A second chance romance with a little Christmas flair.
Roarke and Hannah grew up together and eventually formed a relationship, until one day everything changed and Hannah left. Years later she is back in Texas and back in the town she grew up in.
I fell in love with Roarke when he was first introduced in The Truth About Cowboys and was super excited to find out he was getting his own story. The horse wrangler does not disappoint when it comes to romance and steam! He wants another chance with Hannah and this time he is willing to fight for her and let her know the truth about what really happened the first time around.
Hannah left Sweetwater broken hearted, but she is back and more mature. Of course, the moment she lands in Texas she runs into the last person she wants to see, Roarke. I loved Hannah and Jason’s relationship; she was truly like a baby sister to him. I loved that she instantly become friends with Jessica. Plus, the grandmas. Who doesn’t love them?!
I loved Roarke and Hannah’s relationship. These two had chemistry like there is no tomorrow. I loved how they bonded over their love of helping animals. They work well as a team both with the animals and as a couple. Of course, there are some secrets between them that need to come to light.
If you’re looking for an ultra-steamy, small town, cowboy filled Christmas romance then this is one book you’ll want to read this Holiday Season!

I am usually not a fan of holiday reads. I tend to find them cheesy. I really enjoyed this holiday read, not sure if it was the cowboys or the Texas small town feel. This book in my opinion can be read alone or is even better after reading book 1, The Truth About Cowboys. I liked how the characters blend together to make the story flow nicely. I can't wait to read future books in this series.

Didn’t love this book. Hannah is immature and unprofessional. The entire plot of the book could have all been avoided by Hannah asking a few questions.

Tangled up in this heartwarming story! 4 stars

I was tangled up into this second chance love story from the beginning, and I liked Hannah right away. Roarke has secrets, and it kept me reading pages until I could find out. When the secrets did come out, I loved that there wasn’t much angst about it! So refreshing! Roarke and Hannah have sizzling chemistry together, and I was rooting for them so hard! I felt Hannah’s pain about what she thinks Roarke did in the past, and I admired that she took the time to learn about herself while they were seperated. Roarke was such a genuinely good guy and trying to do the right thing, but he was hurt with how Hannah treated him in the past. They both had wounds that needed healing before they could truly be tangled together again and have their happily ever after. This was a heartwarming, second chance love story with a holiday theme that I would recommend.

I received a copy of this ebook from the author for my honest review.

Poignant love story of a couple who were almost cheated out of a warm & loving relationship
Sensitively told story of a couple who separated because of someone’s mischief, only to have a steamy second chance. Can Hannah and Roarke reconcile? Will secrets keep them apart?
Hannah is coming home since her boss got caught up in a scandal in LA. She didn’t want to fight her way back into society’s good graces again. Her meet-cute with Roarke, her former fiancé is amusing but she has another just as funny. Why does she seem to hate him? What happened to cause such animosity?
Roarke was her babysitter when she was a kid six years younger than he, but is now her former lover. He is also a famous veterinarian and a YouTube sensation as The Horse Wrangler. There were several great moments, like chapter 10 in the restaurant, handholding. The narrative had steam leaping off the page! Another when Roarke asks them to play Jason Aldean’s song, “Girl Like You” for her birthday. And lastly, one of the best endings I’ve ever read. If you like steamy second chance stories get this book. I volunteered to review an ARC of it and comes highly recommended.

A second chance Christmas romance.

Hannah left Sweetwater and ran to LA when she found out her fiancé, Roarke, cheated on her. When her career in LA is threatened, she moves to Dallas and ends up taking a job with Roarke’s best friend. Of course that leads her to Roarke and she can’t deny that she still has feelings for him. Roarke can’t believe that he might have a second chance with Hannah.

Although the storyline is good, I just couldn’t get into the characters. It just felt like there was something missing from Hannah and Roarke’s connection. It seemed that every time they were just going to get into the heart oh why they split the first time, Roarke was called away for a sick animal. Hannah seemed to get over his cheating pretty quick after seeing him when it made her run far away When it happened.

I received an early copy courtesy of Entangled Publishing through NetGalley in exchange for a honest review.

Hannah returns to her hometown of Sweetwater, Texas to run a Christmas festival after having lived in California for ten years. The last thing she expects after landing at the airport is to walk smack dab into the man who broke her heart ten years earlier.

Roarke has loved Hannah for ten years. He’s tried to move on with other women, but he can’t get her out of his head or his heart. When she runs into him, literally, at the airport, all he wants is a chance to talk to her. Unfortunately, his flight is getting ready to take off, so he misses his chance.

Luckily for Roarke, the fates seem to be watching out for him. He and Hannah run into one another again at an event involving an old friend of theirs who is a Major League Baseball player. Roarke lost Hannah due to a misunderstanding once, but he is determined not to let, what he believes to be a second chance, slip through his fingers! But the question is, will Hannah listen to him?

Tangled Up In Christmas was one of my favorite holiday romances to read so far. It had 3 of my favorite things: Holiday romance, Texas setting, and Whataburger!!

Lisa Renee Jones wrote a magical second-chance romance about forgiveness, hope, and love. I loved reading about Hannah and Roarke. The author did a great job and giving us insight into their past life together, the time apart, and the present.

