A fantastic universe brimming with great characters, plots and action. I enjoyed this as much as i enjoyed the first novel. Each are seperate with so you can pick either up or both in any order. Really looking forward to more of this series in the future. A must read for fans of Anne Leckie and any fan of science fiction.

Action, action and a little more action. This book reads like an old action movie in a sci-fi setting with enhanced people, cybernetics and lots of fights and explosions. Add a good plot to the mix and it will leave you with a book filled with adrenaline, but also gives you a story line you'll need to follow as their are double-crosses and betrayals possible around every corner and many different parties to remember.

As it sets off in the middle of the action and this leads to the main character, Mack's vengeful state after seeing the death of her girlfriend it took me a little while to get invested in the characters. The story kept me reading though and it rewarded me with an action filled book and likable characters who keep getting thrown into the action.

A frolicking and bloody good time, Supremancy's Bounty follows Mackenzie Flores as she attempts to rescue the woman she loves, oh, and murder a lot of other people in the meantime. A refreshing LGBTQ novel, I quickly became involved in the main character's relationship and Mackenzie just may be my favorite character of all time - funny, smart, and not afraid to snap some necks. Although this is the second in the series, it is a standalone which honestly breaks my heart, since I would love to follow Mackenzie and Jinx on whatever new adventure they go on next!

A special thank you to Netgalley for providing me with a free advanced copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion.

In a distant future away from Earth humans are supposedly at peace with the Advanced, who are genetically enhanced with incredible technology. I say supposedly because nothing is ever straight forward in this embittered war and greed and political manipulation means everyone knows that peace is a fragile thing but hope is what keeps everyone going.
We meet Mack a bounty hunter and her genius mechanic girlfriend Jinx but Macks latest hunt goes disastrously wrong leaving the pair separated and Mack set to blow up whoever gets in her way . This dear friend is no slight exaggeration because Mack is apparently the female equivalent of Iron Man only much more bloodthirsty. Prepare for mayhem, double and triple crosses and believe it or not a fabulous non stop story that is full of shocks, horror and surprisingly emotion too. I loved the characters and this richly imagined story kept me eagerly turning the pages.
This voluntary take is of a copy I requested from Netgalley and my thoughts and comments are honest and I believe fair

I did not realize that this was book until I had received my arc but it reads as a standalone, I really liked this book, it's bonkers in places but that just added to the fun, I will be reading the authors other books post haste
