When Leah buys a Christmas tree farm on line after a drunken night she can't quite believe what she has done....... she has spent all of the inheritance from her parents on a whim without even seeing it....... still it looks lovely in the pictures and there is a house although no pictures of that! Packing up and heading to Scotland in high spirits when she arrives she is devastated she now knows why there were no pictures of the house it is derelict and all the trees around it look dead! Looking around she meets the very grumpy and condescending (but definitely hot) neighbour Noel but as he seems to have all the knowledge she is really going to need his help!

Another lovely book by this author, very warm and the sort of book that draws you in from the first pages so that you really care about the characters. I loved all of the market traders and how they all looked out for each other and immediately accepted Leah into their circle. A book that you are sad to finish but a perfect book to get you in the mood for Christmas

Unfortunately I did not get on with this book and therefore cannot rate it very highly. I really struggled to connect with the characters and storyline.

Snowflakes at the Little Christmas Tree Farm was a fab, fab book. Honestly I could not put it down I was hooked. A Christmas tree farm bought on a drunken whim sounds far fetched but it worked and was a great storyline. I loved it.

Having read previous books by this author, I was very much looking forward to reading this one, her latest release.

I loved the setting and getting to know all of the characters was such a joy, all of whom were so very well written and likable.

I was literally glued to it's pages from start to finish. It was full of Christmas festive moments, with the Christmas trees and the market, plus heartwarming and entertaining, not to mention a few giggly moments throughout the story too.

Random fact about the book, I absolutely loved the sound of all the different things that Glenda made using main ingredient of Pumpkin. My favourites were Pumpkin spice latte, Pumpkin muffin, Pumpkin pie, Pumpkin ginger jam, Pumpkin and hazelnut  bread. I'd have been visiting that market all the time in order to stock pile on all those yummy things for sure.

Anyway, if your looking for a fun light hearted and entertaining read, then you so have to read this book. You will love it just like I did.

Leah Griffiths has woken up after a few too many glasses of Prosecco with a hangover – and discovers she’s accidentally bought a little Christmas tree farm in Scotland!

At first she’s horrified, but perhaps it’s the perfect way to forget all about her cheating ex.

And when she meets grumpy (but ridiculously gorgeous) pumpkin farmer Noel underneath the mistletoe, Leah begins to believe that at Christmas time, anything can happen.

Such a romantic and cosy read with so many laugh out loud moments. Super sweet and festive read with great characters. Loved it.

This was brilliant, the whole premise of buying a christmas tree farm was amazingly fun. And watching Leah deal with everything that comes with that was great. Leah herself was an awesome character and I really found myself rooting for her as she learns what owning a farm means for her. The writing had a great flow to it and left me with a positive feeling.

Cute and perfect to help get you into the holiday spirit! Found it a little bit predictable but also exactly what you want to curl up with next to the fire, just a classic cute little romance book.

As a festive read this can't be beaten. I loved the setting and how Leah rose to the challenge. It is warmly written and fairly sparkles with Christmas cheer as the season draws near. With a great hero in Noel, the pumpkin farmer next door, the romance factor is high and there is a real romcom feel, with some hilarious villagers. Both Leah and Noel have demons to slay but it is a joyous read and you can't help wondering what happens next.

Thanks to the author for a copy of the book.

A heartwarming festive read, perfect in my run up to Christmas!
If you like Lindsey Kelk and Giovanni Fletcher I would recommend Jaime Admans for you.

Right, that's one more thing to add to my bucket list - own a Christmas Tree farm! I do love a story where I get to experience new things and learn something along the way.

Then there was Noel (scrummy) and lots of wonderful romantic tension, plus a big helping of drama. Lots of festive touches added to the Christmassy atmosphere and the whole thing was a delight from start to finish.

Who wouldn't want to work on a Christmas Tree farm, let alone own one? We've all made drunken purchases but never on Leah's scale but it proves to be a blessing in disguise to help her start to get over losing her man and her job. However, when she gets there and finds it's going to be a lot more hard work than she thought as the place is almost in ruins, not to mention the grumpy next-door neighbour Noel, who despite being sexy as all hell, knows more about everything than she does.

