I'm not into poetry but I'm into cats and that's why this book caught my eye ... plus I've read a couple of this author's books and thought they were cute.

The poems are "written" by cats and are grouped into three categories ... on one's own, one-on-one, and one too many. They give you insight into what your cat is thinking and why they do what they do. Plus there are lots of colour pictures of gorgeous kittens and cats.

This is a quick cute read.

Really cute book of poems centered around and told from the POV of cats! I loved the cat pictures that accompanied the poems, they made me want to bring all of them home! I honestly feel like many of the poems were themed around my cats and how crazy/lazy/lovey they can be. A fun, quick read!

I am a dog person but this?! This is so much my personality as much as I want to ignore it. And reading this hilarious yet lines that do speak a lot of truths makes me actually aware that I am an introvert that can relate so much to that of a cat's behaviour.
This short book of short lines and cat pictures simply amazed me.
I love this one in particular:
'Books
I can lose myself
In a novel
I can be absorbed
In a short story
I can be immersed whole
In adventure
In history
In romance
And mystery
I can see now
That I'm stuck behind your bookcase'

116 pages filled with cat poems and real cat pictures!
Seriously, why cannot I love cats more?
I do realise I don't need to because I am a cat inside.

Thanks #NetGalley for providing me this copy of #AllCatsAreIntroverts

All Cats Are Introverts by Francesco Marciuliano is a delightful poem collection about the introverted nature of cats. Most of the poems are funny and/or aptly depict cats in all their feline aspects. Don’t expect the most epic of poems, some are rather formulaic, going one way, then ending with a twist, but one doesn’t buy this kind of book for the epic poetry. As a cat lover (I’d love to say “cat owner” but I’d be lying, since my cat totally owns me) some of the poems were very relatable. Being rather introverted myself, some also felt quite relatable to me as a person, which was kind of the point of this collection. The poems are interlaced with beautiful cat photos, those alone make this little book worth your while. Overall, a fun little book that I’d recommend to cat lovers everywhere!

A new book of poems about cats. I loved I could Pee on this, so I was looking forward to reading this and I loved it just as much.

If you are a cat lover, like myself, you will laugh out loud and nod and say to your cats, yep that is you. And you might find yourself reading some of them out loud to your cat. At least that is what I did.

Although the poems are about cats, they also resonate into the introvert human. They reached a place inside of me.

And I also loved the beautiful cat pictures.

Francesco Marciuliano’s feline poets are truly gifted. In his introduction Francesco explains that cats, who have been labeled ‘antisocial’, ‘unfriendly’, ‘uncooperative’ or just aloof, are just really introverts.

What follows in All Cats Are Introverts is a collection of poems that generate laughing out loud as readers move through the pages. For instance:

In this latest collection, Francesco continues to share these amazing gems, written to incite laughter and lighten every reader’s mood. This author’s work is especially appreciated by individuals who live with cats.

This book contains beautiful photos of cats. I enjoyed this aspect of the book very much. The written content is poems told from a cat's point of view. My sense is that they are meant to be funny. I did not especially enjoy the poems although I can see what the writer is trying to do. If you are a cat lover and you read this one, please let me know what you think. Thanks.

Francesco Marciuliano just gets it. He gets cats, he gets introverts, and he most certainly gets introverted cats. These poems, highlighted with bright and beautiful photographs of cats doing their cat thing, are hilarious. I was actually laughing out loud through this book, so that by the end I was nearly in tears. This one has earned every one of the five stars I'm giving it!

An intriguing collection of poems supposedly composed by cats accompanied by beautiful photographs of cats that compliment the context of the poem. The poems are quirky, funny, gross, snarky and totally express the vibes that come from your favorite cat. The poems are an adorable peek inside the cat and human lifestyle. It is an enjoyable book sure to leave a few smiles and guffaws behind as you read through it.

This was so good! I laughed out loud more than a couple of times. Almost every poem starts out so serious and artistic as you would expect from poetry but culminates in really funny and witty punchlines. Cats would like this as well.

I enjoyed reading All Cats Are Introverts because I felt like it resembles them perfectly. I’ve ways loved cats and believed that they show their love in their own way. The poems that Marciuliano wrote are relatable until the end where he throws in a twist that is written frim a cat’s perspective. That part always threw me off because it was just a little jarring and sudden.

Did I make squee noises while looking at all of the gorgeous pictures?
Did I laugh like a crazy person reading the poems?
Did I give my own feline companion the side-eye, question what they’d been doing with their spare time, and have an in depth discussion about their possible financial contribution to the household? (The reply was an a clear mrrwwmrow-ow)
Did I then proceed to follow the author on every social media ?

Mrowwwommmrrrrp (says the cat)
