A great beginner resource. This was an insightful read with exercises that will open your mind and enhance your meditation. I especially enjoyed the self care rituals and meditation that will help protect your psychic abilities.

An interesting and insightful book. Great for beginners. The foreword says the author teaches and the book is a reflection of that. Things are explained clearly. This is definitely a book I'll be reaching for multiple times.

This book was very informative and is a book that can be read over and over again and not get tired of it. I have talked about this ook with my ok club and let y psychic witch friend read it as well. She was in awe with this book as much as I was. I will be keeping this book as a favorite.

This was a nice, easy read with tons of great tips. I enjoyed the exercises & have added it to my list to get in print form so I can really dive into them with intentional practice.

This book is a remarkable reference guide for those who are wanting to work on their psychic abilities. There are tons of exercises to complete to develop different psychic skills, and it will definitely take some time to get through the material if you serious about doing the work. This is not a book that can be gobbled up in one sitting, you definitely need to take your time and do the exercises to get the most out of what this book offers.

With that said, I absolutely loved the material and am very much looking forward to working my way through the book again to enhance my own skills. Since I received an advanced readers copy of this book, I didn't get to spend the time with the material that I wanted so I am definitely looking forward to an in depth study the second time around.

Good book. Like the guided meditation and the step by step process. It's a great way to shake off self doubt and believe in the power that resides within you.

I cannot give enough praise to "The Psychic Witch", by Mat Auryn. Lately I have been feeling off with my practice, my meditation sessions weren't as fulfilling, spells didn't have the outcome I was hoping for, my overall attitude towards witchcraft lacked spiritual balance. I needed a way to align myself with the path I once followed. Then I found this book.

The author suggests you follow this book step by step, one exercise preparing you for the next, and as I began reading, it became clear why the author wanted you to use his book in that way. By exercise four I noticed my self-doubt melting away, my enthusiasm for exploring witchcraft renewed.

One of the most highly anticipated and my prediction to be one of the most successful books of the year is the Psychic Witch by Mat Auryn. I caught my breath when I saw the announcement for this book to come out several months ago because it's a topic that I knew many were looking for more information on and I was so excited to see that Mat going to be the one to deliver that information.

If you've been looking to learn more about being psychic Mat gives you a front row seat to one of the most wonderful classes I have ever had the opportunity to take part of. While this is a book you feel like you are right there with him as he guides you through information and exercises designed to help you work on your intuitive skills. I've been lucky enough to have a lot of the same teachers as Mat and I loved watching their influence on his craft come through in the pure labor of love that he has given as a gift to everyone. This energy, this commitment, his love and expertise is what I believe will make this one of the top selling books of the year.

You have the opportunity to work with what I consider to be one of the top teachers in the Metaphysical world today. If you take the time to work through all the exercises and information in this book I am quite confident that you will love this book and learn a lot from it. It doesn't matter if you are experienced or just starting down this road he truly has something for everyone. Mat is going to take you on a journey that will be a wonderful influence on your personal craft and path in life. I think this is a book that should be included in every witch's library.

I loved this book! The author's way of thinking and teaching was new and it really resonated with me. I never thought that psychic powers were something just born natural and I'm not alone. Mat Auryn shows us that anyone is capable if we just work at it. Like walking, we are born witht he ability but need to practice to make it successful.

I loved this book. I really resonated with the author's opinions and found his way of teaching about witchcraft/energy work very sensible, practical and accessible with lots of exercises that don't require buying lots of commercial witchcraft "stuff". I highly recommend it!!

I, as others were captured by the cover of the book. I know there are witches who think psychic abilities are all part of the magic package. It's not. It takes work to unlock your gift. Mat Auryn brings everything you need to know to develop and improve your psychic gift. Exercises, tips and practices are included. This author knows how to teach and if you follow the instructions, you will learn. It's a great book for beginners and for the advanced as well. I fully recommend this book. Great book on the subject. Normally I do not pay much attention to the exercises books like this have, but the exercises in this one were really helpful and easy for anyone to do for the most part. It is a great overview for anyone, but is especially helpful for someone who is also pagan/Wicca learning the practice.

The book is formatted into fifteen (15) Chapters, which may seem to be quite a lot, but the subject matter alone and the very thorough way in which Mat Auryn approaches the subject matter warrants the number. Each chapter methodically takes the reader through the process of beginning to adjust perception, break down the limitations we place on ourselves and provide concrete instruction. There is a wonderful balance between solid research and magickal studies that give the information the right amount of scientific credit and mystical wonderment.

