Interesting steamy paranormal romance. Coraline's life turns upside down and the one that helps her is Vampire Masone. Coraline and Masone finde refuge with another Vampire-Knox. In the book happens a lot of unexpected things and some shocking things are revealed. I hate it that it ends with a cliffhanger. There are so many things left unspoken and unsolved. Caroline is an interesting character, I hade a feeling that she couldn't determine her feelings toward Mason and don't forget there is Knox. In which way the story will go is to see in another book.

Ok. That was not cool.... I’m bereft. A book should have a beginning, middle, and an end....what kind of end was that? This book continues and is not summed up nicely between two bindings so be prepared.

What did I like? I liked the characters, Mason, Knox, Trent.... Coraline. All of them came to life in a whimsical way but still the storyline was good. I appreciate a good story line but that ending hurt. This is a unique spin on vampires and witches, and nicely done.

Would I buy this book? Great story but looks like the story continues into book two so be prepared to want the next one .....because that ending .....will leave you wanting it.

This book started strong but as it went on and more characters were introduced I started to lose interest. We started with the plot of a missing vampire which was a good solid plot but I feel that it was forgotten about shortly after Mace and Cora left the city. After that there was so much going on with her blood, the bond, other vampires that I just keep wondering what was going on.

I think the concept of this was interesting. But it needs to be fleshed out a bit more before it can be successful, at least for me.

This is a paranormal suspense romance occurring in an alternate future where vampires openly exist. This is the first book in the series and ends in a cliff hanger.
Our h - Coraline Conwell was orphaned at the age of ten and barely survived on the Vampire War torn streets. She marries wealthy Winston Gordon and feels she has left her desperate life behind her. But Winston isn't the man she thinks he is; he's under investigation for selling black market vampire blood. Mason, our H; is the Vampire Enforcement Agency investigator assigned to Cora and Winston.
The book has a great start, jumps right into the action and drama, but then slows down. It needs some editing to correct this as well as some misused words. If you are going to drink a potion, it comes in a vial, not in a vile; although it could taste that way! Also, Cora may consign herself to feeling a certain way, but if she cosigns - it is for a loan! I don't mind a few typos, but I expect more from a published author. The story is interesting, but has so many unanswered questions in this book it impacts on the flow of the story. Perhaps they are fulfilled in future books? I did like the characters, even if Cora seemed a little weak initially, but it fits her character development. I don't like cliffhangers, but I do need to find out what happened!

An excellent paranormal romance with a good set of characters. Solid writing and dialogue. REally enjoyed it

So hot! A woman on the run from those that have killed her husband and are after her. She’s under the protection of vampires that had been watching her husband for suspicion of him selling vampire blood on the black market. As they dodge attack after attack, her and her bodyguard discover more about her and her background.
There are some super hot panty-melting scenes and tons of mystery to keep you hooked and wanting more. It does end on a cliffhanger so be forewarned. I’m dying to know what happens next so of course I’m going to read it ASAP.

This book started off great, I was intrigued by the world our characters inhabit, its a world where vampires are out in the open and have their own law agency.  Cora was a weak character for me, but if I were ever to find myself enduring what she endured, then I'm sure I would have deep issues myself. The vampires are dark and mysterious, like all vampire characters, but they are well written, and I want to know more about them. 

My issue is the ending, its a cliff hanger, I hate cliffhangers. I like to have some resolution in the story rather than waiting to find out what's going on, I know its a series and the author wants to keep people hooked but a cliff hanger is frustrating for the reader. 

I liked the story set up so I'm going to stick with this series, but I hope there isn't another cliffhanger.

Wicked Hunger by Kiersten Fay is a fantastic paranormal romance! It was a page turner that kept me on the edge of my seat. I am voluntarily leaving my honest review after reading this arc.

So good! I just recently came to know ms. Fay's books and was lucky enough to get this book. I really enjoyed it! I love paranormal. The story was fast paced and entertaining. The h and h are great! Very interesting and likeable. This was so much fun to read. I can't wait to read more by this Author.

This book will leave you with more questions than answers. Coraline has been brought up on the streets and has first hand experience how tough vampires can be. The violent death of her husband will throw her into the world of being blood bonded to 2 vampires. What is special about her blood. There is more revealed in Coraline’s journey but you will have to wait as our story has a cliff hanger.

This was definitely a steamy book, and probably not one I should have been reading on my lunch break at work. I actually had to put it down a few times because I was nervous one of my co-workers would read it over my shoulder. I'm not overly familiar with the main world/story line for this universe, but it's not really necessary for this one. The plot was interesting, though there were a few rough spot. But overall it was an enjoyable read.

This seemed slow going, but interesting. Cora is a surviving human in a vampires world. She has been dealt a very bad hand. Mace is part of the vampire police agency and has been following Cora around. Cora seems meek and non social and she is. It is your typical heroine. I get very frustrated with this character! I want more from her! More something!! Mace sounds sexy and is your typical male character. He is treading lightly because of Cora's past and seems genuinely interested. Cora is stubborn and sees bad every which way she turns. This is good and with Knox now involved makes me wonder how he really comes into play. What is he really hiding and how much of a facade is he putting on towards Cora? He may just be mean! I have already download the next book....ahhhh!!! They hooked me!

I haven't read a vampire story in a while and this book reminded me just how much I enjoy them, especially when they are well written. This is a fast-paced, engaging novel, filled with action, drama, and of course romance. It had everything I enjoy in the paranormal romance genre and I look forward to reading more from this author.

I enjoyed the romance, action, and plot of this book! I thought the relationships developed naturally and it was such a fun and enjoyable read! I think A Wicked Hunger did a good job of creating a world of paranormal creatures that one could get lost in. The writing was also extremely good and that made reading it so much better

Wow just wow!!! A page Turner. I was taken on a journey with this book I soon will not forget. I need more!

A Wicked Hunger started a little slow for me, but that changed and I did get into the book.

Overall a good read, not sure about the ending cliffhanger. It was a sexy book filled with vampires, ghosts, witches, and magic. It really was a well written story, that left me wanting more.

Having read another novel in this series, I was quick to volunteer to read this one. At first I was mesmerized but as I continued reading I quickly lost interest in the plot. Kiersten Fay is an awesome author but this particular book just wasn't for me.

I was drawn into this story very quickly. I wasn't sure what I was getting myself into, but I was very pleased. The world was very easy to understand and an explanation on how things were was described very organically. I loved the interactions between Mace and Cora and again their relationship was very organic and natural. My one big issue I had was the ending and the fact there wasn't a big climax and resolution at the end. It just, ended. It seemed like there were too many side stories going on, that the main issue was lost in the mix and so the ending was very blah to me.

I absolutely loved the growth of Cora from a very timid scared human, to something more. Mace was also a great character and I loved how he treated Cora.

Cora is in over her head. She find out her husband is a cheat vampire blood smuggler and wanted dead in the same day. Mace a sexy and charming vampire comes to her rescue. Their passion grows as they are chased by figures unknown. In the midst Cora learns about her past and her love for Mace is threatened by one he owes a debt to. This is only part one so beware.
