Stevie and Bishop... Stevie and Bishop how can I put words together to explain how much I love these two. Stevie is spunky, tough, sarcastic take no crap kinda woman and Bishop... well he's a bit of an A hole, but both have soft gooey centers. If that isn't every girls catnip I don't know what is. This book had me laughing out loud at multiple points, it was Helena Hunting perfection! Each I have read almost her entire catalog, and each time she introduces me to the next couple they become favorites. As in "A Lie for a Lie" family plays a big role in this story, and while this book is full of humor it is also full of heart and deals with real issues. It is hard not to gush about how much I loved this story in detail, but I refuse to give spoilers! Just know that there is no way you could read this book and not absolutely love every single word.

I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley and Voluntarily give my review.

I really enjoyed the heck out of this book. I loved the hero and the heroine and hockey romances are my jam. Thank you to netgalley for the ARC!

So this book had an enjoyable storyline and I'll look forward to more in the series. My problem is that the only character that I liked was the hero, who was supposed to be an asshole. I got sick of the heroine constantly whining about her brother and tired of waiting for her to tell off her ex. I liked RJ in his book, but in this one I didn't. It was really freaking hypocritical for him to beat up the hero, who wasn't a fraction as bad as RJ was in his heyday.

I'm a huge Helena Hunting fan. This book is everything! I think Bishop may have knocked out Hayden (my fave character of Helena's) out of the number one spot. Such a fun, sexy, book.

I loved Stevie and Bishop! I did not want to put this book down! They had AMAZING chemistry from the very start. I thought this book was funny and not a lot of unnecessary drama. I also like that it can be read as a standalone, but if you've read the previous book or the Pucked series you get enough of the other characters to feel like you get just a little bit more of their stories, but not enough that if you haven't read the other books you will seem lost as to what is going on. I highly recommend A Favor for a Favor!!

To say that the first encounter between Stevie and Bishop was less than extraordinary would be an understatement., there may or may not have been some fun name calling. From that point on, the two do nothing but bicker. Stevie is the sister of his team captain, and the guy he isn’t a huge fan of. Stevie is mending a broken heart and staying her in brother’s penthouse to get back on her feet. When Bishop ends up with an injury, Stevie offers to help him rehab, which is a win for both of them. He can hopefully get back on the ice faster, and she can add helping rehab a professional athlete to her resume. The more time they spend together, the harder it is to keep their distance, and it has them both asking themselves, do they even want that distance?

Helena Hunting is seriously one of my all-time favorite authors. Every book she writes, I’m grabbing it as soon as I can. ‘A Favor for a Favor’ is no exception. This book has that same Helena romance and comedy that I’ve come to love. I loved that Stevie gave as good as she got when it came to Bishop. And Bishop is such a loveable jerk. Their chemistry jumped off the page from their very first awkward encounter and kept up throughout the entire book. I couldn’t put this book down. It had my laughing out loud, and god love that we got to visit Violet and her crazy in this book! This book was a fun read, and a great addition to the All In Series!

This series is by far my favorite of this authors. A Favor For A Favor had many different qualities, but they were amazing no the less. Stevie and Bishops meet cute is so different, yet absolutely hilarious. This sweet romance was filled with so much sexual tension, I could not wait for, what I knew for certain was going to be an explosive kinetic connection, and this author presented that on a silver platter. The push and pull was fluffing fantastic.
From the witty banter and the absolutely fantastic dialogue, Stevie and Bishops story never lacked in keeping my attention. They progressed as characters along with their story. From start to finish, the development was natural and not forced. This light- hearted read is a winner in my book.

Stevie is a vibrant - colorful, smart woman with mouth that could make sailors blush. She is sassy and more often than not, her sarcasm is like a second language to her. She prefers living in the shadows than the lime light, even though her beauty shines bright like a diamond.

Bishop comes off as a askhole. He is brash and unapologetic, quiet and reserved, but he likes to taunt like it's his profession. He has an aversion to clothes, and prefers to be at home than out.

What happens when trading favors mixes with actual feelings?

This is Stevie and Bishop book, it's the second book in the all in series! Bishop decided to join the NHL newest expansion team in Seattle. He thought it would be a great start in his new career but he didn't expect his hot mess of a neighbor! She came barreling in at midnight making all kinds of noise looking like something the cat drug in, while trying to break into the captain of his newest teams apartment! His newest captain who is very married to a different woman! When Bishop gets injured in the game that takes him out for weeks he can't afford, his new hot mess neighbor steps in and offers to help! He soon finds out she's not his captains mistress but his baby sister! All those feelings she's been stirring up in not sure what's worse if she was the mistress or the sister?!! Hopefully he can keep his feelings and hands to himself! This book was great! I'm definitely liking this new series! And it's ku!! I liked the first book just as well but you can definitely read them as standalone! Thank you Netgalley and the publishers for sharing this book with me!

4.5 rounded up

This was such an addicting love story that was sweet, but full of sexual tension at the same time. My husband played hockey so I love hockey romances a bit more than your average person. That may have contributed to my inability to put this one down, but realistically is was Huntings great writing that had me hooked from the get go.

Stevie was a main character that you'll immediately love with her sass and sarcastic manner. Honestly, I want her to be real so we can be friends and she can join all my book clubs. 😂 Even though she's awesome, she dated Joey (haven't we all dated a Joey unfortunately 🤢). He was just slimey and sexual harassy and made me want to punch this fictional character in his face. I didn't of course (you know because he's fake), but if he were real I would have definitely considered it. Bishop shared similar feelings towards Joey and I think that's why I liked his character so much. He was an asshole, but underneath that shell of dirty looks he was really a softie. As you get to know him, you'll find yourself falling for him a bit more with each page.

This book wasn't as steamy as some of her previous books, but makes up for it with some great dirty talk. For the steam factor I would give this one 🔥🔥 because the one bedroom scene was great, but the rest was fade to black scenes or just sexual banter. This may be a turn off for some (pun intended 😂), but it may help this book appeal to a larger variety of readers. I know some prefer fade to black scenes over detailed sex scenes.

Honestly I really loved this book and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys the genre. You'll find yourself wrapped up in a romance that doesn't disappoint as you get to know some great characters. Do yourself a favor and pick up (or preorder) a copy of this one ASAP.

Thank you Netgalley and Montlake Romance for an e-arc in exchange for an honest review. A positive review was not required and all opinions are my own.
