The Suite Life is a fantstic, feel good read, witty and funny and loughing out loud. I was intrigued from the start. I read the book , cover to cover in one sitting.
I liked the great writing and the sometimes hilarious storyline. I cobnnected with the characters. So check, check and check.
Meet Leo and Brianna. Both are at a resort. Brianna is an employee and Leo was just cut off by his parents. They haven't much in common, but on trheir way they learn a lot about love and growing up.
The Suite Life is a rom/com of it's finest. The book can be read as a stand-alone.

This light-hearted read was a fun adventure. Leo and Brianna live completely opposite lives from one another. Leo is a spoiled socialite whose party lifestyle is funded completely by his parents. Brianna is a single mother living with her aunt while trying to complete law school. They meet at a resort where Brianna works after Leo is cut off from his parents and must find a job, among a list of other things, in order to not be cut out of the will. Slowly Leo begins to fall for Brianna and falls in love with her daughter along the way. There are trials and tribulations among our two characters but the story covers interesting aspects of life. Brianna learns to let things go and become more adventurous while expanding her confidence. Leo learns how to be a real adult while learning the value of hard work and a dollar. This was a quick read for me and I enjoyed the development of both Brianna and Leo.

This book is the third in a series, but I did not read the first two before I read this book. It stood up well as a stand-alone novel, but I do plan on reading the first two because I enjoyed this one so much.

I loved the strong female lead who is a single mom who's working and going to law school. Her 4-year daughter is a hoot, especially when she teaches the male lead how to operate the washing machine. I enjoyed the "supporting cast" too. The story moved along quickly and I really didn't want to put it down.

Overall, a fun book with a very satisfying ending.

This was better than I thought it was going to be but I didn't realize this was part of a series, so I didn't understand what some of the characters were talking about. If I put this aside, it was still highly relatable and plausible.

I enjoyed the setting of an island in the Carribean for this book. It's getting cold where I live and it was nice to imagine being in the Caribbean. I thought the characters were well developed.

Brianna is a motivated, hard working, single mother who has her eyes on the prize, becoming a lawyer. She was a fierce lady, and I loved her.

Leopold, is a rich, kid in a man body, who had been sent to live on the same island that his brother does. He has caused a ruckus with his father and is being threatened to be cut off if he doesnt follow a contract to be sober, have a paid working job, get his own place, and not be with women. This is quite the hard test for him.

I must say, I didnt enjoy his character, even when he was being a good guy. His phrases like "righto" and calling his, um, male anatomy "leopole" was just not for me. I found myself wincing in the multiple times both of those phrases were used.

He rents a garden shed from Brianna. They get close. She finds out about his contract. They say mean things to one another. They... eventually Express their real feelings... it was a very very lengthy process.

This was the third in a series. The author did a fantastic job in allowing me to feel brand new to the story without too much back story over powering.

The inevitable romance did eventually happen. The bow was tied up nicely in the end. Aside from the annoying phrases, I liked the read.

They learned so much of love and growing up. Melanie writes such entertaining books and I look forward to reading more.

This was unexpectedly adorable. I hesitated to get into this because struggling, working, single mum and student falling in love with a man-child just didn't make me eager to pick up. When done poorly, she comes off like a shrew (Why can't you take life seriously?!) and he comes off like a man-whore (Life's a party!). Er, that was a bit of the case, but each character was able to laugh about him/herself. They were ultimately lovely together and you're rooting for them to get together.

This was fun rom-com that offered a nice escape. I actually didn't mind the world building this author did with a made-up Caribbean island community and Avonia as a far-off stuffy old "European" country.

I received a copy of this arc from NetGalley for an honest review. I didn't get very far into this book as the main character is so pretentious it was painful to continue. I'm sure there is a great life lesson coming up, but it read so tacky.

I really wish I had known that this was the third in a series. Thankfully it's a series where the characters are reoccurring but the stories don't necessarily need to be read in order, but I still would've liked to have read the others first.

The first chapter with Leo was really hard to get through because he starts out as such a garbage human being and I really just wanted to punch him in his entitled face. Bree's chapter was the exact opposite and restored my faith in the book. I love a hate to love romance and this one was fantastic. I loved that our MC is a single mother with a full-time job who is also a full-time student preparing to take the bar exam. Her family is absolutely the worst which brought another layer of realness to the story. Unless you're in Bree's situation, you can't understand it. Her family doesn't care to and that's sadly the case for a lot of women in her position.

