Anyone But Cade by Penelope Bloom is a hilarious second chance romance. It will make you laugh and you won't be able to put it down till the last page.
Loved it and Highly Recommend it to all readers.
I enjoyed how off the wall Cade was and Iris was the right woman for him. They complimented each other's crazy in the best way. Cade reminded me of another character by Penelope Bloom, but they were different enough that they could have been best friends. It was a good story.
Cade's story was everything. Funny, laugh out loud scenes. A great lighthearted read that didn't disappoint. A great addition to this series. Can't wait for more!!
Perfect read. Well written with the perfect amount of character development.

I wasn't able to read Anyone But Cade in time to give a review, I am giving it 3 stars based on the synopsis.
What is this book? Like seriously, WTF is this book? Not one did Cade become a redeemable human being. He was a total unapologetic egotistical arsehole throughout the book and I could not stand him.
Iris on the other hand just practically jumped in his lap and forgave him for sabotaging her scholarship. Every word that came out of Cade's mouth was appalling, yet Iris ate it all up, and I wasn't buying it.
Do you mean to tell me that this woman, inserted herself into this man's life just because of a child? he has so much money that he can afford a caretaker and he also has his brothers to help, yet for some reason, it made sense for her to be the one to offer to help? Yeah, nope. Not buying it.
This book was a boring mess and I did not care for it.
I enjoyed Cade & Iris's story. Good characters. This was an intriguing & fun book. I received a copy of the book. And am voluntarily leaving a review.
Oh, Cade, can you ever be serious even for just a minute? Lame, poorly-timed, usually not funny, jokes and comments don't always land well to lighten the moment or hide his nervousness that he'd never admit he had. It's one of the reasons things were messed up with Iris and his relationship seven years ago. But when things start to possibly get back on track, a bitter monkey throws a wrench into his cush life and it's time to get serious. Fast. Hopefully Iris can help with that.
(I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley.)
What a fascinating book. I was impressed by the storyline and the characters were all well written and complex. Where there are complex storylines combined with intriguing characters the reader experience is magnified tremendously. To have a book that is well written as well as entertaining is a delight. Reading is about escaping your world and entering another one. Here I forgot about my own life and was immersed in the world created by the author. I would recommend this book.
Due to illness review will be short. In a nutshell this book is worth reading. You can take my review as you will or you can always form you're own opinion by reading it anyway!
A first time author for me. But this book was so much fun to read, the words flowed easily not too much thought by me was needed as i got sucked into the characters and story really quickly. Now do not take that to mean the book was easy it was because i have been stuck in a super duper book reading slump and sometimes a book like this gives me back the passion for reading. A second chance romance story that was romantic, hot and second chance - my fave type of romance. Well worth a read and now i am off to see what the other books in the series are as i started on book 2 in the series but i did not feel it impeded the story at all.
The second installment of the Anyone But Series 😊
3 brothers, Nick, Cade and Rich alongside 3 girl friends...7 years ago, the girls made a pact that the would never again date the King brithers, ever!
Book 1, Anyone but Rich is about Rich and Kira and we seen those two overcome their differences (defo read it before this one!)
And now, Book 2 is Cade and Iris's story, they met, they dated, he messed up and now he's back....along with an unknown addiction - which I absolutely loved!!!!!!! - Cade is a full jester, he doesn't believe in taking life seriously, Iris is the town police officer and yet they match!?
A funny, quirky read 🥰

Anyone But Cade is a second chance romance that will have you rooting for Cade to persuade Iris that he has changed but is still the same. He is still the boy she fell for in school but he is so much more now. And when he needs help raising the son he has just found out about, he cant think of someone who would be more perfect than Iris. I love their relationship in this book because they compliment one another so well and even one another out. Cade has a mischievous side that Iris needs in her life so that she doesn’t take everything so seriously. While Iris balances Cade with her even thinking and temper. Don’t miss the second King brother fall.
Anyone but Cade is second book in this series and I really enjoyed it. I love a good second chance romance.
Cade has returned back to his hometown after being gone for a while. He had no clue him and Iris had a child together. He might be the key to getting the two back together. Cade sees Iris again when she arrests him after getting drunk in a bar and punching a jukebox. The banter and the chemistry between these two was perfect. This was a fast paced read that I really enjoyed and am looking forward to the next book in the series.
This book was hilarious. It's the first book I've read from Penelope bloom but definitely won't be the last. 4 stars
Cade and Iris are coming back together after being apart for awhile. Cade was irresponsible and foolish in high school which led Iris to leave him after suffering the consequences. Now Cade has changed and wants a chance to prove it to Willow. Thanks to his son Bear they are working on a relationship. A funny, sweet read that I loved reading.
I received a copy of this book via Netgalley and am leaving a review.

I love Penelope Bloom's writing style. There's just something unique about it.
Anyone But Cade caught my eyes based on the name and colors on the cover alone.
Having read other books by Penelope, I knew I would like this one too.
The characters are interesting. Iris swore she'd never date Cade. yet here we are.. she's battling her want and emotions, but it's obvious what wins out.
This is a continuation of the King brothers story and the girls who swore to never date them no matter what. It is just a fun as the first novel. Iris and Cade are a very different couple from Rich and Kira, but they fit well and provide an amusing and sexy read. Definitely fun from start to finish.
Babies as focal points in romance aren't my go-to, but Cade as a dad was actually quite fun! Add in his romance with Iris and their dramatic, sexy second chance, and Anyone But Cade is an excellent second installment in this three-book series of standalones featuring the King brothers.
We get to see more Rich and Kira after their HEA, plus more setup for Nick and Miranda.
There's more meddling from parents, and even a bit of a mystery, too!
If you liked Anyone But Rich, definitely pick up Anyone But Cade. Or if second-chance romances with some romantic comedy elements and a cute little kid are your style, you can totally start with Anyone But Cade.
This is the second story in this series. I LOVED it. We get to dive into Cade and Iris from the beginning, through memories. Iris is now a police officer with the local department and gets to legally carry a gun and night stick that she threatens to use on the ever goofy Cade on more than one occasion.
I spent a lot of time giggling at this story, and highly recommend you get Anyone But Rich and devour it before diving into this book, just to spend time with these characters. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