Still, with Noel's help, plus his gorgeous little dog Gizmo, Leah begins to rebuild a new life for herself. The romance is obvious but this is chick-lit, we expect it. We also expect there to be issues which of course there are but seeing Leah blossom, as well as the Christmas trees, is the story here and it's lovely to watch.

The opening day of the farm is just so festive and wintery, it's perfect and you can almost taste the hot chocolate as you read this wonderful Christmas tale.

A festive fun-filled frolic through Peppermint Branches with a warm, hunky Scottish pumpkin farmer.

Thanks to NetGalley and HQ Digital for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This novel is quite predictable, but then again festive chick lit is supposed to be a form of escape from the real world, and personally I think this novel is perfect for that. Lovely festive scenery set at a Christmas tree farm in Scotland. This novel made me laugh and cry; it's heart-warming and has definitely put me in the festive spirit. Would definitely recommend.

First sentence: I am never drinking again. Please tell me that pounding, throbbing sound is not coming from inside my own head. I peel one eye open and severely consider not bothering to open the other one. I’m slumped on the living room floor and propped upright by the coffee table, with my face smooshed against the keyboard of my open laptop.

Premise/plot: Love Hallmark-esque Christmas movies? Admans' Snowflakes at the Little Christmas Tree Farm may prove the perfect match for you. Leah, the heroine, buys a CHRISTMAS TREE FARM (sight unseen) in Scotland with her inheritance. She is hoping that her parents' would have approved and that this will be a true new-beginning for her. (Things haven't been all that great lately...most recently having been humiliated in "love.") The farm, well, is so far from what she imagined that there are no words. Fortunately, her nearest neighbor, Noel, is JUST what her best friend, Chelsea, imagined. HOT, HOT, AND DID I SAY HOT?! He proves more than willing to help her out, once he sees that she sincerely wants to make a go of it. Will they fall in love in the weeks leading up to the holiday season?

My thoughts: I ADORED this one. I didn't love, love, love every little thing about this one. The language in describing her ex--and WHY they "broke up"--is a bit graphic for my liking. But I loved the chemistry between Leah and Noel from start to finish. It had one super-predictable, obligatory CONFLICT that I found myself rolling my eyes over. Why do romance novels need OBSTACLES in the first place? But this one had a series of lovely scenes, a sprinkling of charming characters, and a general CHARM to it that left me grinning. I almost forgot to mention THE DOG.

Is it clean? Is it smutty? As I said earlier, the descriptions with the ex are a bit much (and they happen near the start of the book) are a bit much--for my liking. Remember SUBJECTIVE taste. But Leah and Noel's romance is neither squeaky clean nor out-and-out smut. Mostly kissing, plenty of descriptive kissing. (You know there has to be a mistletoe scene or two involved, right?!) But nothing beyond that is graphically described.

Snowflakes at the Little Christmas Tree Farm by Jaimie Admans is the best Christmas book I potentially have ever read. It's a perfect Christmas romance sure to make you feel festive during the holiday season.

They say that you should always try before you buy, looking at a house is essential before buying. When Leah Griffiths sees her boyfriend/boss sleeping with another co-worker the sensible rationale is thrown out of the window. After a few too many drinks of Prosecco, Leah has bought a Christmas tree farm in Scotland in an eBay auction, a bit more than the handbag she thinks she may have accidentally ordered.

Had she been sober, she probably wouldn't be making such huge decisions but her gut tells her this was the right thing to do. There's very little left in London for her apart from her wonderful best friend after her parents passed away. Her family connection to Scotland must have played some part in her making this huge decision and she certainly doesn't regret it.

I loved the fact that the author had clearly researched the ins and outs of running a Christmas tree farm. I felt like I was learning how to trim the trees and the variety of Christmas tree species, which I'd never really given much thought to before.

It's a brilliant cosy festive read with vivid descriptions that suck you into the story. Yes, it's predictable but it's just everything you need and more with a Christmas romance read. It's all about how you can change your life completely, it's all in your own hands. I'm 100% ready to move to Scotland and own a Christmas tree farm right now. Dream on! A highly recommended read.

Leah gets drunk one night. Really, really drunk. When she wakes up the next day, she discovers she has bought a Christmas Tree Farm in an auction. When she gets to the farm though, it looks nothing like the pictures. It has been abandoned for four years. Leah need to find a way to fix the farm or figure out a way to get rid of it, and then she meets her really hot but also really judgy neighbor Noah and his little dog Gizmo. Will Leah be able to work things out? You’ll need to read to find out!
I liked this book. It’s written in a light, funny way. The story is a bit slow in the start but it gets more engaging as you read. If you like Christmas stories, you’ll love this one for sure.