The characters are extremely well fleshed out and are the strongest part. The supporting characters are their own people and help move the novel forward, not just decorations in the background. Nor do any of them fit completely into a generic trope or roll in a novel.

Trust me you'll want to add this to your TBR immediately. If the other two are half as good as this one, I'm sure you'll want to start with them.

I really enjoyed this series and am glad that there will be a spinoff series!

Leopold was the playboy with a heart of gold type and I completely loved it. Brianna was great - flawed and believable. I don't go in for the single-parent trope often, but thought it was handled well here. A lot of Bree's motivations came from trying to support her child. Honestly, sometimes I felt tired just reading about all the things she had to do in a day haha. I loved that Leo helped her out in small, thoughtful ways but also didn't try to come barreling in like a knight in shining armour.

If I had one complaint, it'd be the fade to black scenes - I like the dirty deets usually! But that doesn't impact my opinion of this book, it was a cute, fun read!

I found this book to be an entertaining 3rd book in the series! While I liked the first and second books better, I found it fun to get to know Leo more and I continue to enjoy Summers' writing style. I find these books to get great "lighter" reads for the pool or beach vacation!

What can I say about The Suite Life by Melanie Summers... The description of the book had me wanting to jump into this story right away. I'll admit I hadn't heard of this author before but I'm sure glad I did. Although the story starts off a tad slow on the first few pages I assure you it picks up speed soon after.

The chemistry between our leads Leopold Davenport and Brianna Lewis is immediate and soon sparks start to fly between these two. Leo is carelessly going thru life knowing his antics will be funded by his parents until a line is crossed and he finds himself with no money and in desperate need of a job. Brianna is a little to upright hard working single mom who quickly learns that life isn't just about getting the right career and paying the bills. When these two end up working together you find yourself rooting for them at every turn of the page.

I can't wait to read more from this author! I will definitely be checking out the rest of the books in this series. 4/5 Stars

This was a fun and sunny read. I could not stand Leo at first, that changed near the end. Overall a nice beach read (hence the cover :-))

"The Suite Life" is a contemporary romance that is also hilarious. If you're looking for an entertaining read with an HEA, this is the book for you. I don't recall reading anything by this author before, but I did find the book to be written well. The cover is discreet and appropriate. I enjoyed the spilt POVs and I dont think th book would have had as much of an impact had it only been Leo or Bree's telling of events.

This book did lack the heat factor and I felt that the romance flew by really quickly and that major milestones such as the first kiss was done later in the book. I felt that moved really fast but understand why it was critical for the plot.

Overall, I would rate this book at a 3.5 stars. It was good, but it didn't blow my socks off.!

This was a fun, fairly quick read.. Whilst I didn’t take to Brianna and Leo as much as I did to Libby/Harrison and Emma/ Pierce in books 1 and 2 of the series I still enjoyed their story and how their relationship progressed. Worth a read if you’re looking for a funny, romance in a lovely paradise location.

While The Suite Life was a fun read with an ultimately satisfying ending, it was a little too slow and predictable for me. I enjoyed the writing and the characters, but I just felt like some of the details really weighed the book down.

I found this story to be very slow to start. I struggled through the first half of the book, which is where I felt it finally got going. Unfortunately, I’m a bit of a perfectionist, and I can ignore some editing issues, there were too many, and I found myself looking for the errors instead of getting involved in the story. I actually stopped reading about 75%. Hopefully, these issues are fixed and others will enjoy this book.

Melanie Summers can write an easy, romance that is heart warming and fun! The Suite Life is in a series, but (I hadn't read the others) can be read as a standalone. For fans of a slow burn romance, this one is for you! I'm ready to read more of her books immediately.

This book was adorable and refreshing. Seems so many stick t0 the romance tropes. But this was a new take and was a wonderful slow burn between two characters that really brought out the best in each other. This story was so warm and heartfelt that I ended up looking up the other two books in the series to read ASAP. Summers creates two extremely likable characters with flaws that felt realistic and made me want them to get together! I sincerely enjoyed this book!

I have not read the other two books in the “ Paradise Bay” series but “The Suite Life” can be read as a standalone in my opinion. I was able to keep up with everything with no issues whatsoever. Now onto the review!
“The Suite Life” was my first read by author Melanie Summers. I have to say that it was absolutely hilarious! Some of the characters were unlikeable but by the time I reached the end, I did like them a bit more. The story itself captivated me and did not let up until the very last page. I will definitely be checking out more from this author in the future as well as reading the other two books in this series as well.
