This has been on my TBR shelf for a while and I have tried to get into it several times... Rarely do a put a book down and not finish it, however, I couldn't go on with this one. I really liked the premise of the novel and found the intended plot to be unique and refreshingly different from so many contemporary romances these days. Unfortunately, the characters were so aggravating and the plot started to get so unrealistic that I had to give up.

Throughout my life, there's no better premise for a novel than love.
In Search Of is a novel by Mara Dabrishus and Tudor Robins, is a gripping title about when you're in any part of your life where it's never too late to start over, it focuses on the right next step and it shows in the layered characters and plot.
This book is a quirky, whimsical sweet romance but let's not forget the wit and observational humor since the beginning that definitely was the factor that got me hooked.
Inevitably, the course of falling love does not run smoothly which is any reader's benefactor to a great romantic novel.
This book is essentially a tender tale that explores the funny and affectionate exploration of Lynsey and Cameron while they try to navigate finding an alternative option through the pressure of having to figure out their own lives individually, where circumstances only bring them together.
And so it begins a laugh-out-loud fairytale that I absolutely loved and kept me reading until past 3 am but was definitely worth it, over and over again.

I started this book and thought the beginning was a little too pushy for my liking but I tried to finish it. Unfortunately it did not keep me entertained so I stopped reading. Wish I liked it more!

A good story. A bit hard to get into at first but the story grows on you. So if you try it give it till chapter 3 to make a decision on it.

What a cute and completely hilarious book? The banter in this book was actually top notch for me. Not what you called intelligent banter but witty banter nonetheless. It made me laugh out loud many times. Cam is definitely not my favorite male protagonist but Lyn managed to win me over. She isn’t the normal type I would like to be friends with (Hope definitely is more of that) but I loved her enthusiasm and how she wanted to prove herself which she did. She wasn’t this amazing girl who managed to actually figure everything out, which made the story more relatable. She managed to trip and fall on the way and Cam managed to find her and catch her in his own way. What I really liked was the way they started. They weren’t attracted at all but over time they fell for each other. Their true selves managed to catch each other attention and they fell I love. Which was a real treat for the readers, reading their path to love.

The plot isn’t what you call novel but it had its cute moments. If you want to have a feel good book with less drama, this is a nice story.
