This book breaks down climate change and Greta’s mission into bite-sized chunks for readers - both young and old - to understand. It’s not too lengthy, and it gives you just enough information so that you want to start doing your own research on the changes that are happening to our planet, as well as the responsibility that we have to take care of our environment.

"We Are All Greta" is an introduction to Greta Thunberg. I knew nothing about Greta outside of that she was a climate activist. I really recommend reading this book. It's a great start on understanding climate change and some basic things people can do to help reduce waste.

I have read so many Greta Thunberg books in the past year and <em>We Are All Greta</em> by Valentina Giannella and illustrated by Manuela Marazzi is one of my absolute favorites. While I do think that the title is a bit much and would have infinitely preferred something along the lines of <em>"We Stand with Greta,</em>" the thing about this book is that it sends an exceptionally powerful message. We can all be advocates for a better world. We, <em>like Greta</em>, can fight to save this planet and the people living on it.

The best thing about <em>We Are All Greta</em> is the fact that it doesn't just stop at introducing this girl and the amazing things she's been doing. It goes on to talk about how her actions are going to bring about a positive change. Then it breaks down the ways in which ordinary people can be extraordinary with their own activism. It also talks about everyday things that we can all do to further support fighting climate change and those who would pretend it does not exist for their own gains.

It goes deeply into various subjects from the politics and policy change of it all to how we can make everyday changes in our lives with things like food and energy usage. The book encourages people to make concerted efforts to fight for and enact the change that the world needs. Wonderfully informative, the excellently-illustrated book gives readers inspiration and hope for the steps that must be taken instead of simply telling us about who Greta is and what she has done to catch the public eye.

Greta is the icon for our modern times. Young people have a new role model and adults have a lot to learn. This book is a great addition to primary, secondary and high school classrooms and an ideal resource for opening up conversation on important issues like climate change.
Inspiring.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publishers for letting me read an advance copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

This is a worthy selection for those who care about or wish to learn more about the crisis of climate change and Greta Thunberg’s inspiring role in crusading for biodiversity. The stated audience is teens and young adults. In fact, the book would be appropriate in school libraries as well as public libraries, and in family libraries as well.

One of those books that I think is a must have on every single household with growing preteens or younger teens. Packed full with interesting and factual information about the climate crisis. I have to admit that it took me a while to get into as the current events had me a little distracted from my usual reading.
I’d recommend this book to anybody who is interested in the topic. Definitely get it in a digital form as this information keeps being updated and though most of it is true at the moment it will hopefully change for the better!

The first time I saw Greta's speech was a few years ago, I was shocked how such a young girl can understand such a big issue like climate change better than many adult people. It was inspiring to see her journey and the way she motivates and inspire people to change their way of thinking about this issue.
I'm glad that books like this one are written to give us a closer view of the problem and motivate people to action. Climate change is the most dangerous and accurate problem at the moment so it's important to spread important information about the issue and the possible solutions. It's a long way before us but together we can change the world.
This book is the first step to a better future. There won't be any change if we won't be informed about the issue. This book contains depth text and data on what climate change means, what its consequences will be, and what must be done to protect our world. So make the change and find out how to protect our world.

I hope that Greta's story resonates with young people agter reading this book and the men and women of power who, when hearing Greta's message through those who have read her story, begin to welcome the voices of those moved by Greta. I recommend this book for grades 4 and up.

I was unable to read the book beyond the first five pages. The download was distorted and empty. I tried to re-download, but it did not change. I would really love to read this book.

Greta is an amazing role model for young people today. I envy her drive and commitment to what she believes in. This story gives more about her life than I had previously known. Additionally, it a has similar messages in a very readable fashion. This is definitely a recommendation for all libraries - county, city, state, and school!

Every classroom and kid’s book box should have a book about Greta Thunberg and this one is a great choice. It is an informative and helpful guide to her beliefs, why she started Skolstrejk för klimatet (School strike for climate) and the global impact of her actions.

Thank you again for this book !

I'm so glad I can learn more about biodiversity, environment and climate change. It's not too long, it's perfect to understand every subject and how it's important to change some stuff to have a better planet. That made me think a lot on stuff that I need to do and we are all responsable of our planet.

This need to change now and not tomorrow.

This is the latest in a long line of books about climate change that I've read recently. I think it used illustration really well (as seen on the cover) but also the information inside is not too overwhelming for young readers. The information regarding global warming and the climate crisis is damning evidence that we should be doing more, but this book provides solutions that we should all be doing.

Overall this would be a good way to introduce children to the topic and I enjoyed it.

3 out of 5 stars!

A really interesting and informative story. There are lots of stories and articles about Greta but it's nice to read a little more about her background.

A great role model for young children about their impact on what they can do and having a voice.

➽ <b>As the topic of climate change becomes increasingly important (one just has to look at the Australian bushfires, the Jakarta floodings and many other worrying scenarios currently going on), I think it’s great that We are all Greta can be an informative YA nonfiction book providing an introduction to the topic.</b> I know myself that it can be very overwhelming getting involved, as there’s a lot of information about climate change, so having an easy to understand book highlighting the central key aspects of climate change and what needs to be done to stop it, is increasingly important.

➽ In order to reach everyone (especially those willing to join in, but unsure how to start), I feel like this book is a great starting point and overview of the different facets of climate change. I <b>like that the book is divided into short chapters that were structured very well, though I feel like at times the information could be a bit dense for beginners</b> and could have done with more examples. I liked that there was an attempt to provide fitting examples for abstract sounding concepts, but sometimes I felt like the examples themselves could have been more concrete and understandable. I also wanted more statistics and graphics, we get a few of them, but more would have broken up the texts and provided some visual stimulation. Nevertheless, I loved learning about Greta’s origin story and especially loved the tips in the very end on how you can make individual changes to your habit in order to make a change.

🌳 “<i>We are all Greta</i> was a nice overview of the impact that climate change can have and will have in our lives. Each chapter introduced a different central concept and tried to be accessible for those not as knowledgable about the topic. I’m glad that this book exists because it’s a short and good to understand book, making it easier to get involved in fighting against climate change.” 🌳

I was really excited to read and review this book for somewhat obvious reasons. However I must admit this book wasn't as good as I had expected. Though very informative and educational, I felt that for a book aimed at children this book was a little too much. There was sometimes too much information and text overwhelmed what could have been a light inspirational read.

Really nice interpretation of these serious problems.
Easy to read but a bit harder to digest. I'm aware how huge the problem is, but seeing it written on a page was a bit shocking.
I really recommend it to everyone who is interested in this topic. Youth, adults, everyone. I think it should be a MUSTREAD.
We all have to be informed about the thing that going on and the little thing that we can do. We should follow Greta, we should all participate in this battle.
