I've really enjoyed the Accidental Love series and this was a great way to end it. I wouldn't say this was a light read because there were some seriously heavy topics covered, but I read it in one sitting and couldn't put it down! That feels like a trend for me and these books!

I think what struck me most about this book was the format. It wasn't just dual POV, but there were three (Rachel, Mike, and Raegan) plus the letters from past Rachel. There was so much emotion, but rather than getting muddled down by so many perspectives, it really enhanced the story! I loved it, and those three so much!

Also, holy shit her mother is the worst human being. I cannot get over how horribly toxic, manipulative, and abusive she is. Content warnings for that as well as sexual assault.

All in all, I really enjoyed this book and I'm sad it took me so long to read it. I think it's time to revisit the other series by this author!

I really enjoyed previous books in the series, but this one didn’t work for me. I guess it started with the title because the secrets are pretty obvious from the start, so there weren't as many twists for me. I kind of knew what to expect and the topic felt repetitive. There was a lot of filling the reader in, in terms of back story and character relationships, so while I wanted to connect with the characters I felt like I had to be told so much just to go along with the main focus and problem.

Accidental Secrets was a sweet read!

I had never read any of Dana Mason's books before this one but I was drawn to the interesting premise and the second-chance romance aspect. This isn't a trope I normally gravitate towards but it seemed like it had tons of potential so I wanted to give it a shot. In the end, I did enjoy it and am interested in reading more from this author.

Accidental Secrets was chock full of drama.

The storyline was the driving force in this novel. I enjoyed the reconnection between childhood sweethearts and they could finally share this piece of their lives, their little family, together after so long. It was so sweet and made my heart very happy. It's definitely an impactful story that'll leave an emotional mark but it's told so beautifully.

Sweet, cute, and full of drama, this second-chance romance bridges fun and drama into one enjoyable read!

Overall, I liked Accidental Secrets and am giving it 4 stars. I would recommend it to fans of second-chance romance. This is a wonderfully sweet story that'll leave a smile on any face as a result of all its heartwarming goodness!

I recieved a free copy from netgalley in exchange for an honest review. Accidental secrets was enjoyable. Rachel got pregnant at 16 but her mother forced her to move away to live with her father in another state. Worse Rachel was threatened to not tell Mike the father about their baby. The book is told through the perspectives of Rachel, Mike, and Reagan their daughter. Overall I liked Reagan but it was really mike's sweetness and forgiveness that was touching. Rachel was very bland and one dimensional. I didn't care about her at all. I dis like the book and would check out those author again.

I chose to read Accidental Secrets because I am a sucker for surprise babies and second chance romances. In this story the baby is a teenager and the romance between her parents doesn’t kick in for some time.

This is a multi-level relationship driven story where the majority of the characters have a dramatic past. Rachel’s background though, takes the cake. Her mother was a nasty piece of work and separated Rachel from Michael the moment she suspected Rachel was pregnant. Poor Michael has no idea. Rachel gets through the trauma and pressure of being a single teenage mother by writing endless letters to Michael that she has no way of delivering them to him.

The letters are shared periodically throughout the story, illustrating the pain and loneliness she experienced. While I enjoy the occasional text message exchange, I tired quickly of these letters. It slowed the pace down and told a great deal of the past rather than showing it.

I found the characters, bar one, all to be strong and entertaining. Reagan came across a lot wiser than her 13 years but that only became evident during scenes that included highly emotive and disturbing content. Especially when the View Spoiler » was being discussed.

While I struggled with the storytelling, I was drawn to the characters and their journeys. The ending was lovely and enough to make me consider giving this author another try!

2.5+ stars

I really enjoyed the story of Mike and Rachel. High school sweethearts until Rachel finds herself pregnant. Rachel is forced to move away by her mother, without telling Mike.
Fast-forward 14 years. Rachel and Mike meet again and share a steamy night together. Mike doesn't want to let her get away again, but both know that she is hiding something, but only one knows what that something is and how big it really is.
I don't usually like stories written in the first person, but this was definitely an exception. Told from alternating POV's, this is a must read.
Thank you Dana Mason, Bookouture and NetGalley for allowing me this advance copy in exchange for my honest feedback.

