Original and intriguing plot. I found the characters to be well developed and sympathetic. I would recommend this title.

I completely misunderstood the premise of this book when I chose it. I am not into fantasy reads so I am not the intended audience. I thought this was a thriller. I was completely interested in the character Reynilda, who is abused by her parents until a genie showed up. The characters were set up with certain flaws but then when they found wealth and power they were suddenly different characters. I found that took all the interest out for me since we all know money does not suddenly make horrible selfish characters nice and caring. Anyway, I do appreciate the opportunity to read this book and I am sure it will find the right audience.
