I’m going to start off by saying yes, this book was predictable, but did that stop me from reading it? No, did I still enjoy it? Of course. I love a good love triangle book. there’s just something about them that I love so much. It was a laugh out loud rom – com
Halle is a hilarious character, but she does something awesome. She makes a blog where she makes cupcakes inspired by book covers. She’s only 14 and has this amazing idea. She has to move in with her grandfather after her grandmother passes. She has an alter ego named Kels and she is funny, I like her. There were some moments that she had been through that made me shake my head and say why but that is what made her more intreating to me because I wanted to know what she was going to do next because I never knew.
There is a minor plot twist that makes the book more interesting imo. after I had read “said” part. I couldn’t put the book down. I needed to know what was going to happen.
One if the things that I liked in this book and in any book really is text and email’s that get sent back and forth and the author shows what is being said instead of just saying they texted or emailed. I also liked the character growth that Halle went through

I loved this and was not disappointed!
I love how the love story wasn't all the focus and we got to know her family members quite well.
I also love how inclusive this book is, not shame for being gay.
The writing was perfect for this book. Not childish and I didn't feel like I was reading an adult novel either. I could also feel the main character's anxiety the whole time which is relatable.
