Cute, beginning introduction to a different country and culture. Is geared towards young children and would feel too young for older children.

This is a great addition to the Tiny Travelers series of books for kids. Designed to introduce children to Puerto Rico and the Puerto Rican culture, the book does a great job of grabbing their attention with the bright and colorful pictures. There are some words (understandably) that are hard to pronounce, but the pronunciation of these words has been included to help readers. As an adult, I learned quite a bit that I didn't know! I know that kids will love reading this book and learning more about Puerto Rico!

*I received this book on NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.*

This tiny traveller’s guide is well drawn, and well -written. Pereira and Jaramillo do a masterful job of explaining cultural aspects of Puerto Rico, hoping to several cities and even an island, with realistic imagery in every site. I especially love the treasure hunt, where there are items often food or animals that the little traveller must identify on every page and even a hidden one. Another thing I love about this little book was the use of Puerto Rican terms with a pronunciation guide. After reading this book, I am definitely looking up the other books in this series to see what other treasure’s I can find.

Very fun and interactive for kids. I didn't feel it was necessary to have so much rhyming in it but thought it did a pretty good job highlighting parts of the country and culture.

In this entry of Puerto Rico children to explore this U.S. territory. They see festivals, foods, bio luminescence on Vieques and more.

A nice introduction to kids about a country and culture they may not know about. Learn where a country is and where it fits to their location. They can learn new things and find items to find and seek activity.

This was a fun book for a child to learn a bit about another country. The book starts with a map of the country, which was nice because we got to see what it looked like. Each page highlights a special place in the country. The find and seek was a little odd, as there wasn't a picture of the item, and it wasn't words like find a cat, it was a special cultural mask or something like that.

I just reviewed Tiny Travelers Puerto Rico Treasure Quest by Steven Wolfe Pereira; Susie Jaramillo. #GoTinyTravelers #NetGalley

While hoping next book in the series is coming soon, I would recommend this book (and 2 others in the series). Easy to read, full color with pretty drawings, this book would be an excellent read or to be gifted to someone dear.

This book, like the others in the series, features appealing illustrations and interesting facts about the country in question. Unfamiliar words have pronunciation guides, and there are lots of things to look at in the pictures.

I'd like to see some other books in the series deal with less well-known countries. So far, we have two Spanish-speaking ones, which seems a bit repetitive (even though the cultures are different); because language features heavily in these books, there may be the potential for the Mexico book and the Puerto Rico book to be muddled together in some readers' minds.

Still, once this series gets some more titles to round it out, I think it'll be a nice one to introduce kids to the basics and inspire them to want to learn more about the countries in question. All three of the titles I've read so far are fun picture books that are interesting and engaging... both great traits in non-fiction for kids.

A fantastic book to teach children about Puerto Rico. The did you know sections were interesting. The words in Spanish were simple to learn and the search and finds made the learning aspect of this book fun and engaging for kids.

A darling little book, with fun colors, showcasing many wonderful places around Puerto Rico. Really like the interweaving of Spanish words too, and the phonetics. Good way to teach a little lingua besides helping kids learn about a different culture. Love the colors and the variety of places shown. Sweet book, and one that I highly recommend.
