Thank you Harpercollins UK and One More Chapter and Netgalley for the advanced copy of this and apologies for the delay in reviewing - work gets in the way!
Oh my, glad I'm now married and I didn't have many one night stands!
This certainly kept me hooked from the start and to the end and loads of twists and turns - what a great book. First book I've read by this author and hopefully not the last.
Highly recommended

Talk about a wild date. I thought I had some wild dates in my online dating days. It was nothing compared to poor Ivy's one night stand.

Ivy wakes up to a man in her bed. She thinks Oh snap, what did I do. Then she realizes oh crap he is dead. Oh no there is another one under the bed. Yeah talk about dates from H#&%! What comes next is a crazy ride through the past and present as we try to figure out exactly what happened. It was well told and kept me reading. That makes it a solid 4 star book in my opinion.

Thank you Netgalley for the opportunity to preview The One Night Stand by Carissa Ann Lynch.

What happens when you wake up from a night you can't remember, you are sleeping next to a man you don't know, and by the way, he's dead.

Ivy, a single mother who enjoys to have a little too much fun finds herself caught up in a mind bending mystery. The plot lays out Ivy's life in a timeline and you begin to understand who she is, why she does the things she does, and why she's in her current predicament.

well written and will keep you turning the pages - 3.5 stars.

This was a really good read, it’s full of twists and turns throughout and keeps you on the edge of your seat. The plot was great, the characters were interesting and the style of writing was perfect. It’s an very easy read and you get into it straightaway. With a excellent twist at the end which you don’t see coming. This is the first book I have read by this author and I’ll be keeping my eye out for more in the future. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys reading psychological thrillers.

A fast paced thriller with a satisfying ending. Divorced mum Ivy wakes up to find a dead stranger in her bed and another under it. Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.

I did enjoy this book, although I did need to re read a few bits and use the search key on my kindle.
The first chapter gripped me, which is always a good thing.
The characters and POV were ok, mostly, but I wasn't enamoured.
I did like the tension and in the end it made sense.

Awesome read!! Thrilling book that was impossible to put down.. I read it as slow as I could to absorb every word and make it last as long as possible!

Thank you to Netgalley for my copy in exchange for an honest review.

I wasn’t sure what to think of this concept. It seemed unoriginal, but this author spun it so well. An absolute nightmare come true! Can’t recommend it enough!!!!!!!!!!

How can a one night Stand Possibly go wrong.

Waking up to a complete Stranger in your bed, not Not only is he a stranger but hes a dead stranger. And you have no memory of how he ended up in your bed..
And then there's the corpse under your bed...

Ivy has, Naturally a past a shocking one .that and little-by-little you get to learn more about the people in her life and how they're related.

This Story is like a slow Burn
Building up to the twist and wow what a twist because I never saw that coming...
I never imagined who the killer was..

I definitely recommend this book
I would give this book 8 Stars if it was Aloud.....☕☕☕☕☕

This book was told from multiple POV's which was confusing, however, you do find out why all the characters were necessary at the end of the book. This did take a while for me to get going on this, in the end this just wasn't my favorite, however it was well written and thought out.

All in all this was a good read but at times I felt it got a bit confusing , that may have just been made though. I will certainly read more books from this author.

I wanted a book which was fun and fast with some thrills and suspense thrown in. This book clicked the requirements. My first book by author Carisssa Ann Lynch, the story held my interest until the end.

Ivy woke up next to a strange man and he was dead. She found another dead body under the bed. The premise of two dead bodies was so bizarre that I had to read the book at one go.

Told in triple timelines, and boy was it confusing at times. My mind got tired going back and forth. But it was the presence of two dead bodies in the bedroom with Ivy having no recollection of it which caught my attention and kept me going.

There was family drama to lay down the foundation of her life. Ivy was not very likable. I was sure she had a lot of enemies. The plot line was stretched, the characters were right there in the frame without much of a development, but I couldn’t escape my inner curiosity to know who the DB under the bed was. I had heard of monsters under the bed. This was just of a different kind.

I couldn’t guess the motive or the killer; they were buried deep until the last few pages dug it out. I wouldn’t say it was the most engrossing of reads, but I was quite curious to get to the final reveal.
