Received an E-ARC from NetGallery in exchange for an honest review.

This was an easy and good read. Claire woke up in a hospital with no recollection that she and her dad had a car accident and no recollection of who she was at all. She had zero memories and she tries to find out who she is and how was her life before the accident. While she’s trying to put the pieces back together in her life, she comes in conflict with herself on what to believe and who to trust. I enjoy this psychological thriller and I didn’t expect the outcome it had, however, I’m not giving this book 5 stars because I think it fell short when we found out what really happened. I was expecting more and it didn’t delivered the way I was anticipated. 4 stars from me.

I really enjoyed this book.It starts out with Claire waking up in the hospital with no memory. Her father is in ICU also because they were in the same accident together. Claire doesn't know who she can trust because she gets different stories about her past from everyone. The storyline is very interesting but it is slow going in parts of the story. I think the ending could have been better also. However it is a book that will keep your attention and is very enjoyable.

Thank you Net Galley for allowing me to read this ARC for my honest opinion.

WOW! I didn’t see that coming! So many twists and turns in Her Perfect Lies written by Lana Newton. Interesting characters all with deeply hidden secrets. Claire wakes up with no memory and can’t trust anyone. Couldn’t put the book down - highly recommended this chilling thriller. #HerPerfectLies #NetGalley

From my point of view, this plot had a lot of weaknesses. Woman wakes up in hospital bed with no memory. Good starting point but it went downhill from there. Although she doesn't remember her former self, she apparently was a self-absorbed, wealthy bitch. When she asked her housekeeper a question, the woman told her that was the first time she had ever spoken to her. So, why did she suddenly become a kind person? Would a memory loss completely change one's personality? Her husband greets her homecoming with cold aloofness, and then suddenly changes over to a loving husband for no apparent reason. The villain of the story created a false narrative that made no sense since it was obvious his dirty deed would be easily soon discovered. In my opinion the author manipulated the story by use of lazy, cheap red herrings in order to achieve the ending she wanted.

Thanks to Net Galley for allowing me to read and review.

So I really enjoyed this book and was VERY invested until the very end when I saw the end coming. I just didn’t love the ending at all. Still very enjoyable and I will definitely be recommending to many others but maybe the ending just wasn’t for me. I would definitely read another book from this author. Very well written.

Great book! Suspense and mystery. Claire wakes up in the hospital. She can’t remember why she’s there. She has no memory of her husband or anyone. Her dad is also in the hospital in intensive care. She finds out they are there because of a car accident. Now Claire must try and remember what happened.

An entertaining and gripping book that kept me on the edge till the end.
I liked the style of writing, the fleshed out cast of characters and the well crafted plot.
It's the first book I read by this author but won't surely be the last.
Recommended!
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine.

If you lost your memory who do trust to be telling you the truth. Your husband? Your best friend or your parents? This book is full of twists and revelations. The author teases you with trying to work out who is telling the truth and who is actually trying to keep their secrets hidden and I raced through this book to find out the true story of what happened on the day our protagonist lost her memory. People aren't always how they appear and it shows how much a person can be influenced by other's opinions. There's also a touching sadness in this book and I really felt the emotions alongside our main character. A wonderful read.

Claire woke up in the hospital after a car accident she was in with her father. A father she can’t remember, Claire is suffering from amnesia caused by this accident. She can’t remember her parents, husband or even her loyal dog. Claire feels like she is living a life that isn’t her own and now has to try to regain the memories that seem to be slipping through her fingertips. As she starts digging into her past, she finds out more about her life than she ever bargained for.

I enjoyed this novel a lot. It was an easy read and the twists of the thriller were great. I did have an inkling about what the ending was going to be, and even though I guessed early on in the novel I still felt succumbed to the story line. I do wish Claire had stood up for herself more. She started to feel like a stereotypical woman because she was letting her emotions (love) control what she did about the secrets she uncovered. Although I did like the “one year later” ending, there were a few questions left unanswered for me, but overall the ending wrapped up the book nicely. I would definitely recommend to someone looking for a quick thriller read.

What a story plot! Claire is involved in an accident that leaves her remembering absolutely nothing about her life or the people in it. As her father, husband and best friend try to guide her back to who she is Claire is confused as to who she can trust. On top of other events that occur in Her Perfect Lies this was an exciting read!

Her Perfect Lies
Personally I don’t know what I would have done if I lost every single of my memory. Starting from ground zero, however, having loves one lie to me because they think they are protecting. This storyline was great and original as we know most psychological thrillers all seem the same these. I rated this book a 3.5 because I feel like it has potential to be great.

What I liked:
- It was a easy and fast read
- Really liked the new Claire (thoughtful, caring and loving)
- Liked trying to figure out who was the bad and good guys with Claire
- I like the relationship that Claire had with her mother and brother

What I didn’t like:
- Claire easily believed in everything and everyone
- Things Claire should’ve questioned she didn’t for example the international calls (don’t want to say to much)
- There many situations that dragged on and on. Situations that should have more time, I only a glimpse.
- Wished I got more of Claire and Paul (if the ending it going to be romantic)
- Wished I got more of a backstory of Gaby and Paul

I hope to read more from Lana Newton. I would recommend this book for someone is looking for a fast read psychological thriller.

This book kept me in my toes and pushing for Claire to figure it all out. Newton creates an atmosphere of tension that as a reader I really enjoyed, Her writing style kept the story developing nicely without overly complicating the story. Enjoyable read.

Her Perfect Lies by Lana Newton - great book that I devoured in a couple of days. Suspense drama around a family torn by secrets and deceit all ending in a grand reveal. Must admit I suspected the wrong person for quite a while. Well written and kept me on my toes. Well done Lana - look forward to your next book.

I found this book very interesting. So, Claire wakes up in the hospital with no memory. All she knows is she is married to a man named Paul, a doctor and her father was with her in a car accident. She goes home 2 weeks after the accident to a gorgeous home but finds her husband distant and cold. When she leaves the hospital, her father is still in a coma. Eventually he wakes up but she is told that he has spinal injury from the car accident and would be wheelchair bound. Detectives come and they tell Claire that she was in the back seat of the car. Nothing makes sense and she suffers from nightmares as she tries to regain her memory. Her amnesia is so stressful. Then, there is her friend Gaby who tells her that her marriage has some issues and her mother is away and calls her from where she is, taking care of her aunt. Nothing makes sense. Slowly, as the book progresses to about 60% of the way in she begins to find clues to what is going on and her memory starts to slowly come back. The end had a real twist to it that I didn’t see coming. I finished this book in a day because it was an easy read and I couldn’t put it down till I knew the ending. I highly recommend this book if you like a book that is a psychological thriller filled with mystery, twist and turns and filled with suspense. I want to thank net galley for this ARC I received for a honest review. (less)

billed as a psychological thriller, with the always interesting premise of waking up in the hospital with no memory, this was really disappointing to me. The plot was weak, the characters undeveloped and we could all see where this was leading 20% into the book.

Waking up from a terrible accident with no memory must be horrible. Having to rely only on your instincts about people, especially with the trauma of an accident, injuries and drugs. Add versions of the story that don't seem to add up.
Claire is in tough shape, remembering nothing after a car accident. Her surgeon husband is acting strangely, her father, who was driving the car is injured so severely, he will never walk again and moves in with the recovering Claire.

Things get more confusing and tragic.

I wasn't crazy about any of the characters but it was intriguing read. I did figure out the back story which was ok.
The ending was a bit predictable. 3.5 stars, but I rounded up.
