It took just few pages to understand that this was a page turner going to be rated five stars.
I think it's the best instalment in this series and, even if I was reading multiple books at a time, it was the one I kept on thinking.
It's as entertaining and engrossing as the other novels in this series, I was happy to meet again the cast of characters and I really appreciated the role of Nana Jo friends.
The quirky cast of characters is as lovely as usual and I appreciated the character development that made me know them better.
The mystery is solid, full of suspects and twists, and even if I guessed the culprit I had to wait till the last pages to learn the reason.
It was an excellent read, highly recommended.
Many thanks to Kensington Books and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine.

A rather unusual murder mystery, some enjoyable aspects yet a parallel story muddled rather than clarified the main plot for me. The characters are most enjoyable, some of the domestic detail also detracted from the for me.

With thanks to NetGalley, Kensington Books and the author for my free copy to review in exchange for an honest opinion.

A clever and entertaining cozy mystery, this new series is off to a great start. A shopping trip turns deadly for one shopper and the women team up to solve the murder. It's a fun story with interesting characters and a clever mystery. Thank you NetGalley for the advanced readers copy for review.

I really enjoy getting 2 mysteries/stories in one book. I like the characters and their relationships. The first mystery is a "locked room" one. The other incidents have more folks involved. I was able to figure out who the murderer was, but this didn't impact my enjoyment of the book.

Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for my eARC in exchange for my honest review. - I really like this series and hope for many more.

Booked marked for murder.
Loved this amazing book, highly entertaining with Nana Jo and gang evolving themselves in helping Sam to solve this mystery and find the killer especially as they think the killer could be among the residents at the Shady Acres .
Never guessed who the killer was until the end revel .
Would definitely recommend this series and author .
I would have loved to give this book more than 5 stars ⭐️.
Thanks to Kensington and NetGalley for my advance copy for my honest review.

I love this book. I love this series, but I'm a little biased because it's set around where I grew up, so I enjoy references to places I remember from my childhood. This was an awesome story. Lots of twists and a great ending. And I don't normally like British historicals, but I enjoy the story-within-a-story in these books, so much, I might just become a fan.

A fun series full of friends, family, and of course poodles. Toss in a bus trip and anything can happen and does taking the reader along for the ride. Very enjoyable.

Sam Washington has joined her Nana Jo and friends on a bus trip to Chicago. On the way home they’ve picked up a few new passengers and one is murdered on the bus. The man in questions turns out to be a Pulitzer Prize winning author whose latest book will shock the world when he unveils the true killer of Robert Kennedy.

As Sam, Nana Jo and the ladies work to figure out who the murderer is, another victim is felled. Can the ladies figure it out before one of them is next? Or will their better halves be ringing in the new year solo?

A fun series with two poodles, a group of women, and the friends and family who have their backs as they try to do the right thing.