This is the first book that I’ve read by Dana Mason. I don’t know why but I went into this book not expecting a lot, but boy did it exceed expectations. Many times I am not impressed with the way an author handles someone not telling their significant other that they have accidentally gotten pregnant. I thought the way that it was handled here and the reasons for such a long time before the secret finally came out was done very Well and was different from any other book I’ve previously read. I enjoyed this book enough that I can’t wait to go back and read the first one in the series. Looking so forward to it.

I enjoyed the “saga” of Mike and Rachel. I thought the set-up was interesting, the characters were real, and the situations were natural. The occupations of the two main characters added to the uniqueness of their story. Without giving anything away, their separation and reunion several years later were facilitated by an important person (which also made it unique). The third of a trilogy, this book can be read as a standalone, but you might understand the dynamics better if you read the first two. After reading Accidental Lies which is the second book in the series. I couldn’t wait to sink my teeth into this beauty. Once again the author doesn’t disappoint…I absolutely freaking loved this book.

Even though this book is a series it is actually a standalone story so dont be put off thinking you need to read the other books because you don’t .

The story is told in alternate chapters between Rachel and Mike and we follow a story that is exactly what the title says it is….. Accidental Secrets. Without giving to much away the reader learns that Rachel has kept something from Mike since they were teenage lovers. The author takes the reader on a rollercoaster ride has the story unfolds and the plot thickens.

I loved Rachel and Mike….there is plenty of character build up has learn about them throughout the story. I couldn’t help but warm to them and my heart totally went out to Rachel.

Yes this is a steamy romance but there isn’t to many sexy scences. This book is all about the plot. It is an extremely addictive read with plenty of twists and turns which will make you smile and also pull at heart strings.

What more can I say but I LOVED IT! This is one of those books that you need to read for yourself to see what I mean. You definitely won’t be disappointed I cannot recommend it enough giving it all the stars.

Thank you to Noelle and Kim at Bookouture for inviting me to take part in this fab tour.

Rachel and Mike were in love in high school. But when Rachel got pregnant, her mom forced her to move to Sacramento and keep the baby as a secret.
Now, fourteen years after, she hasn't forgotten Mike. And Raegan, their daughter insists on knowing the truth about her dad. Buy how can Rachel be honest with her if she never told Mike the truth??
The story is OK. It's full of secrets, lies and a very mean mom 👿.
It is very easy to read and it will leave you with a smile on you face.

I had super high expectations of the latest book from Dana Mason having LOVED the previous one. Good news: it is just as good as the last one, yay!
As I stated in my review of Accidental Lies, I had judged that book by its cover and thought that the plot would be shallow and physical. Once again, this was completely wrong.
Fourteen years ago Rachel and Mike were devoted to each other, planning college together and a future in each other’s arms. But then Rachel became pregnant and her toxic mother threatened to destroy Mike’s life with lies. To protect the boy she loved and her unborn child, Rachel agreed to leave without speaking to him again.
In the present day, Raegan is desperate to discover the truth about her father. She searches through her mother’s belongings and finds a name then uses Google and social media to locate him in their own home town.
In the meantime, Rachel and Mike meet unexpectedly and the attraction is still instant, their love rekindled. Have too many years and secrets destroyed their potential for happiness…?
The narrative is split between the three perspectives of Rachel, Raegan and Mike. This allows us to gain insight into their actions and develop a personal association with each character.
The path to true love is often bumpy and Rachel and MIke’s relationship has certainly had its problems. Drama, romance and triumph against adversity are all wrapped up in Accidental Secrets, steamy but with a solid centre of love radiating throughout.

This is my first book by this author and I definitely enjoyed it. I thought it was written well and that the story had a nice flow. The characters had great chemistry and the romance was a much needed part of an otherwise slightly sad/depressing story. I mean, what family isn't a little depressing at times? The story was very well crafted with true to life situations that kept me captivated from beginning to end. There were a lot of laughs and some heartstring pulling but, in the end, Accidental Secrets was about forgiveness and unconditional love.

