I enjoyed this book and found it a pleasant read. I liked the stories told but I'd have expect some more advice.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine.

I'm so glad I gave up Christmas. I have always thought it over the top and a secondary holiday, if that, for most Christians. I thought Easter was the big one, but not that I've ever seen or heard it. Anyway. Like I said, waaaay over the top. Kathi Lipp's got it right. Keep it simple, pare it down, no one cares if it's not prefect, I mean, what the heck does that MEAN anyway??!! One gift, reasonable priced, per person, a few treats in the stocking, make a decent meal, toss our some cookies and candy canes. No one needs to spend a years salary on junk which will be tossed aside before the first bill rolls in. Stop trying to impress everyone with your generosity and Christmassiness. No one really cares and it will all be forgotten by the next day or week. Her book has great ideas in it for having a happy, reasonably stress free holiday. Worth a good read!

Let's face it: the holidays are stressful no matter how prepared you think you are. This book is helpful for anyone trying to plan out the holidays in order to reduce some of the stress. There are helpful sections about gift selection, budgeting, Christmas card sending, cooking, decor, party planning, etc. Included are some helpful templates that could be reproduced if needed. It's called a planner, but it's more of a self-help book with a few helpful planning pages included. The format is laid out very nicely and organized well.

A very nice book but unfortunately not a lot of practical planning advice here. Just missed the mark for me.

I wasn’t looking for an actual Christmas plan, but hoped to find some good general planning advice or tactics and trackers, but didn’t find much help here. Not the book’s fault and it was lovely.

This book would be nice if one needs a bit of a nudge in order to be a bit more prepared for Christmas, especially if one is overwhelmed and clueless how to get organized. I did like the random tidbits of the author's own experiences, but I felt the book was perhaps a bit too basic at times and some of the stuff can be easily found online on places such as Pinterest.

If you are a bit disorganised about Christmas and don't mind a book which is geared for the American market then this title might be for you.

As an annual celebration you would think everyone involved would be super organised about every little Christmas thing clearly however, that's not the case. This book gives you a nudge in the right direction to be at least a bit more prepared, especially if you have hordes descending on you and sometimes that is all that's needed to begin a more relaxed way of dealing with what can be a very stressful time.

I enjoyed reading about the author's own experiences of planning for the festive season and although it's a bit daft felt quite chuffed that I already do some of the things mentioned!

I was able to read an advanced copy of this book thanks to NetGalley and the publishers in exchange for an unbiased review and would recommend it to anyone who wants to be on top of Christmas but needs a little assistance to get there.
