While I read a ton of books about magic and definitely believe in something "more", I have always been weirdly skeptical about psychics and that side of the supernaturak. I'm not entirely sure why, but as such, 'Psychic Witch' was a very interesting, and sometimes a little difficult, read, I had to keep reading or suppress my immediate skepticism, but in doing so, I did actually gain more insight than I had expected. Rather than just list spells or ingredients that will let you connect, Auryn presents a quite detailed explanation of his approach and his beliefs. The exercises he provides throughout were also really interesting. While some elements of the book definitely went over my head, as I'm not as attuned into or knowledgeable about auric fields or energies as other readers might be, I loved Auryn's attention to etymologies and linguistics. Language is such a powerful tool, so I really enjoyed the central position he gave this at times. I also appreciated how open the book was to a wide variety of practices and beliefs, rather than restricting itself to just one approach.

Overall, this was a challenging but very interesting read. While I didn't connect with everything, I definitely found many elements in this book I'd like to incorporate into my own practice.

This book is seriously a must-read! By now, you've likely heard of this book. If you haven't, it's time you have! So many time's I've felt I wasn't connected to my psychic abilities. There felt a barrier. This book was amazing in helping me identify what that barrier was doing and how to overcome it and really erase the self-doubt, which can be the biggest barrier. I can't recommend this book enough, highly well written!

This book is a great resource for anyone who has questions about witchcraft in the modern age. It answers so many questions, and included different ways of interpretation of witchcraft as well as many different exercises to follow to start on your path. I thought that some of the exercises were just good habits to start in any self care practice. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who wanted to gain a beginners understanding of what being an intuitive witch can look like.

There have always been mystical and magical themes that resonated throughout my life. The Psychic Witch allowed me to explore those themes more in-depth and gave me an education that I never thought I would receive. This book will take you on a journey and if your intentions are pure and if you are open, you will learn more than you ever thought you could know. So glad I was able to review this gem.

One of the best books on Witchcraft and Psychic Abilities out there! I'm still reading it because I want to read it slowly and do all of the exercises but I can already say that I love this book and it will always be getting high praises from me. I can't get enough of recommending this book to everyone. I was already a fan of Mat's work in the communities and on Patheos and this book is just another wonderful work of art from him. It's fantastic and a MUST in any Witches' bookshelf.

To quote Shakespeare "There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, Than are dreamt of in your philosophy." (Hamlet Act 1 Scene 5) and to be honest I feel thats pretty much true when your delving into magic and other new age ways to help live your life.



Each person has to find a path that works for them and for some, like me, its discovering the magic within and learning to enhance and utilise it to improve my life. Its one of the reasons why I read so many spiritual titles. Each adds a little something to my understanding and whilst bits and pieces fit within my own philosophies I really love finding my own path .

This title by Matt Auryn takes the reader on a journey into a different area, and whilst its pretty common now to find books dealing with moon or sun magic, finding something that deals more with following your own intuition and tapping into its potential is a lot harder.

Matt's writing style is easy to follow, gives you exercises in order to follow and all in has helped me to become more intuitive within my own life, I love the way that i can dive in and reread as well as relearn earlier parts as i develop and whilst Im still a novice I am noticing differences when I make choices that are improving my life. A solid read.

Psychic Witch by Mat Auryn is a good book for beginners who are looking into learning about witchcraft. The various exercises are explained clearly and its helps one deepen their practice of meditation. Also, the cover is beautiful!

Interesting read! I enjoy reading what others in the community are doing to enhance their skills! I may try some of these one day. Good read.

This book was really good. Lots of really practical information, and even some new tricks for this witch. Well written, easy to understand and so creative. I thought I had this already in a physical copy, but I'm definitely going to add it to my collection. An absolute must-have. Thank you!

Being psychic is simply the closeness one possesses in engaging with the subtle energies that surround us, and how we manipulate these energies. Regardless of your natural predisposition with the occult, anyone can enhance their talent with effort and dedication.

A spell is not a spell and a ritual is not a ritual if you are not manipulating energy when you do it. This book teaches psychic techniques through mastering the basics of your spirituality practices, honing your ability to connect with internal and external energies, by training through exercises you can either use as-is or adapt to fit your individualized craft.

Note: This book made me realize that THIS is why I have a great dislike towards the plethora of over-generalized resources and practices out there. INTENT MATTERS. INTENT MATTERS. INTENT MATTERS. It's NOT magick if you are not manipulating energy. It's NOT useful if you are not personally connecting with it. Beginners, it will behoove you to wrap your mind and spirit around what it means to be a real practicing witch, and not just a performative one. This is a great place to start.

While I did not connect with the way many of these exercises are performed, the concepts are pretty powerful and I'm able to practice these in a way that amplifies my unique connection to my magick and my specific energetic self.

Additionally, this is a resource that I can easily pull from while teaching. Although I found some of the content a tad...offputting, overall it was an informative and interesting read that also included several passages on scientific/medical-based spiritual concepts and philosophy that will surely give you something to consider.

I received a copy of this book for a fair and honest review. I have been reading a lot of books on meditation and metaphysical studies. The one major thing that I loved about this book was that it has exercises that I could complete before I moved on to each new chapter. It kept me on task for what I am trying to complete on my own personal spiritual journey. I added some of the tasks to my personal journal so that I can use them over and over as I need them.

Useful, easy-to-read book on psychic development, among other important topics. Highly recommended for readers at various stages of their psychic development.
