This is a fun, fast paced cozy mystery with characters you will enjoy spending time with. Hope Early is a food blogger (and don't try to read this while you are hungry because the descriptions of her food will make you wish you were her friend) who also has found more than her share of murder victims since she moved back to her home town of Jefferson. She is out at the town's annual scavenger hunt when she finds the body of Lionel Whitcomb, a local real estate developer currently facing criminal charges. Not only did Lionel have legal problems, he also had two women recently arrive in town, both claiming to be his lawful wife, in addition to Elaine, his current wife. Despite her police chief boyfriend Ethan Cahill demanding Hope stay out of the investigation, she is urged on by her friend Drew, the local newspaper reporter and once again Hope is able to find the truth. Not only is this an interesting mystery, but I also enjoyed the insights into Hope's career as a food blogger and all that entails. I loved this book and hope to see a lot more of Hope.
