Heather can’t believe she is the only person on Earth who can protect Storm, the ambassador from Vespia. It has something to do with some pheromone the Vespian males exude. Although everyone says she’s immune, she doesn’t agree. There is something about the man that makes her desire skyrocket whenever she is around him. Storm finds Heather fascinating; her bright violet eyes hold a world of emotions in them. He’s drawn to her and wants her with a depth he’s never experienced before. When she becomes the focal point of several kidnapping attempts, he realizes she’s going to need his protection: the perfect excuse to get to know her better.
This was a pretty good si-fi romance with plenty of adventure and steam. I liked both main characters and read through it quite quickly. I look forward to reading more from this author. I recommend.

Thank you netgalley for providing this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
I was not impressed with this sci fi romance. The story seemed rushed and the characters superficial. The alien commander has phermones that attract people and Heather is hired to protect him . although she feels an attraction to him she is able to resist until he takes upon himself to push his sexual advances on her and she gives in. She doesn't get much of a say in anything as he dictates what she does and with whom. Not my cup of tea.

This read was a sexy sci-fi read. Storm has a name that is fitting. He literally storms his way in the heroines life. Heather is military and an orphan and with really no family ties she is asked to protect the ambassador of Vespia. With her being immune to The pheromones he exudes she is the one that is picked. Little does she know that a treaty is in the works and it requires her to marry Storm. There are ups and downs. There is someone after her. Someone who tries to get to her and hurt Storm. This read was nicely paced. Yes, it is a sci-fi so expect the not possible with a side of sexy alpha male. Good read. l have already downloaded the next in this series.

I received this ARC from the publisher via Net Galley at my request. The opinions written are solely my own. Thank you Net Galley!

Thank you Netgalley and Eclipse Press for this copy. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

It turns out to be better than I expected. Admittedly, sci-fi/fantasy isn't my favourite genre and I don't even remember when was the last time I read one. I had a bit of hesitation whether ot not to request to read this.

One of the reason why sci-fi/fantasy isn't my thing because I don't have that big of imagination to be part of that world. Lucky for me, but maybe not for those who are into sci-fi/fantasy genre, this is not very techy. I could imagine the characters and the setup fairly easily.

On NetGalley, the book was categorized under Romance and Erotica. I'd say yes to the Romance, but it's fairly tame to be categorised as Erotica. Even the publisher made point to make a note to say that this is a 'steamy science-fiction romance tale'. I mean, the chemistry and attraction between Heather and Storm are undeniable, but I don't find the book sexy enough to agree with that note. Fair warning if you expect the book to be hot and heavy with alien sexy times.

Enjoyed reading the story of Heather and Storm. The storyline was intriguing and kept me guessing through until the end. Storm was a very take-charge kind of man, but Heather didn't let that stop her from being strong and confident. I like the sci-fi/romance genre. I highly recommend this book to people who like both sci-fi and romance books.

I read paranormal romance before but never a sci-fi romance. So when I saw this book I said I have to read it. I like the cover even if I am not a fan of real people on the covers. The plot is really interesting and it pisses me off because the book could be better. The beginning is too much intimacy and not enough details. It looks more as an erotica than a romantic book. You expect that will be teasing between the main characters before they actually do something.

The intriguing part starts after you read half of the book when it is not so much intimacy and the writer is focused on the story. But it stops at the last chapter where you can see that she wanted to finish the book quickly because it is really confusing. Now she says something and after a page it is different.

Desire's destiny is book 1 and I am a bit curious if the second book is better or not.
