I absolutely love Kenneally's Hundred Oaks series, so when I was approved for this ARC I was super excited! Four Days of You and Me was a fun light read about Lulu and Alex and their relationship over the course of high school. The twist was we mostly only see it on the one day a year the school does a class trip. Were they perfect? Of course not. Are there some unrealistic things that happen? Of course! It's a work of fiction. If you are looking for a fun, light YA book then you should check this out! Thank you again Netgalley and the publisher for the ARC!

Once I started Lulu & Alex's story I had a really hard time putting it down. I loved how their relationship grew with them. And how their time apart really helped them appreciate what they had together. It reminded me of my first love and what that felt like.
I adored Lulu's friends, Max & Grace and I liked how other friends were brought into the equation as they grew up. I also loved the family dynamics and I felt that they were considerably real. My parents were very strict about my curfew like Lulu's but I also had friends who had a very lenient curfew like Alex.
I enjoyed seeing them in different travel spots like New York and London and even Six Flags. I think Kenneally did a great job of describing these places and looking at it through the lens of the characters.
The part of the book that I didn't really like was Lulu and her crafting her graphic novel and already getting picked up by a publisher at 18. I don't know how realistic that would be. I think especially in that genre that you would have to be a really talented artist to be picked up that young, just my opinion. I understand that it did give Lulu her direction as Alex had baseball.
This is a great teen romance novel. I liked it a lot!

It was a very sweet romance novel. I do enjoy the authors previous work, however this one just wasn’t for me! I do think ya romance readers will love it though!

"Four Days of You and Me' as the title indicates describes only four days but in the span of four years. It's a love story about Alex and Lulu who start out as rivals if not enemies. With time passing we meet them every year on the 7th of May when together with their class they go on a school trip. When Alex and Lulu finally realize the chemistry that connects them the relationship turns out to be an on and off one. Being still in their teens they seem to be scared of getting their hearts broken but each time when they're apart they suffer even more. It's a book about love that has to overcome fear and everyday obstacles, love that teaches us what's the most important in life. I really enjoyed the fact that it wasn't another fairy tale about love, instead we read how things actually work in real life. I also enjoyed the open ending which is exactly how life goes on. I've read it at one go.

Miranda Kenneally has wrote another great book and it was one of my favorites. I loved that it took place in 4 days with bits of the year in between. The relationship between Lulu and Alex was so adorable even with the ups and downs. Also Max was such a great addition I feel everyone needs a Max in their lives. Can't wait to read her next one.

The plot kept me interested and the characters drew me in from the start. I loved how the story was told broken down by each year in high school for Louise and Alexander.

I absolutely loved this beautifully written story about two young teens who "grow into" love with one another over the space of four years. At 15, LuLu is ready to experience her first kiss - but there are so many good-looking candidates in her freshman year. Who would have thought that Alex - her arch rival and thorn in her side - would be the one to capture her first kiss, and ultimately her heart?

I loved the realism in this New Adult novel. Lulu tries to remain true to herself and fight for her own needs, even though being in a relationship with Alex is heady stuff! The words "charming" and "sweet" kept popping into my head during those initial courtship scenes between Lulu and Alex.. For most of this book, I had a huge smile on my face - such a great cast of characters: I loved Lulu's friends and family! And - bonus! we also get to tag along on all the school excursions, the trip to New York and London. Kenneally did a fabulous job of describing Lulu's impressions of these two major tourist destinations. I stayed up until 4 in the morning, glued to my Kindle - cursing myself for not starting this one as soon as I'd received it. (But all play and no work might leave you jobless, right!?!)

Miranda Kenneally is a gifted storyteller who gets better with each novel. Her characters usually have one central trait or goal that drives her outlook on life and informs her decisions. Kenneally's characters are real, flawed young people who try to find a balance between love and their aspirations for a good career. <u>Breathe, Annie, Breathe</u> was one of my favourites, but <u>Four Days of You and Me</u> has now toppled that first place position! What a truly enjoyable read: it was not all smiles all the way through, of course, but you just know that these young people will face what life has in store for them together, despite any obstacles of time and distance.

I highly, highly recommend this heartwarming novel, from one of my favourite authors.
