Maybe I've been reading too many 'meet-cutes' lately, but I was absolutely refreshed by this story. Rosie and Dominic Vega are soulmates, high school sweethearts, #relationshipgoals... until they're not anymore. Ten years in love and these two are in need of a relationship rehabilitation. This is their story.

I received an ARC from the publisher and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Love Her or Lose Her was my first married couple romance and, I'll be honest, I wasn't sure how it was going to go. Weirdly, it ended up with me wondering about my own marriage and analyzing the way my relationship with my husband works. Not exactly the outcome I expected from a romance novel, but not entirely unwelcome either. Let me explain...

This book wasn't perfect, but that's because the characters weren't perfect. I think I was crying ten pages in and frantically texting my romance-loving friend about how ridiculous I was being because the characters were fighting. And not, like, sexy pre-sex "I'm pretending to hate you" fighting. Like, really fighting and breaking up and I wanted to curl up in a ball and toss the book against a wall.

So it was weird. Instead of the relationship starting hot and heavy and ending with some drama Love Her or Lose Her started with more drama than I could handle and ended with warm fuzzies. A backwards experience, to say the least, but I didn't hate it.

Rosie and Dominic are a typical Tessa Bailey couple. They love the dirty talk, they have fiery tempers when challenged, and they are entirely devoted to each other. The passion was off the charts but, despite the fact that the hot sex is usually my favorite part of Tessa Bailey books, I found myself flitting through the sex scenes to get to the parts where Rosie and Dominic were working on their relationship outside of the bedroom. So weird. Especially for those who know me. And I loved that it wasn't just Dominic who needed to appreciate Rosie more (like I thought it was going to be), but rather the two of them who needed to work on loving each other more which was much more exciting than watching Dominic grovel for an entire book (which probably would have just made me feel bad).

The therapist was, minus a few good points, absolute shit--I have my doubts about his credentials--but some of the things he said struck home in my own relationship and weirdly have struck a match in me to put more effort into my marriage. Rosie and Dom were fictional characters, but the struggles they experienced were more real to me (as a married woman) than the issues that characters in romantic suspense or historical novels have ever faced. So...if there was any part about this book I didn't like, it was just that it made me uncomfortable with the reality that I've gotten too comfortable in my marriage. Sorry, if that's too much... but I think that's why the book was such an emotional read for me (so be warned married peeps).

People might not like this book (in fact, I've read a couple of reviews to that effect), but I think that's because it's different from what we might have grown to expect from the explosive-sex, plot goddess Tessa Bailey. It's just as good, but in a different way. And I didn't mind it one bit actually, but I already knew that it was going to be a divergent from her usual stuff.

For so long I haven’t read so sweet, meaningful, poignant, emotional, romantic book pushed me make so much” awwww” sound, fill my eyes with happy, smiley tears, warm my heart, ring into my ears a lyrical, hopeful love song and give me the biggest reason to do my happy dance (as a change I mixed my Travolta-Beyonce moves with Swayze, Despicable me minions-Rosie’s imitation with her mouth fulled with marshmallows inspired me- and walk like Egyptian moves by creating weirdest dance type on the earth!)

My final decision giving this book 5 stars (4.5 rounded up) I unhappily cut my half star because at some parts stubbornness, blindness to see her husband’s affection levels of Rosie made me pissed off and earned her small and quick slaps, strong shakes on her shoulders!

It was one of my quickest read. As soon as I saw my email and check out my NetGalley shelf, I saw this shiny, beautiful book winks at me and calls my name and I was drawn into it mumbling: “Your ppppreeeciousss!” like Gollum finally found her ring! So I started to read and cut my connection with the outer world, hired private chief to cook for us and waiters to serve my Chardonnay and send the bill to my sister in law who is banging on the door now as I pretend not to hear that by listening death metal at maximum volume! So my isolation and focusing on book problem are automatically solved.

I loved this couple and Dominic is everyone’s dream husband. He’s loyal, devoted, sexy, passionate, trustable, hard worker and he’s pushing so hard to make his wife happy. Rosie is also adorable and their undeniable, hot, pant melting chemistry as a couple is amazing. They grew up together. As Dominic left her love of his life for serving for his country, their love endured against the war, traumas, long distance, emotional suffering and harsh realities of the world.

