PROS:
•  Very easy and fast to read. I think that by now, it was made clear that I am a slow reader.  But when I have the chance to read fast, I am very happy because that means that the writing is perfectly fitting me, thing that happened with this thriller. I had found myself to just fly through words.
• Kept me confused and asking myself questions almost all the time. This was not, at least for me, the kind of thriller where things let you guess very easy who did it, and mostly why. No! I was made to think and to question anything and anyone, even to put the sanity of the main character at question. If this is not a PRO for a thriller, then I don't know what it is.
• The ending. Though in my opinion, the ending would have been more proper for a romance novel, or something like that, I can still see its role and I eventually realized that the main character got what she deserved.

CONS:
• I realize that actually, I don't have any! Very well done!

OVERALL THOUGHTS:
• Seeing that I don't have any CONS, you may ask why I didn't rate this book 5⭐. Well, it's because though I loved every word and page from it, it didn't WOW me. It didn't made experience drastic changes of feelings or to whisper under my breath OMG. But, as you can say from my PROS, I do consider this thriller a very well done one, with realistic characters and dynamics. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to start read thrillers, or is already at the beginning of it. Even for experienced thriller readers, because this one can be very easily dropped into the easy and fast reads category.

This was fast and intense read and one I enjoyed. Claire wakes up with no memories from before her car accident and has to rely solely on friends and family to fill her in. She needs to know the truth about the accident and what happened before but who can she trust? You may think you have it figured out but the ending twist will leave you stunned. I highly recommend this book.

Thank you to HQ Digital and NetGalley for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This psychological thriller rests on a premise that has been done many times before - and although it is decently written, it's nothing that hasn't been done many times before. Suspense and tension are included, but I found the flow of the story very disjointed. Maybe this was meant to reflect the state of the main character, struggling to come to terms with her amnesia and the shards of memories that slowly come back, but it made reading more of a chore than a pleasure.

The great thing about stories that center around memory loss is the manipulation of events to suit the plot. There was a lot of potential for this story to veer off course but nothing came to fruition. Although most of the story arcs that were introduced were not abandoned, it was equally disappointing to discover that they simply fizzled to a conclusion. Claire's dark side, Aunt Tegan, Paul and Gaby, the impending divorce: these arcs all had the possibility to take the reader in an unexpected direction but it felt as though the writing held back, playing it safe. It would have been fun to see this story take an unexpected turn.

Claire Wright was injured in the same car accident that left her father in a coma. She knows what everyone is telling her, that she is a famous ballerina, she is beautiful, she is married to Paul, but she knows none of this as she is suffering from amnesia. Everything is a blank and when she looks in to the mirror, she only sees a stranger. She needs answers to her past, but who can help her…her husband, her friend Gaby, or her mother, Angela? But where is Angela and why hasn’t she arrived at the hospital? So many questions and no answers. When her father wakes, will he have answers for her or will she be even more confused? An intriguing amnesia story with a slightly gothic mood. I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation for an honest review. (by paytonpuppy)

Edge of your seat thriller. Everything seemed so out of place with this book, you won’t know who to believe. That’s what made it even better. I wasn’t sure who was yelling the truth and who was lying until the last few chapters.

Overall, I felt this was a good psychological thriller. The mystery starts with Clare who has lost her memory and how she tries to make sense of the confusing world she now lives in. This book certainly took some twists I wasn't expecting but at times I found it hard to understand the actions Clare chose to take, even given the circumstances which may mean someone acts in an unusual manner. Overall, a good read to pass the cold and rainy days we are now moving into.

"Her Perfect Lies" is one of the best books I have read in a while. Every so often the reader is thrown into another situation where the lead, Claire, doesn't know who to turn to or who to trust.

After Claire and her father's auto accident, Claire has lost her memory and is told conflicting stories by her husband, the police, her doctors, and her father and mother. Claire also is having nightmares that continue to increase in intensity.

Claire's husband, Paul, is cold and distant (unless he HAS to act) toward her. He brings Claire home from the hospital. Of course, nothing is familiar - but the only straight talker, she thinks, is the housekeeper, Nina.

Eventually Claire's dad, Tony, is released from the hospital to stay with her and Paul. They have a large "mansion" and the room for Tony. Claire also hires a nurse and a physiotherapist. Her dad 's spinal cord damage from the accident has rendered him essentially unable to walk.

Claire's mother, Angela, (who most people think would be away for a week to help her aunt) - has yet to come back to London. Why doesn't she leave her aunt in care when her husband and daughter obviously need her more? What really is up with Angela?

Lots of twists in this story that really hold the reader's interest. The characters are well depicted (even if you do not like them) and the plotline is gripping!

A MUST READ!

Many Thanks to HQ Digital and NetGalley for a great read.

I feel this book could have easily been 100 pages shorter. It went on too long and it started off interestingly but the story dwindled to a bore.

Her Perfect Lies is a gripping psychological thriller that will have you hooked from the start.

A young woman Claire wakes up with no memories of her life after being in car accident with her father. She is shocked to discover she lives in a mansion with a room separate from her husband. Claire struggles to find out who is she … aren’t you a collection of your memories? Her house doesn’t feel like home, and her life doesn’t feel like her. What will Claire find out as she tries to figure out her past? Did she awake to a nightmare?

I would recommend this book to anyone who loves psychological thrillers. Her Perfect Lies is a refreshing novel that will you leave you longing for more.

Her Perfect Lies is well written with lots of suspense and tension so why the three star review? Well this plot has been done so many times. I love this genre of thrillers where someone has completely forgotten everything but if you’re going to write this sort of book you need it to be something that hasn’t been done before. I must have read at least 7 books the same.

If you haven’t read anything like this before then pick it up you won’t be disappointed! But if you have then I’d stay away.
