This book had a lovely way of describing Canada, in a way that makes you feel you are there, and really want to visit. However, I felt that this book was a little bit of a struggle to finish, I felt it was a little shallow in places and some things dragged.

I am a bit on the fence about this book. Some parts were very good and others not. I think the book held great promise but missed a lot of opportunities. It was a story told just on the surface that was a bit all over the place at times. Extensive details of daily life and things that weren't that interesting were elaborated, yet the yoga sessions and poses were brushed over, sometimes in list form. You didn't really get to know the people and I suppose it felt a bit shallow to me. Maybe it will be much more appealing to mums with very young children who are a bit overwhelmed with life. I loved the descriptions of Canada you could almost breathe the clean air and feel the beauty of the rockies, but I think the memoir was just a little bit out of balance to me.
