Stop what you’re doing & add this book to your to be read list! If you haven’t read the first (Bromance Book Club), get on that one now. Then make sure you preorder the next. I can’t get enough of these books!

This story follows a “romantic suspense” plot that lines up with the guys’ Bromance book club. We met Liv & Mack in the first book & now it’s their turn to take center stage. Holy banter!!! Their hate-to-love relationship was off the charts steam! I could read their witty banter back & forth all day. As much as they fought, you knew there’d be fireworks once they eventually succumbed to their desires.

The underlying story definitely needs some warning, since it addresses sexual harassment & abuse. I feel that the author shed serious light on a subject that definitely needs more attention. Her voice, especially transcribed through Mack & the guys, & the sexist treatment of women was inspiring. I hope more men (& women) speak up for the injustices that are still going on, unfortunately.

This was a five star read for so many reasons! It packs all the humor, heart, suspense, & swoons! I hope there’s more to come in this fictional world because I’m not quite ready to close the chapter on this book club.
