Whitelash is a provocative book, and it’s not a book that will be easily accepted by a broad readership, but that’s why it is a necessary book for 2020. Dismantling systems and structures built on the foundation of white supremacy will not be easy, as there’s a perverse incentive for those in power. Voting is at the very center of ensuring equitable access, so it’s an important system to explore in terms of biases at the personal and systemic level.

Many thanks to NetGalley, the author, and the publisher for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an unbiased review.

This was interesting, though unfortunately it did feel a little bogged down at some points. Thank you Netgalley for a copy of this book, I'm happy to have read it!

This could be the dopiest book that I have ever encountered. The author was so put off by the 2016 election result that he abandoned completely the concept of freedom of thought. His rampant progressive beliefs blind him to some of the basic principles of our republic. Avoid this book at all costs.
