many of these comics. The mister potato head one was hilarious.

These were all borderline dumb and absolutely belly laughing good. This is the type of humour I enjoy the most.

The illustrate were really simple but definitely didn’t take away from the comics themselves.

So I've read this "book" and I don't really know what to think about . I really like some pages but I found myself skimming through it rather than enjoying it . I would've loved to have these as twitter posts but I guess not as book because it bored me so quickly , plus it is so expensive considering its content .
I guess it wasn't for me and I'm so thankful that I got an early copy .

The graphics were okay. The jokes were funny. I caught myself laughing out loud with a few of them. I liked the pop culture references. Do not be fooled with the title of this book; it really had nothing to do with childhood or growing up comics. It was more of a mismatched collection of jokes.