Mike got a text from someone saying “ I think you may be my dad.” He thought it was a prank and replied with “ I don’t have any kids.” The other person replied “You dated my mom in HS.” Mike thought of the girls he date dn HS. One specific face came to mind Rachel Williams. The girl he lost his virginity too , and the only girl capable of breaking his heart. Mike thinks about the last time he had seen her, they’de been at the park. Than she just stopped coming to school and disappeared. After weeks of not seeing her he went to her house and pounded on the door until her mother finally answered and said Rachel had moved to Boston to attend a private school. He thought of the funk he started his Senior year in. Working out. That was the summer he became obsessed with running and working out. Physical exertion was the only way he could clear his mind and he’d been addicted ever since. Eventually he started dating again he still thought about rachael often. Reagan hadn’t expected mike to ask her moms name . Rachel found out Mike was in Sacramento that him and his two partners had opened up Crossfit gyms. No one had ever made Rachel feel the way Mike did. Mike and Gavin =with their third partner was preparing to open another gym. Reagan came up to him when he was working on the gym to prepare it for its Grand Opening in three weeks. She started talking to him than she asked if she could help paint. When she left she said she would be back. Eight years ago the Ander-Radcliffe Hotel Group had hired Rachel as an assistant wedding planner. A year later the wedding planner retired and Rachel was promoted to full time planner. She loved her job but than five years ago she was offered the hotel manager position. She got to pick her successor for wedding planner. Isal was now the wedding planner and one of Rachel's best friends. At times she helped Isla.
I loved this book. It was a great romantic read with quite a bit of drama. I love the relationship between Reagan and her mother Rachael. I loved Rachel and Mike together and how they interacted. I love dhow Mike took to Reagan. I absolutely hated reagan’s mother especially at the end. This book had a great ending. I loved the pace and plot. I loved the characters and the ins and outs of this book and I highly recommend it.

Loved this, much more complex and intricate story than I was expecting and a good cast of characters, I was really rooting for the female lead to find her happiness and will definitely read the other 'Accidental' series now.

Accidental Secrets is an emotional contemporary romance about a woman keeping a secret for her first love. It gave me so many feels as I was reading.

The story follows Rachel, Mike, and Raegan. In the beginning, we see how Rachel and Mike fall in love at a very young age. They are already fantasizing about their future plans when one decision changes everything.

The story picks up fourteen years later. Now, we get to read from the perspective of her daughter Reagan. She is wanting to meet her father and begins taking the steps to find him.

I loved reading this story because it was so vulnerable. Rachel was afraid of Mike's reaction, Reagan wondered if her father would reject her, and Mike didn't want to make the wrong decision that could make him lose everything all over again.

Dana Mason did a great job of creating a story with depth and vulnerability.

I give Accidental Secrets 4.5 stars. It's a great contemporary romance about true love, family, and having a voice!!

I thoroughly enjoyed Accidental Secrets by Dana Mason. It is a steamy romance with a ton of excitement, emotion and energy. This is the third book from the author's Accidental Love series and it can be savored as a standalone.

Rachel and Mike were good friends before they became lovers. They were madly in love during high school and spent every free moment together. Then one day Rachel disappeared. Mike had no idea what happened to her and he mourned her absence like a death. Rachel's mom whisked her away to her father's home in California, where she could be kept under lock and key while she raised her infant daughter. Scared and so alone, Rachel obeyed her mother's strict orders and never reached out to Mike or anyone else from her hometown in Portland, Oregon. Now it is thirteen years later and Rachel is the manager of a small hotel in Sacramento. She never stopped loving Mike and has always regretted not telling him about their daughter Raegan. Mike and his two partners are opening up their third Crossfit box in Sacramento. Coincidentally, Raegan has figured out who her father is and wants to learn everything about him.

This is a well-conceived romance with an engaging plot and nicely-defined characters. I found Rachel and Mike to be intelligent and real, and I admired how Mike handled his new normal. Due to great descriptive writing, I was able to engross myself in Rachel's heartbreaking life, her mother's antagonistic nastiness, and Mike's ability to forgive. Rachel and Mike are a hot couple and their sexy encounters left me breathless. Overall, this is a captivating novel that twists and turns in all the right places.