But slowly they drifted apart, they lost their dreams, they lost themselves and as they were about to lose each other completely, Rosie felt like she fell out of love with her husband. As soon as she left him, Dominic opened his eyes and realized one more time he made wrong decisions about his priorities in his life and now he was determined to take his wife back even it meant too much groveling or something worst like: ACCEPTING TO SEE A HIPPY MARRIAGE COUNSELOR AND APPLYING HIS UNCONVENTIONAL METHODS TO TEST THEIR MARRIAGE!

So they took a journey to their past to realize how they fell in love at the first place, how they meant for each other and they started to know each other from the beginning. Now Dominic is falling in love with his wife over and over again! ( Dominic’s letter to his wife so breathtaking and tear-jerking, even a robot could start to cry or tear up his metallic pieces to show his sorrow after reading it!)
They danced again. They skated again… They became the high school lovers who fell for each other again…Going back helped them to going forward and planning a proper future for their relationship!

I love those kind of dysfunctional marriage stories as the couples begin to question what they did wrong and slowly when they found out their faults, wrongdoings, they got back together stronger by discovering new truths about themselves and their relationship. So as long as I read the blurb, I knew I will love this book so compassionately.

I didn’t read Georgie and Travis’ book but Bethany and Wes already took my attention because of their witty dialogues and frenemies to friends story theme. So I think I am not gonna wait for 2020 fall to take a piece from their stories. I should read it ASAP!

I already start to add other books of this author on my tbr list. I am specially thankful to her because this year so many good authors was so far disappointed me with the romance releases. Even though this book is going to be released on 2020, it still gave me hope next year is going to be so much better and this author put a big smile on my face with her heartwarming story which I fully appreciate it!

Thanks to NetGalley and Harper Collins Publishers to send me this entertaining, swoony, amazing ARC COPY in exchange my honest review.

YAAASS!!! I CAN'T BELIVE IT! AFTER 6 MONTHS OF READING BOOKS THAT HAVE BEEN EITHER 4 STARS OR LOWER (AND A LOT OF THOSE WERE LOWER) I FINALLY, FINALLY READ A 5 STAR BOOK!!!

I was legit at a place where I thought I'd never read a book and fall so completely in love that it would be a 5 star, a perfect read for me. But I'm so, so happy that "Love Her or Lose Her" gets to be the book that broke my 6 month drought.

"Love Her or Lose Her" is about Rosie and Dominic, a married couple who have been together since they were in middle school and two people we met in the first book "Fix Her Up". I fell in love with Rosie and her quiet strength in the first book and reading this book only made me fall more in love with how awesome she is. And Dominic...my god did this guy steal my heart away. I swear, I think I cried no less than 5 times while reading their love story because I just could feel how much they loved each other and the angst of their marital troubles was killing me and I just fell so much in love with them. I needed them to be happy and whole together again but the angst was so deliciously slow burn, I couldn't stop reading and I really didn't want to stop either. This book shows the couple really working to fix their relationship and falling in love all over again, one step at a time. Neither person is perfect and I loved being able to watch them work through their issues both individually and together as a couple. There was never a moment in my mind where I didn't know with absolute certainty that Rosie and Dominic belonged together and were soul mates.

Something else I loved about this book? The DIVERSITY. We have Rosie, who is biracial: Half African-American, half Argentinian and we have Dominic who is Puerto Rican and we get so much details about their culture. It's not just a passing thing where it's mentioned once that they aren't white and never talked about. It's in the details of the way they look, we learn about their families and growing up in a predominately white neighborhood, and IT'S ON THE COVER. This cover means so much to me and the fact that the content in the book matches that just meant even more. I think I can count on one hand the amount of books I've read where both the hero and the heroine were POC and I was incredibly happy that Tessa Bailey added that to this book.