The morning after finding her boyfriend/boss in a compromising position, Leah Griffiths wakes up not only with a huge hangover after downing few bottles of Prosecco, but also as a new owner of a Christmas Tree Farm in Scotland that she's just won on an internet auction. And paid for it. £50,000, all the money left after selling her parents' house when they died.
But hey, the farm looks lovely on the pictures, right? As she has no job in London anymore, her parents are dead and she has only one best friend, there is nothing stopping her back, and really, how hard could running a Tree Farm be?
Well, it turns out it can be hard, especially as the farm has been empty for four years, most of the trees are dead/unsellable, and the grumpy neighbour Noel knows lots about trees but he doesn't believe that Leah will stay at the farm after realising how much work it needs, and after seeing that the house has no windows and only half roof left. And it's very cold and raining all the time.
But Noel doesn't know Leah and her determination. But will the determination be enough to start over? Will Leah stay at the farm?

I really don't remember when I laughed so much when reading a book. Right now I'm even not afraid to make a drunken impulse buy, honestly, even if it's of abandoned Christmas Tree Farm in Scotland - I could keep horses there! It was a read full of laughs, giggles, embarrassing but also poignant moments, brilliantly capturing the cheer of a small town and its community.

Jaimie Admans writes in a way that made me immediately fell in love with all the characters and the setting. Leah was a brilliant leading heroine, full of humour and best one - liners, often jumping to conclusions but also optimistic and never giving up. Well, how many of us would stay after realizing they have bought an abandoned and run - down Christmas Tree Farm, right? Not Leah - she was stubborn and determined and had some of the best ideas how to revitalize the farm and to keep it going, not forgetting about the community! We get to know her at a very low point, and she's also lost so much when her parents died, so she really knows what suffering and grief mean, and she has moments when she feels so desperate and lonely, but she's also so funny and so human and I was really rooting for her, wanting her to have her own happy ending.
Our lovely Leah is surrounded and supported by a great group of characters, charming, friendly and immediately likeable, brilliantly written and amusing. Some of their antics at the market were peculiar but please, do let me focus tightly on Noel. And let me swoon about Noel. Noel should have his own book - even though he had a Chihuahua and not a rottweiler, he was perfect. Noel, the usual broody and moody neighbour, the pumpkin farmer from the adjacent land, sexy, handsome, irresistible... you get the picture. With a soft side to him as well, I loved how he was around another people, his mum and dog, always willing to help but not too overwhelmingly helpful, you know what I mean? A softie but still a real man, give me him any time pretty please. Oh, be still you stupid heart, really.
The interactions and banter between him and Leah were the most brilliant parts of the book, and they were mostly my favourite scenes, so actually almost the whole book. The way the author has pushed them together felt obvious, yes, but also natural and genuine and the chemistry between them was sparklingly funny and believable.

The author has for sure researched how much work running a Christmas tree farm involves and learnt her lesson about trimming a tree or whatever it is you have to do with them. I've never realised it, I mean, you go, you choose and then buy the most beautiful Christmas tree, right, but I've never given a thought to what is needed to grow this perfect specimen. She dedicates a lot of pages to the actual work involved in farming, and it's rich in details and information but it doesn't slow down the action, oh no, it rather propels it forward, is rich in details but never too dull.

It is a fast - paced, seamlessly written, chatty and engaging read that yes, you know how it's going to end, and yes, you know there are going to be obstacles on the way, but still it is a great fun to read. Jaimie Admans's writing style is easy - going and easy to get along with and chatty and her descriptions are vivid and colourful. This novel was a lovely, romantic, atmospheric and full of snow read, right for the Christmas season. The idea of the plot was great and refreshing and there was this lovely message in it, that when you want something badly to succeed, simply go for it, just go out there and get it - it may not be the easiest thing sometimes but everything is possible. Warm, cosy and comfortable, an engrossing and hilarious festive journey about second chances and fresh starts, but also about grief, betrayal and hope, and you very quickly will fall under its spell. Highly recommended!
