Leni was abandoned by her sick mother and clearly her father wasn't interested in her and has been living comfortably and happily with her adoptive parents. Things are a bit tight and her father has health issues but they are doing what they can with what they have. Then in comes Nick letting her know that she is an heir to a fortune. To get the details straighten out she must have a dna test and talk to some people who can get things straightened out she has to go with Nick to NYC.

This was a pretty cute contemporary book. I thought it was interesting seeing how things played out for Leni. She could've let the riches that were coming her way get to her head. She could've changed with everything that slowly was getting revealed and it was interesting seeing how things played out. Then there was the clear attraction that was brewing between Nick and Leni. Nick has his hang ups and really isn't interested in getting close to anyone. I enjoyed getting to know these characters and seeing how their past impacted who they were today. Overall this was an enjoyable read for me and recommend you lovely readers to check it out.

Sweet Quick Read

With most books like this one you go in knowing what to expect and that was why I wanted to read it. I wanted a sweet romance with a happily ever after. This book did not disappoint. Overall I really enjoyed the characters and their romance. I would consider reading the other books in this series.

This was a nice, sweet & fluffy story to pass the afternoon with likable characters. More of a fairytale theme as others stated, but a welcome change for those of us who are into mostly heavy reads.

Eleanor "Leni" Long is working as a waitress, trying to help her family make money after her father was injured on the job. It's a hard life but she loves her town and her parents, especially since she knows she was adopted.
Nick Kourakis is not someone who belongs in a small town. He's an investment banker and New Yorker all the way. But he's here to help his friend find three heirs to a billionaire's fortune... and Leni might be one of them. He convinces her to go to New York with him to see if she is potentially going to inherit a fortune all while keeping it under wraps so that she doesn't get mobbed by paparazzi and people looking to take her money from her. While all of this is happening, Nick is by her side the whole way.
The story was fine but I didn't really connect with either Leni or Nick. She was too sweet; he was way too angsty for it to be solved in this short a book. This is a Harlequin Romance so that's not unexpected and regular category readers may not mind that as much.

This one really wasn't for me! The writing style was okay for the most part, but I had a hard time getting into the story and believing it as it went. It was quick to read, which was nice, but it didn't really have a lot more that appealed to me much as a reader.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. I loved reading two points of view. Its s nice to know what both parties are thinking. It was refreshing to see two genuine characters getting to know one another. There were plenty of trials and tribulations to keep even a seasoned reader interested. Will there be love , or just a happy rich heir? You will have to read to find out.
