Hannah left Roarke because of someone else's evil plan. But she always thought it was Roarke's doing. 3 years have past and she still couldn't get over him. The same goes to Roarke. He always believes that they would find their way back together because she's it for him.

Got blacklisted from doing her dream job, she had to return back home. The first person she encountered when she landed was Roarke, her ex-fiance. And everything just comes back again, their chemistry, their love and their past.

The more they spend their time together, everything seems to fall in line and looking up again for them. But its not easy when their past still haunts Hannah and secrets are revealed. Will they power through their second chance at love this Christmas?

I love Roarke. I think he's a very patient man and everything he did for Hannah had me swooning!

Lisa Renee Jones continues her Texas Heat series with a sexy second chance romance set in a small town in Texas revolving around gorgeous Horse Wrangler Roarke Frost and the girl who a few years ago stole his heart and ran away with it to California.

After building her career as a photographer in California, Hannah is back in Texas wanting to launch an event planning business and to avoid her ex-fiancée at all cost. But destiny has other plans for the two. Since she arrived she’s run into Roarke literally again and again and it seems as though her first big event will include working for the man himself. Can she control her raging attraction and get past the hurt from the past or will they end up hurting each other further?

When Hannah accused Roarke of cheating, he could have defended himself further. He could have gone after her. But there were extenuating circumstances she was unaware of that would have hurt her more than him actually cheating. He therefore let her go and let his heart be shattered. But now that she’s back, he realizes letting her go the first time was the biggest mistake of his life and is determined to win her back.

Lisa Renee Jones dives into the deep end from the start with Hannah and Roarke, long before there’s any meaningful conversation between them they’re hitting the hot and steamy sheets which made me feel like I started watching a movie at the middle and never quite caught up. Even though they have no problem saying that they still love each other, their relationship didn’t feel deep. Character wise, Roarke ran hot and cold which was a bit off putting while Hannah’s immaturity was justified when she was younger but isn’t acceptable years later.

Over all, I did enjoy this story with its small town charm and endearing secondary characters. The cowboy angle was super sexy!

Tangled Up In Christmas is book #2 of the Texas Heat series by Lisa Renee Jones. It is a standalone full length cowboy romance told by both points of view with a happy ending.

Hannah has returned to her home in Texas to restart her life after things don't turn out the way they should have in California. The last thing she expects is to run into her ex-fiancé fresh out of the plane and that's a twist of fate she was definitely not looking for.
Hannah and Roarke have a history that ended bitterly and, when they have to work closely together for the benefit of their home town, the time to confront their past will only close in on them.
This was my first read by the author and it was a nice story, sweet and romantic, but I wasn't crazy about the delivery and it ended up being just an ok book for me.

I was so glad to read this early, even though I don't do Christmas books until around Christmas, but it was definitely worth the read. I absolutely love Lisa's work and who doesn't love a good cowboy romance. This was a really cute read and I definitely enjoyed it.

Thank you Netgalley, the author and publisher for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Ho Ho Ho! Santa isn't in this book but he sure did bring some Christmas cheer and a a miracle that makes snow in 70 degree weather look like a magic trick.

Tangled Up in Christmas is a jump start on the Holiday hotness. Is it wrong to say that this should almost be an advent calendar? We might need some more books in the Texas Heat series before we can make that happen. However. We are off to a good start.

Holy hotness in some Wranglers, Levi's, or whatever that man is wearing! LisaRenee Jones can supply me with cowboys any day of the week and twice on Christmas.

This second chance romance is enough to make any girl swoon. The right setting, some truth, and a whole lot of heartache before we get our Happily Ever After. But let me be clear, we get our Happily Ever After!

Bonus story....Santa, Baby

This naughty like Christmas treat is an adventure of a different kind. Santa, Baby is a whirlwind romance started by a meet cute that definitely gets brownie points for it's normal yet completely unusual circumstances. Roleplay maybe the start of something beautiful in this book but it isn't everything.