Each chapter is chockfull of practical application exercises and illustrations to fuel the visual, kinesthetic and theoretical. All of this is offered through the very articulate and relatable style that Mat brings to what is a massive amount of information. The “Foreword” begins…

…Embracing your power and path as a psychic being can be the most rewarding experience a witch can have in their lifetime. When we finally suspend our disbelief long enough to hold close the simple truth that to be a witch is to be psychic incredible things start to happen…

In this very simple opening we have a sense that that we are part of the revealing of a truth that has been cloaked behind mystery for too long. And, that to acknowledge the validity of that statement also implies that there is work to be done.

Each of the exercises flow beautifully from chapter to chapter and each build upon the other, often using the simple ones given at the start as the basis for expanding upon. Exercise 23 in Chapter Four was one of my favorites, entitled: Spell to Awaken Psychic Abilities. This spell makes use of the moon’s energy, your personal receptivity, water as a conduit and breath and tuning in from previous exercises. I don’t want to give away the particulars, but the overlay of a runic spell coalesces and integrates the work being done with invitation to repeat monthly to “recharge” your battery.

Everything and anything you wish to know or have heard used regarding psychic abilities is to be found somewhere in Psychic Witch: A Metaphysical Guide to Meditation, Magick & Manifestation (no pun intended. LOL!) What makes this book unique however is that it is not simply an exercise in theoretical verbosity, leaving you as confused and unsatisfied as when you embarked on this journey. Mat has made the unusual, become usual business that can be accomplished by hard work and practice, but more importantly by understanding and clarity of the mechanics of psychic practice.

There are several chapters devoted to the understanding and alignment of the triune nature of the s(Selves), subtly bringing home the importance of the statement “Know Thyself”, especially in magickal practice. Taking the time to explore our nature(s) brings us closer to revealing the gifts inherent in all parts of our being in all of the worlds.

This statement that opens Chapter 15 sums up very nicely the intention of Psychic Witch: A Metaphysical Guide to Meditation, Magick & Manifestation. As a conclusion to a thorough read, the emphasis is that psychism, magick and the s(S)elf are not independent of one another. Rather, they are co-creators of a wholeness that is at the very heart of a witch’s practice, philosophies and work. If you do the work outlined in the book and if you embrace a power that is part of everyone’s ability (in varying degrees) you are well on your way to becoming not only a self-empowered with, but more wholly the person you are meant to be as a Divine Being having a manifest experience.

Would I Recommend?

Whole-heartedly, YES! Mat’s style is readable, accessible and encourages you to be your best self. The formatting of studies has clarity and offers time to digest through exercise and contemplative work. I would recommend this title to both the novice(as example of what can be achieved on the Path) as well as the adept and experienced Witch (reaffirming and offering a deeper perspective to enhance the steps already achieved). The Bibliography is filled with resources that will make any practitioner of magickal studies and workings better informed and diverse in newfound perspective.

The cover of this one is not just a spooky face. This was a great title that gives wonderful information about medication, magic, and more. It's a great book about awakening psychic connections and more. Good for beginners and those advanced. I think this was a well rounded guide.

Psychic Witch is a wonderful book for the introduction to being a psychic witch. Mat Auryn does a wonderful job describing the subject in a manner so that the reader understands the reasoning behind the exercises that he later introduces. This author is very clear and concise in their writing style, which helps those of us who are knew to the concept of developing psychic skills get the necessary details to begin learning. I would recommend this book for any beginner and I look forward to future writings from this author.

This review is based on my preliminary reading as I will be spending the next few months working through the book and exercises. The content is not something to be read and reviewed again later, it is something that allows you to take small bites of material and work through them at your own pace. I’m going to be enjoying this book for a long time to come as I work through it.

It's highly informative with lots of exercises to choose from, but personally I prefer more feminist-style books. Not that this is a bad book, it's more about personal preference.

Mat Auryn provides a massive amount of exercises and rationale for developing one's innate psychic abilities. Different options and advice are provided for different styles of student, and there is a little bit of something for everyone willing to put in the work and practice. Mat's experience and compassion shine through the writing, and the book merits the effort to put its teachings into practice.

An excellent book about developing psychic talents. It's well written, the explanations are clear and I learned a lot.