Hannah is a photographer who left her small-town to pursue her dreams and escape her past relationship. After years of being away, she comes back to town and sees Roarke, her ex and the man she loved with her whole heart.

Roarke is a Youtube sensation as 'The Horse Wrangler' . He is a country boy who is great with animals and saving them. He is still heartbroken over losing the woman he swore he would marry. Fate thinks he deserves a second chance because Hannah walks back into his life. She still takes his breath away and vows to never let her go again.

I thought this was such a hopeful second chance about two people who truly loved each other. These characters were easy to love and root for. I knew me and Hannah would be best friends after she declared her love of Whataburger, a Texas staple!!

Overall, I give Tangled Up In Christmas 5 stars. It was a joy to read and I loved these characters so much. Lisa Renee Jones did a fantastic job of hooking me in and making me fall in love with the story. A perfect read if you love small-towns, second-chances, and charming characters!!

Lisa Renee Jones infuses holiday magic into this sexy and emotional second-chance romance, Tangled Up in Christmas. Roarke and Hannah were good friends growing up and then lovers on the brink of marriage, until Roarke broke her heart and decimated their relationship. She fled their small Texas town for Los Angeles, California, but she’s returned years later and starting a new career. She’s still angry and hurt, so when she’s compelled to work with Roarke, it’s a messy and complicated situation, especially because neither stopped loving each other. Their feelings and passion leap off the page as they reunite and face their painful past, but Roarke has secrets that he must reveal for him to convince Hannah to open her heart again. You cannot help but adore these two and their heartfelt, feel-good romance.

I love a sweet second chance romance and this one is all that and more. There is even a bonus holiday story included which was wonderful. This is quite a diversion from all of the other LRJ books I’ve read but it certainly is a beautiful one. Roarke and Hannah are simply amazing and lovable characters. They were always meant for each other but circumstances and a huge misunderstanding tore them apart for a while but now they have a second chance. I love these characters as well as some of the secondary characters in this wonderfully entertaining love story. Hannah and Roarke have unbelievable chemistry and so much in common. It was a pleasure to see them finally find their HEA. I look forward to more in this series!

Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC.

Roarke and Hannah were meant to be. Life and people tend to get in the way of love. Roarke and Hannah had a rough go in the beginning but love prevailed. This was a wonderful second chance romance!! I definitely recommend this book.

Lisa Renee Jones is one of my go to authors and she did not disappoint me. I loved this second chance romance. Roark was so sweet, and He and Hannah never got over each other. This book kept me hooked from start to finish.

This was such a great book. The writing is as phenomenal as ever. I loved Roarke and Hannah. Roarke is a terrific guy. He’s sexy and sweet. Hannah is sweet also. She’s been betrayed in the past but it wasn’t by who she thinks it is. This isn’t a sappy Christmas story. It flowed easily and I couldn’t read it fast enough. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Tangled Up in Christmas is the second book in Lisa Renee Jones` Texas Heat series and a wonderful trek into Sweetwater, Texas. A second chance romance, this story wraps the reader up in the passion, drama and the light-hearted moments experienced by Hannah and Roarke. Delightful secondary characters, believable world building and the heart-warming and emotional journey of this engaging and troubled couple, all combine to draw the reader in from the very beginning. I’m so looking forward to the next in this series.

Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for an early copy of this book.

This was a bit of a surprise, as it was a second chance romance. LRJ doesn't typically do second chance romances, but I enjoyed it. Had some secrets, some mystery, and a lot of LRJ flair.

All the feels and so much more are in this one. Even if you didn't read the first Texas Heat book you will not be lost with this one and I recommend you read it NOW! Hannah has returned to Texas and immediately upon arrival at the airport she runs into her ex-fiance. Roarke. Not long after, Hannah fills in for her friend at a photo shoot and runs into him again along with Jason (from book 1) and Jessica who hire her for event planning the Christmas Festival in Sweetwater. Oh, to go back home where it all began and all fell apart. So many tangled lies woven to separate them but Roarke still loves Hannah and Hannah never stopped loving Roarke even though she was hurt and ran. Now after a hot night before returning home, can they find their way back to each other without hurting each more? So, so good! This one can be read as a standalone but I really recommend both books!

Ooh. Second chance romance. One of my favourite genres. Add in hot cowboys, and I’m a gonner. I adored sexy horse wrangler, Roarke Frost, he pushed all my buttons, sweet and sexy with a heart of gold. Who it seems has been carrying a torch for Hannah for the past 7 years. That’s not all. There’s that huge secret that he’s keeping from her, and he has no clue how, or even if, he should tell her. Even though Hannah thinks that Roarke cheated on her back in the day, she still can’t find that special someone to even remotely make her forget Roarke. A light easy read with a few little twists. Highly enjoyable, I’m just loving Sweetwater and all it’s residents. I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. This is my honest review.

I'm really digging this series. It had been a hot minute since I read LRJ before starting the Texas Heat series. Honestly, I think she pulled me in with the hot cowboys.
A little drama and tons of feels, mixed with a quirky grandma and a small town, TUIC has all the makings of the perfect guilty pleasure. I always end each book already in love with what will come next.
