Follow Me by Kathleen Barber delivers a tense and chilling read that I could not put down for a second. Ms Barber is a new to me author, but one who will certainly be on my radar moving forward.

Told from the alternating perspectives of Cat, Audrey, and the voice of a stalker known only as 'Him', we are introduced to social media darling Audrey who boasts over a million followers on Instagram. Cat is her long suffering friend, who has alway existed in Audrey's shadow and seems to harbour some very dark secrets. When Audrey moves to DC, she relies on Cat's friendship to help establish social connections in a new city. But when a stalker enters Audrey's perfectly curated world, their identity remains a mystery, with any one of her old or new acquaintances becoming viable suspects.

This one had me on the edge of my seat, and kept me guessing until the very end. Highly recommended.

Many thanks to NetGalley and Simon & Schuster Canada for this fabulous ARC.

Audrey Miller is obsessed with social media but is somewhat naive into what might happen if the wrong person follows you. When she posts about moving to a new city to a new job her obsessive follower becomes more aggressive their interactions with her. Kathleen Barber introduces the perfect amount of characters that may or may not be Audrey's stalker that it will keep you guessing to the end. This is a perfect cautionary tale of what happens when you share too much of you life on social media.

Follow Me is more than a 5 star read.

I reached that conclusion very early and by the end I was wishing I could add a few stars.

I really dont want to give much away about the book other than Audrey has over a million followers on social media and posts everything. Red flag right there.

I suspected everyone in the story several times over.

Did not guess the ending.

I must apologize to my dog, I should have walked her first because once I started Follow Me , I could not put the book down.

DONT MISS THIS ONE !!!!

Thanks to Net Galley and Simon & Schuster Canada, Gallery Books for one of the best reads I have had in a long time.

I was a fan of Kathleen Barber since reading Are You Sleeping, so I was thrilled to get my hands on Follow Me. I have to say, I enjoyed Follow Me even more than Are You Sleeping.

Follow Me is fast-paced and will have you hooked from page 1 . If you're anything like me, you'll have suspicions about every character in the book as to who is stalking Audrey. Trust me when I say you won't have it figured out until Barber reveals it to you. Despite the protagonist being quite unlikable, you'll still be rooting for her in the end.

Follow Me was a pleasure to read and I will be recommending it to friends and family!

Thank you Net Galley, Simon and Schuster Canada and Kathleen Barber for the opportunity to read Follow Me. This book is about a woman who has made social media her life. Nothing goes unreported, pictures that are filtered to perfection, videos orchestrated to bring in more followers and followers that become stalkers. This was an exciting, suspenseful and creepy book to read. The characters were wonderfully developed and some you loved while others I instantly didn’t like. Each chapter has a different character as the narrator so you get multiple views of the story, which I thoroughly enjoyed. It is well written and kept me reading until the wee hours, unable to put it down. Some wonderful twists keep you guessing. It is a scary but honest look at how much we reveal on social media, even the things we don’t realize we have shown. It left me nervous and definitely thinking hard on what I put out into the world. I think any person of any age would enjoy this book and will stop and take a look at social media in a different light.

If you love the book You by Caroline Kepnes, then you will love this book. It's about a social media Instagram star who has over a million followers and also has a stalker. I love how I thought I knew who the stalker was, and I ended up being wrong, making this book not predictable. I liked all the characters, and I finished the book within 24 hours. I loved it and look forward to more books by Kathleen Barber.
