Just WOW! I’m a huge Lisa Gardiner fan and she just keeps getting better and better!! By far my favorite book of 2019. I absolutely loved this psychological thriller and literally could not put it down!! Each character was perfectly developed and I felt like I was right there in all the drama and action. My heart ached for some characters and some got my blood boiling. And the strong female characters I cheered on and on.
Gardner weaves a thrilling and unpredictable dark tale spun with twists and turns that kept me on the edge of the seat and guessing.
Lovely combination of intense human emotion.
I would give this book 100 stars if I could!
Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this book.
Highly recommend!

You can’t ask for more than Lisa Gardner gives her readers in When You See Me. Plot, characters, setting, edge of the seat action, and strong strong women are all done to perfection. I devoured this book and although I can’t believe it’s the first of her books I’ve read I’m now a devoted fan!

Another amazing Lisa Gardner. I devoured this book in 2 days even though I wanted to savor it! I don't want to say too much but this one had me hooked from the start and guessing right to the end. I also loved seeing all the past characters in one book. That could have been a disaster but Ms.Gardner definitely pulled it off. Flora is one of my favourite characters and it was refreshing to see her looking at life more positively in this book. Always rooting for her!
Definitely an awesome read, I would highly recommend it!

A page turner! Exciting, fast paced and multi dimensional. A must read.
If you enjoy SVU, you will love Lisa Gardner’s latest book, When you see me. While the story includes familiar characters, it reads as a stand alone story. , The twisted, psychological thriller will leave you guessing and working through evidence with Detective DD Warren and an array of detectives, policy officers, civilians and victims. An amazing story that will give you chills and leave you asking for more. 5 stars.

I would like to thank Netgalley and the publisher for the advance copy in exchange for an honest review. I have always been a fan of Lisa Gardner's books and impatiently await for a new one each time one comes out, so when I saw that this book would be combining not only D.D., Kimberley and Flora, I knew I had to read it, without even knowing the premise! Lisa seamlessly weaves all three of their story lines into one while also introducing a character with no name who you can't help but root for. When all three women invade a small mountain town and the bodies start piling up, will they be able to solve the crime before it's too late... a fast paced read that you will definitely want to sink your teeth into.

A special FBI task force has been assembled when a body is discovered by a hiker. The killer may be the victim of dead serial killer Jacob Ness. FBI agent Special Agent Kimberly Quincy and Sergeant Detective DD Warren lead this investigation in a small Georgia town that is hiding secrets. More bodies appear and everyone is a suspect.

Another winner by Lisa Gardner. Flora Dane is one of my favorite characters and I am happy to see her included in D.D. and Kimberley's investigations. In this outing, skeletal remains are found by hikers in the Georgia mountains. A task force is formed thinking there may be a link to Flora's dead captor. What they find is a small mountain town that has even darker secrets.

I devoured this book in one day! I have read every D.D. Warren book that Lisa Gardner has written, (most more than once!) and it is amazing how she can still write an evolving character that keeps growing and doesn't get stale. I love that she has included Flora and her man person Keith to their rag tag team and she writes it in a way that is believable. I also loved the humor in this book. There was a lot of snarkiness and asides in their thoughts that made a book about a serial killer surprisingly funny, which is a hard thing to do! This ranks up there on my top 3 favorite D.D. Warren books, I can't wait to read the next one!!

When You See Me by Lisa Gardner is an exciting book. Once I started it I found it hard to put down. I was familiar with most of the main characters in the story and enjoyed reading more about their next adventure. It was nice to see the relaltionship between Flora and Keith develop into something meaningful. D.D. Warren will also have a major change in her life. All is good at the end of the book for the main characters and all is bad for the Bad Man and his gang.

Gardner at her best. Brilliant and heartbreaking plot with the usual nail-biting action and peppered with sweet moments. If you’re a fan of thrillers do yourself a favor and read this book.

Lisa Gardner always delivers with her DD Warren series, and When You See Me is no exception. When skeletal remains are found in the North Georgia mountains, a possible connection to Jacob Ness, deceased predator, brings DD, Flora and Keith, among with FBI agent Kimberly Quincy, to Niche, Georgia. As more remains are discovered and the whole little town seems to be holding back horrible secrets, DD and team do what they do best - seek unconventional methods - to uncover the truth.
I rarely tend to think thriller/police procedural writers can sustain a series with evolving plots, well developed characters, AND a surprising story with each new book, but Gardner does it all deftly and with such talent. I look forward to the next in the stories. Five stars.

I received this as an advance readers copy, but all opinions are my own.

When You See Me by Lisa Gardner. Another winner for Ms Gardner. Really liking the "team" of Kimberly, D,D., Flora and Keith. Really vile criminals and horrific crimes in this story. Very highly recommend.

Thank you to the publisher, author, and NetGalley for the opportunity to preview the book.

Sergeant D.D. Warren is back and she’s teamed up with FBI agent Kimberly Quincy to try to parse out the details left behind by the now dead serial killer, Jacob Ness. Hoping to tie up cold cases and provide answers to the families of missing loved ones, the women are led to Georgia hill country. They bring in Flora Dane and Keith Edgar to investigate a small town that seems deeply off somehow. The team will soon discover that they had only touched the tip of the iceberg regarding the evil that Ness invoked. Gardner writes some of the best, most realistic female crime solving characters in the industry, and bringing D.D. Flora and Kimberly together in this story will have fans chomping at the bit for her newest, and best, thriller
