This is a concise guide to Learning and Development principles and techniques. It belongs on any Human Resource Professional's bookshelf. The writing is conversational, the layout easy to navigate, and the material easy to comprehend. I read this on Kindle, and I missed the charts and graphs - too small to be read easily.

This is perfect for those studying either an HR qualification with L&D modules or a specific L&D qualification to use as a reference to complement in class learning. It is also useful to those new to a L&D role as it sets out what is expected of an L&D role and how to meet those expectations and how it fits in with the wider ethos of HR and the workplace in general.

This is an incredible resource. I have worked in Learning and Development for a number of years and recently have taken on new role in Learning Design. Reviewing this book has come at a great time, as I've been able to use it may times as I navigate my new role. It's well structured and the concepts and explained thoroughly and with clear language. I'd recommend this on any L&D professionals bookshelf as a good to resource to refresh on previously learned concepts and also upgrade your knowledge, and put it into practice while you are on the job. Thank you Netgalley and Kogan Page for the opportunity to review this great book.