Once she finds her self confidence, this little Marilyn rocks it in the sexiest way possible.

Tangled Up In Christmas is the second book in the Texas Heat series and can be read as a standalone. This was the perfect second chance romance! I loved both Roarke and Hannah and completely understood where they were both coming from. This story was super low angst and a definite must-read this holiday season!

Tangled Up In Christmas by Lisa Renee Jones is the second book in her Texas Heat series and it was a charming second chance romance with very low angst. Hannah is back home and what she wants most is to avoid Roarke. He broke her heart and she can never trust him again, right? But now he is suddenly everywhere. Can she open her heart to him again?

I loved Roarke. He was sweet and caring and knew what he wanted. Hannah was not sure she could believe in him, but he slowly knocked down her walls. Now they are rebuilding their friendship and possibly even more! Tangled Up In Christmas by Lisa Renee Jones was a great holiday read with all the best feels.

Happy reading!

Tangled Up In Christmas is book 2 in The Texas Heat series by Lisa Renee Jones. This is Roarke and Hannah’s story and is a great second chance romance. This book is a little different from most of this authors books but she doesn’t disappoint. I loved this book and highly recommend it!!

Tangled Up In Christmas was okay.

Hannah and Roarke broke up years ago when she was sent a video insinuating that he cheated. Now years later after Hannah lost her dream job she's back home with a plan to start over and ends up running smack into Roarke. It's a lot of push and pull to get these two to see that they're perfect for each other.

This book was fine. In every sense of the word. It was fine. The pacing was good in some areas and not in others (dragging a lot unnecessarily). I felt like I was reading Hannah and Roake's love story over the span of a few years when it was only two weeks. It felt like it took me two weeks to read it during some of the scenes.

Hannah was an okay character. I didn't hate her or love her. She was just fine. Roarke for me was very similar. I don't think we got enough of his POV and I would have liked to escape from Hannah's very repetitive thoughts more than I got to.

Overall this is a fine story. It's not great. It's not terrible. It just is.

I absolutely loved Roarke and Hannah's story. Ms Jones not only captured the heart of this story but told it in such a way that you find yourself rooting for the couple. Due to a misunderstanding the two have not seen one another in seven years. The intriguing part is finding out who is behind the misunderstanding and why. A truly great second chance romance. Roarke is a man you can't help but swoon over. His determination to get Hannah back is wonderful. Hannah can't deny that Rourke is the only one she has ever loved. They slowly open up to one another and because they are older and wiser now they are now willing to talk about what happened that lead Hannah to leave. The chemistry between them has obviously never died and if anything it has grown stronger. This may be different from Ms Jones' more suspenseful romances, yet it is just as good. It seems Ms Jones is a very talented writer no matter what type of romance she is writing. I absolutely loved this book and am looking forward to more in this series.

Roarke was the love of her life. Having been engaged to him and on the verge of marriage, Hannah could not think of anything that could go wrong. Just then, a video of Roarke and a model (who was all over him!) showed up on her phone. Needless to say, Hannah packed her bags and left Sweetwater, Texas hopefully never to come back.

A couple of years have passed and Hannah is now in Dallas and starting to make a new beginning with her career as a photographer and event organizer. Maybe it was Fate but running straight into Roarke's chest at the airport was not her idea of fun. Then, running into him a month later on her first big photographer assignment was totally unexpected. Now, it turns out she has been booked to do a Christmas Festival in Sweetwater to benefit the Children's Hospital and guess who one of her bosses will be? You are correct! Roarke!!!

This love/hate/love journey is full of wit, emotions, and most of all romance! This is one of those books you will not want to put down and will not want for the story to end.

I am voluntarily reviewing this book. Thanks to the author for sharing a copy with me.

