Loved this book! Great story about grabbing life by the balls and taking chances. I enjoyed her honest and blunt view on life and finding your own happily ever after.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. Thank you NetGalley.

The cover and title really caught my eye, I mean how many books have a curse word in the title, haha.
This book certainly won't be for everyone. It's a self-help / life advice style of read.
But it is short, easy to read, and fun.
I love how unapologetic the author is too!

So worth the read!

OMG...this book right here!!! Written with honesty and grace. It is rare to find people that take responsibility for their actions in this day and time. So very refreshing. True book about life. Thanks to NetGalley, the author and the publisher for the arc of this book in return for my honest review. Receiving this book in this manner had no bearing on this review.

This was just not for me, as I was not the target audience. The tone is in-your face, and it seemed to be more about finding your true love than anything else. DNFed at 25%

Blunt, to the point, and no-nonsense self-help. I loved it. Funny and different from the usual self-help book.

The best blunt life-advice book I've read in a long time. I loved hearing Braden talk about how she fell down yet got back up again, and again, and again!
Her books is that great mix of uncommon wisdom delivered to keep even sleep-deprived readers awake. Hilarious and empathetic, yet she emphasizes how no one is coming to rescue you from your own life.

A great book to read for inspiration and hope and sorely needed right now!

"Hi, I’m Branden. That is me on the cover. Yes, I have a boy’s name, a Mom bod, and the tattoos are real. Once upon a time I realized we all have a story, we all have a struggle and happiness is relative. I am not cynical or hardened, I am just stating the facts. Here’s the deal:"

If this blurb and the name didn't already catch my attention? The cover really did!
And when I started reading. I just couldn't stop!
Sass! Wit! Advices!
Just great!

My kind of self help book. Full of hard truths and lots of mirrors. So much common sense but it's still hard to see in yourself until it's in your face. Branden is unapologetically in your face. MUST READ

Hilariously self help book written by Brandon whom has lots of sass, lacking class and a mouth of a sailor. I loved reading this autobiography type of book. She has lots of advice to be given. Overall I enjoyed this book.

I received a complimentary copy of this title from the publisher through NetGalley. Opinions expressed are my own.

I'm not entirely sure what I was expecting from this book, but this wasn't it. For funny non-fiction, I'm used to Jenny Lawson. I thought this would be similar in tone, with a fairy tale overlay.

I was super bored, found the author whiny, and couldn't get past the obsession on motherhood. Not a fun read for me.

At first the cover made me wanna read the book. It's something different, a fairytail with a non-skinny and perfect princess. Oh and the title! Then I started reading the story and I realised this is not a fairytail at all. It's a true story about life, about a simple girl who took some bad decisions. But I understand it's not her fault.
Like the author I realised that who I am now it's because of my parents. But who I will be from now on it will be my decision. If I wanna do left or right it will be because I want to, not because of what i was taught.
I really enjoyed the book. Sometimes we need a "wake up, bit**!" more than a "you should wake up, honey" to make us understand that we should change our life. It was a fun and quick read and everybody should read it. Every dreamer, every mother and father, every girl and boy.
Thank you NetGalley for this eArc in exchange for a review.

This is a how-to-book. How to get your own Happily Ever After. Our heroine, who is also the author, gives advice on finding happiness and self esteem. She uncovers the unconscious barriers that society, family and we, ourselves have erected. She's not afraid to get straight to the point. A bit of 'this is what you are doing wrong, this is how to fix it.' Since she has 'been there, done that' you tend to listen. It's always good to trust a trail guide who has walked the path before.
Good book, but be prepared for some hard truths.

This is a different genre for me so I’ve not got a lot to compare it with. I enjoyed this and read it quickly, there were parts are found really helpful and I really enjoyed the language, it wasn’t condescending. Branden was talking to me not at me. Would read certain bits again for sure.

Talk about funny and different. It made me LOL. THIS I THE TYPE OF BOOKS I LOVE. This was so good. Can I please have another one? One thing I loved was that it wasn't slow in reading.

I quite enjoyed this self-help book - it's written in a very modern way, with lots of swearing and cussing, and probably wasn't really designed to be read by me, someone in their late 40s. Don't think it told me anything new but it was definitely a useful reminder of how putting myself first is the sensible thing to do and not selfish,

This book is one kick-you-in-the-ass self-help book. It's a pretty powerful dose of reality especially if you listen to the audiobook like I did. Branden is a girl after my own heart and real as real can get. I related so much to her past and her current state of being a tattooed mama with a past I'm trying to heal from. While some people may be turned off by her brashness I found her honesty deeply appreciated. This book is just what I needed to snap out of the rut I've been in for the past year. If you are looking for a wake up call without an exact diagram to follow this book is for you.

I didn't expect to relate to this book and author to the extent that I did! I toowas stuck in an unhappy long term relationship and felt hopeless until I suddenly decided enough is enough. I loved reading Branden's book and seeing how real she was. She told you like it is and makes no excuses. You want a better life? You want to feel true joy? Well go out and get it! There is no prince out there waiting to rescue you...you have to rescue yourself.

Her advise throughout the book was fantastic. She really made you feel like you were having a conversation with your friend who was helping you get out of your rut. There were times where I laughed out loud and other times where I simply thought "wow she is so right!" If you are looking for a book that motivated you to get moving and save yourself, this is the book for you!

Branden and I didn’t have the same upbringing, yet we turned out very much alike. Learning to make our way, handling the hurts and learning to celebrate the good things. Basically realizing we could manage our own destiny. The difference is I was always told I could manage my own destiny no matter how hard things were to handle and Branden had to learn it. Learn it definitely from the school of hard knocks.

I think this book is a great read for many types of people. It is just a plain good read for some, and it will be of great help to others. Is it written in the mode of all of the perfect rules you learn in writing class? No, it isn’t. But I don’t think that’s the point here. It’s written clearly, openly, raw with someone’s true feeling and well enough to make you feel it too. There are a lot of good lessons here. They may not always be said in a verbiage that you want to hear but keep an open mind and read on. It’s worth the time.

If the language isn’t something you can abide, then you need a different book. Everybody has their own thing.

If you want to feel like you're getting advice from your best friend, read this book. Branden keeps it real and reminds you that You and only YOU can save yourself with her 6 Maxims to life. I love the bluntness she brings to the table while telling her readers about herself. I don't read many memoirs or self helps. I really enjoyed this book.

One of the best - if not THE best - advice book out there for any girl/woman wanting to own up to her existence and make the best version of herself she can be. If you're easily offended by the f-word, the s-word, the b-word (hello, title!), then this is definitely not the book for you! But if you can look beyond that and actually see the real-life wisdom Branden LaNette delivers through those quirky own-life stories, the unapologetic potty mouth and pen, then yes, you might just have found out what every woman needs to see, assimilate, and do to succeed in life as their own person.
