Another lovely book by this writer and it is great to be back with the characters from the previous books. Warm and inviting the Cosy Kettle draws you in and you care about the characters and that leaves you with a Christmas feelgood feeling

A Christmas Wish and Cranberry kiss at the Cosy Kettle is the third book in the Cosy Kettle series by Liz Eeles, and yet again the author has managed to knock this book out of the park.

This book is Becca’s book, and if you’re familiar with the first two books then you would have seen Becca go from a girl who was crippled by anxiety, to the women we see as the manager of the Cosy Kettle, and it has truly been marvelous to watch.

But I will say in this book (like the previous two), there is always one character that I dislike from the first time we meet them, and that is Becca’s sister Jasmine, to me she is an attention whore, no wonder Becca struggles to come into her own.

As in the all of the other books that Liz has written, Cranberry Kisses has a beautiful story line that just flows off of the page and into your heart!

I didn’t realise this was part of a series when I requested it and don’t have the previous books to be able to catch up

A lovely read especially coming up to Christmas. It was well written making the reader connect with the plot and the characters. I have read a few books set in cafes however including Christmas makes this one stand out more. Will look out for more books from this author.

This book didn’t seem like a right fit for me, I’m not sure why and for some reason I just couldn’t connect with it, maybe I read it at the wrong time and I just couldn’t get into it.

Running from heartbreak, twenty-five-year-old Becca has moved to the cosy village of Honeyford. Living with her best friend Zac in a little stone cottage, and serving mince pies and steaming gingerbread lattes at the Cosy Kettle, is the perfect escape from her past.

But starting over isn’t always plain sailing, and Becca’s shyness is holding her back from making her mark on the café. To make matters worse, her crush on blond-haired, blue-eyed local heartthrob Logan gets stronger by the day – but he can barely remember her name. So as the snow starts to fall in Honeyford, Becca has one big Christmas wish: to completely reinvent herself. Becca dreams of bringing the Cosy Kettle success and finding romance with Logan under the mistletoe.

As she gets a makeover, cosies up to Logan over mulled wine and plans the most festive celebration the café has ever seen, Becca wonders why she waited so long to step out of her comfort zone… Zac, on the other hand, thought she was perfect before – always caring for others – and he misses the quirky girl with the bright blue hair.

When Logan turns out to not be all he seems, Becca is left wondering if he’s really the one for her. With her party plans also going awry, can Becca save her beloved Cosy Kettle in time for Christmas? And has the key to her happiness been in front of her all along?

Even though this is quite a short story and I could see where it was headed, I really enjoyed this heartwarming book

A Christmas Wish is the third book in the Cosy Kettle series and I was thrilled to receive a copy because I read the first book in the series and it was a 5 star review for me.

Unfortunately, this just didn't capture the charm of the first book. The main issues were that the whole story was obvious just a few pages in, so the other love interest was of zero interest because you knew she wouldn't end up with him. This time around the characters were also not all that likable and it was hard to feel connection.

Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC for an honest review.

This is such a cosey book.

The characters are really relateable and it's really well written.

I love Becca and I would absolutely love to visit the Cosey Kettle and have me a gingerbread latte (my favourite).

It's a shame so many people fall for the more outgoing people in life. But in a book it is so good to have a background character who comes forward (Zac) as well as the obvious heart throb (Logan).

Review:

I am a little behind on my review for this book but when I realized it was a series I knew I had start with the first book. I loved this series so I recommend reading the first two books but you don’t need to to enjoy this story. I will put the titles at the end of you would like to check them out.

This book follows the path of Becca, the shy, nervous girl who suffers from bits of anxiety who is trying to come out of her shell and make some changes to better her life. As with the other two books there are definitely some great laugh out loud moments.
I really enjoyed watching Becca grow while she made choices she would not have in the past, and mostly loved that as she grew she realized somethings shouldn’t change.
A real feel good romance novel to take you away from the every day hum drum of life and give you a laugh or two!

Great instalment of the Cosy Kettle series. Really enjoyable to catch up with old characters and new. Really enjoyed learning more about Becca and her family. Maybe slightly predictable in its premise but it’s a formula that works and isn’t dull.

Thank you Netgalley

This book was a brilliant read and one that is perfect to escape for a few hours and loose yourself.
Characters that fall out of the pages of the book and make you fell apart of the story, the setting is lovely and captured well with words.
A great read. that I would highly recommend.

Becca has moved back to her cozy little town and is now living with her best friend Zac in a little stone cottage serving mince pies and gingerbread lattes. Becca is very shy which is holding her back from making her mark. In the meantime, she is crushing on heartthrob Logan. She trades in her bright blue hair and her relationship with Zac to be with Logan but Logan is not all that he seems and Becca thinks she has made the wrong choice. She tries to make all things right with the Cosy Kettle cafe and her relationships before Christmas. This was a cute little cozy mystery. Thank you to Net Galley for an advance reader’s copy. This was a good, light mystery. Warm and enjoyable book.
