Jessica Kate can write. This story was fun, charming, full of laughter, and also serious when needed. It was an easy and quick read, and had me wanting more at the end. A Girl's Guide to the Outback will be a romance novel I come back to time and time again!

Be still my heart! I adored this book so much! This one has been on my TBR since it released. I was finally able to get to it, and what a joy this book was to read! To be honest enemies-to-lovers isn’t usually my favorite trope, but I absolutely loved the way this author wrote it, so good! I’m a sucker for an Australian hero (and if they happen to be a pastor that’s even better!) so I knew I was going to love Sam, but I wasn’t expecting to fall completely head over heels in love with him the moment he strode onto the page in his Captain America costume, but from that moment on I was a total goner!
Kimberly was awesome and I loved getting to know her! I found myself relating to her quite a bit, and I loved that she wasn’t some spoiled princess but instead jumped right into helping out on the dairy farm!
I also loved Jules and Mick, and I adored their story equally as much as Sam and Kimberly’s!
This book is hilarious and super swoony, but also powerful with a beautiful faith story that touched my heart!
A Girl’s Guide to the Outback is everything I want in a Christian romcom and I absolutely loved every minute of it!
I’m sad that I have now read all of Jessica Kate’s books to date! I know she is working on a new one, and I want that like ASAP because I need more Jessica Kate books in my life!

A bit slow but verrrrrry humorous! Not a typical read for me but I am glad I gave both the book and author a try!

I unfortunately didn’t get to read this one but i do love Jessica Kate and there is no doubt in my mind that this book is not only hilarious but a wonderful rom com.

I love stories where the characters hate each other but fall in love, and I especially love the "opposites attract" trope. This book was really funny and interesting and I had a hard time putting it down.

Love any light stories set outside of the US. This didn't dissappoint. The banter was entertaining, I didn't realize it was heavy on the Christian Romance, which was fine, but that was my only complaint.

I hadn’t realized when I started this book that it was a Christian romance, but that was fine. The book felt slow to me at times, but overall I enjoyed the back and forth between Sam and Kim. I did get lost a few times and had to go back and reread parts. This book definitely reinforced my wish to go to Australia though!

I enjoyed this book but it wasn't for me. I liked the story and characters but sometimes they just frustrated me because I found that they went back and forth a lot. It's a matter of things could have been resolved easier if they just communicated better. But I did find this book pretty funny so there's that! :)

I really enjoyed this book! I could not put it down. I needed to keep reading! I enjoyed the love story as well as the setting. It was cool learning about Australia while falling in love with the characters!

A Girl's Guide to the Outback is a cute, sweet, and funny read. Somehow I missed the fact that it was a Christian romance (I know, I know--clearly I didn't read the blurb very carefully, or maybe at all?) but for the most part the story just gives gentle nudges toward listening to God and following His will rather than trying to suffocate readers with a specific set of views or beliefs, which for me was a relief. Even though Sam's a pastor, most of the book takes place on his family farm where one's faith rather than religion is the focus; I honestly often forgot it was an inspirational romance half of the time ;)

I liked both Sam and Kimberly, though it's good that we get both of their POVs here, because they really do have a problem with communication for a lot of the book. We barely get to see the two of them sharing an office, since that part of the story's over practically before it begins, but it's hard to imagine how they could have worked so closely together yet still not have a clue what was motivating the other or what their true intentions were--it takes them ages to finally sort all of that out, which was frustrating at times. Ms Kate does do a good job of showing how paralyzing their fears are, though, and allows them to work through them, giving us a very sweet HEA in the end.

The secondary romance between Sam's sister Julia and her ex, Mick, was a lot of fun as well--I almost wish they'd had their own book, because things inside Mick's head could have been a lot of fun to see as well.

Plus, puppies. Who doesn't want to read more puppies? :)

This was the first time that I read a book from this author, and I have to say that it was indeed very light hearted and charming story. It was very refreshing read, since I don’t think I have read a Christian/spiritual rom-com yet. I figured that there won’t be much of a “romance” in this book, other than kissing and that was okay with me. I really enjoyed the whole enemy to lovers theme. I also loved the characters and I fell in love with Kimberly and Sam. The whole setting in Australia was definitely the best part of this book. The author did such a great job bringing in the Australian culture in this book with the accents and Australian words, I just loved it. Overall, this book made me smile a ton and I definitely enjoyed it!

Unfortunately, not for me, it was a bit too slow but I didn't hate it.

Would recommend for fans of small town romances or Hallmark movies.

Being Australian and reading this fish out of water comedy was actually rather refreshing. To be honest I did not realise at the beginning that this was a Christian romance. I tend to avoid the religious story lines but I read this anyway and I did really enjoy it. It seems that this genre is coming up everywhere lately, my Amazon Prime is swarming with movies that are the same.

Hilarious, swoon worthy and chaste. This book was a great read, even for an Australian who hates how we are perceived at times.

This book is such a fun and sweet read! Jessica Kate has a true talent for creating characters that so easy to connect with and relate to, as well as a story line that is completely engrossing. Sam is trying to do his job, but he is the complete opposite of his coworker, Kimberly. Their personalities could not be more different from one another. This gives him the little push needed to decide to go home to Australia to help his sister. Sam is not prepared for Kimberly to follow as she needs him on their ministry project and she is willing to help out his family in return.
I absolutely loved this story and the setting! It made me feel like I had jumped on a plane and followed Sam and Kimberly to help save the farm and fulfill the duties with the ministry. I am eager to see what this author writes next!

A Girl's Guide to the Outback by Jessica Kate is such a fun read. I read the first book by this author last year and did not enjoy that book very much. I was interested in seeing how this book was, being that it was set in the author's native country Australia. And I'm so glad that I did! This book was ten times better and I absolutely love the characters and the witty dialogue. I think readers of this genre will love it, too.