This book also has such great friendship and girl power scenes! We get to see Georgie and Travis being so freaking cute together, Bethany and Georgie and the rest of the Just Us League kicking ass and being so supportive and great together. I appreciate how there is no girl hate in this book and how these women are in each other's lives to life one another up and support each other. And there's also the Travis/Dominic/Stephen friendship which was equally amazing and had me cracking up more than once.

I can't believe that out of the very few books I've rated 5 stars this year, I get to say that not only was "Fix Her Up" on that list, but this book as well. Finally, a highly anticipated read that lives up to my expectations! Fans of this author's books will fall absolutely in love with this original read and fans of romance books will certainly gobble this up!

I was looking forward to reading this book, the description & cover were great but the book was not at all what I was expecting. It was definitely more erotica then romance so I really think they need to advertise that better. The relationship between Rosie & Dominic was confusing and concerning. The author made an effort to make Rosie a strong independent woman but her husband's character was dominating & borderline abusive. I felt a strong woman wouldn't have put up with his behavior and that no woman should think it's ok.

This is starting to become one of my favorite authors and I want her to write faster...lol.
It was so good I was anticipating this one since I finished reading the first one and I wasn't disappointed I'm here for more!

I'm always surprised that there aren't more romance novels about marriages in trouble. There's guaranteed history and chemistry between the characters! Love Her or Lose Her was particularly well done. Rosie and Dominic were high school sweethearts, but barely speak to each other these days. When Rosie leaves, Dominic panics and says he'll do anything to get her back, so Rosie signs them up for some last ditch couples therapy. Their emotions felt valid and Bailey did a good job exploring those feelings.

What a sweet sequel to Fix Her Up! I think that it must be really hard to write a romance about a couple who is already married, but Tessa Bailey did an amazing job. In addition to revisiting all of the characters we fell in love with in the first book of the series, we are also introduced to a few new characters (including a hilarious hippie marriage counselor with a preference for threesomes).

If you haven't read the first book, you should (although you won't be missing anything if you read these out of order). Most of us in long term relationships can empathize with what Team Vega are going through. Not only do they find love again, but they also find themselves and start turning their nebulous future dreams into reality. This was a lovely read; highly recommended!

What happens after the Happily Ever After?

Rosie and Dominic are childhood sweetheart who have been married for 10 years. The routine of life and the day-to-day actions of simply going through the motions has slowly eroded their relationship. Their lack of meaningful communication and her unfulfilled dreams has prompted Rosie to move out.

Rosie proposes couples therapy before she gives up completely. By analyzing how they each convey love, either through words or deeds, they begin to slowly rebuild what they have lost. They start to really see each other for the first time in years.

With Tessa Bailey you always get the bold and raw sexy, but in this book she acknowledges the challenge of writing about an unraveling marriage and how a couple finds their way back to love. The theme of rebuilding a marriage is authentic, relatable, and done well.

All the women from the Just Us League are back along with their men. Wes, a new character is introduced and I cannot wait for Bethany to hook up with him in the next book.

Thank you NetGalley and HarperCollins for the ARC

Diverse characters + married romance + learning to communicate = falling in love again. Tessa Bailey does a wonderful job of writing a married couple who love each other going through difficult times and actually "working on their marriage."

Love, love, loved!! In Fix Her Up, we meet Dominic and Rosie. Rosie joins the Just Us League with issues in her marriage with Dominic. I wasn't expecting a book with them so soon, but as soon as I saw it on NetGalley, I screamed. I love Rosie and Dominic. Rooting for their marriage to work is no hardship. Tessa Bailey does it again, with a fun, intriguing, and heartwarming story. I CANNOT wait for Bethany and Wes' book to come out!

A sweet story about second chances. You don’t often get romances where the characters are already married. To each other. Rosie and Dominic have been together since middle school and married for ten years, but they’ve pretty much stopped communicating outside the bedroom. (Inside it is another story. That’s not the problem.) Rosie has finally had enough and tells Dom she’s leaving him, but when he begs for another chance, she’s surprised that he agrees to extreme couples therapy. Will it be enough? Are they worth saving?

Readers of Fix Her Up will recognize many familiar faces in this book, doing their best to help Dom and Rosie reconcile or move on. An emotionally satisfying journey.