Hannah and Roarke grew up together, and her childhood crush became a relationship one summer long ago. Fairly complex circumstances that you learn through the story drove her away, and they've both unsuccessfully been trying to get over each other. When Hannah ends up back in Texas and runs into him, all the feelings on both sides come rushing back. Then she has to work with him to plan the Christmas festival.
I wanted there to be more time in the book with them together. I also wanted more devoted to the days of the Christmas festival. The majority of this book takes place in October, and I had expected more holiday time.
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

***4 Stars***

My head hurts.

It really does.

Roarke and Hannah took me on one hell of a ride. A ride I was all in for. But hot damn. The yo-yo’ing these two did just about killed me ~ though if it had, it would have been my own fault because I kept turning the pages to see what would happen next, but I needed to see just how everything would work it self for Roarke and Hannah in the end.

I really liked Hannah and Roarke. Roarke is a good man. Compassionate, passionate and determined. Hannah is sweet, creative and motivated. But when it came to their second chance at love journey...OMG they drove me batshitcrazy ~ Hannah more than Roarke in all honesty (wishy washy people drive me insane and considering I’m a Libra and am well versed in wishy washy it says a lot) ~ but they both definitely had their moments, in the past and the present. Thank goodness for their friends, family and just the nosy as all get out people of Sweetwater for making both of them see the error of their ways and finally get on the same page, because even through everything I knew that they were it for each other.

This one was definitely a rollercoaster of a ride, but worth it in the end. I loved catching up with Jason, Jessica and Martha and loved meeting Ruth ~ who was so much fun! I’m crossing my toes that we’ll get to spend a little more time in Sweetwater because there were a couple of interesting moments that I think could develop into a whole lot more!

I have read other books by this author and have not been disappointed, and the same can be said for this one. My only issue is not even with the book but in me and the timing of when I started reading this book. I was a little (well maybe a lot) busy and spent many evenings reading a chapter or two before bed.

Roarke and Hannah were madly in love for a time until they were ripped apart by forces unknown to Hannah. Now, years later, she has to return home and is soon enough thrust back into Roarke’s world. She is a photographer and when a friend gets injured and can not make a shoot she sends Hannah in her place. While shooting Roarke and the horses, it transports her back to their summer of love. When a horse gets spooked and Roarke moves Hannah out of the way, “the sting” can be felt through the pages.

While watching him with the horses, Hannah starts having all the long buried feelings rise up again and they start to confuse her on where she stands and what she needs to do. Roarke does anything he can to try and keep Hannah, but fears once she finds out what happened years ago that she’ll leave him again.

I did like the fact that it was a slow build to their HEA. It is filled with joy, hope, understanding and is the perfect read to get you in the Christmas spirit.

I received this as an ARC for my honest and voluntary review. ARC provided by Netgalley

Tangled Up in Christmas by Lisa Renee Jones is book two in her Texas Haet Series. For best reading experience I recommend to read the books in order. The previous book is The Truth About Cowboys and is set in Sweetwater, Texas, just like Tangled Up in Christmas.
Hannah is a successful photographer and back home for good. She starts over. New home, new job, new life.
And there's Roarke Frost, her nemesis. They grew up as neighbors and had a teenage crush on each other. The busy horse whisperer and best friend of Jason share a past.
TUIC is a slow burn, a sweet story from Sweetwater, TX. I liked the story and the characters. 4,5 beautiful stars.

Holy cow! When I first read the blurb for this book along with the title, I was thinking it was going to be a light hearted, mushy, sweet Christmas story. But it is more than that. I could feel the anguish coming off the pages for Hannah and it some parts Roarke. The pain, loneliness, and vulnerability she felt hit me so hard. I am not sure if it is because of my current mindset or my emotions all over the place right now in my own life, but Hannah's feelings are so powerful from the very beginning. I loved Roarke throughout this whole story. He never wavered in his love or feelings for Hannah. He pursued her and reminded her of their powerful love. Then together they healed, realized what was most important, and fought for their life together. Happy heart by the end of their beautiful story!
