Huh. This was a NetGalley ARC that I gave a chance but ended up DNFing. I don’t remember what didn’t work for me at this point, but I do remember quitting before even reaching page 50. Thank you to the publisher for providing me a copy.

I’m not sure how I feel about this one still. I liked it while I was reading it but I found it very forgettable. I did really like the characters and the story line.

Super creepy and suspenseful! This book kept me at the edge of my seat the whole time! It is such a short book that I finished it in 2 days. It is just one of those books that you have to know the end ASAP! I will definitely be reading more from this author!

4.5 stars

This was so close to a 5-star read for me! I loved the twists and the dark and creepy tone. I was sure there was no way that Tudor was going to be able to tie up loose ends and solve the mysteries, but at the end of the book, I was satisfied with the results. My only complaint was that there was a supernatural element that just felt unnecessary to the story. It never really solved anything (in fact, it just raised more questions for me). I think the book would have been more successful relying on the thriller aspect alone versus adding in the supernatural stuff.

I've never read anything else by Tudor, but I'm excited to check out her other books. This book was an easy read in terms of length but it definitely kept me intrigued every single chapter. And she's certainly not afraid to get daaark - which I like in a writer!

Driving along the interstate trying to get home one night a man sees his daughter in the back seat of a car, being driven by a unknown person. He chases, but loses them. Then he gets home to find out that his wife and daughter are dead. So who was that in the car he followed? Add in a connection to the Dark Web and The Other People and you have a great mystery thriller to read.

C.J.Tudor brings a great mystery to you each time she completes a book, and this one was no exception.

Another formulaic thriller that just bored me to tears. How do people not see the plot coming from a mile away? Maybe I just read too many of these...

eGalley provided by NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Driving home one night, stuck behind a rusty old car, Gabe sees a little girl’s face appear in its rear window. She mouths one word: Daddy. It’s his five-year-old daughter, Izzy. He never sees her again.

Three years later, Gabe spends his days and nights traveling up and down the highway, searching for the car that took his daughter, refusing to give up hope, even though most people believe she’s dead.

When the car that he saw escape with his little girl is found abandoned with a body inside, Gabe must confront not just the day Izzy disappeared but the painful events from his past now dredged to the surface.

This book was nearly impossible to put down. Greg's journey searching for his daughter and delving into the world of the dark web, is heartwrenching and terrifying. He runs parallel to Fran who is mere steps ahead of Greg's search, just out of reach. A very enjoyable book, the suspense is worth it.

Hands down Tutor's best book in my opinion! An absolute thrill ride that kept my mind in high gear for the entire read. There were no moments of slow burn in this book for me.
I can't recommend this book enough! I must admit I have read this author's last two books and I liked them but I wasn't jumping up and down yelling I LOVE THIS BOOK...Yet.......I am with this one...5 stars from start to finish!

Another intense C.J. Tudor home run. The Other People is a thrill ride with twists and turns galore. I always enjoy Tudor’s books for their intricate plotting and well-considered characters. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a thriller with just a touch of the supernatural!

Not my favorite CJ Tudor book, but still a very enjoyable read. As always, Tudor reminds me of early-career Stephen King, which is a good thing.

I don't know why I keep reading Tudor books. I guess I keep hoping the next one will be better. But I was not a fan of THE CHALK MAN and I am not a fan of this. I feel like she borrows heavily from other authors and, quite frankly, I do not like that. Try to be original!

This novel is a dark and atmospheric psychological thriller about a missing girl and her father who won't give up hope of finding her. I love the combination of three separate points of view that are all come together later in the book. There is also a supernatural element to this book as is Ms.Tudor’s signature style but the fast-pacing thrilling element is what made me stick around. It is relevant to the story and enhances the “thriller tension” that I love. Looking forward to C.J Tudor other novels.

I am sorry for not reviewing fully but I don’t have the time to read this at the moment. I believe that it wouldn't benefit you as a publisher or your book if I only skimmed it and wrote a rushed review. Again, I am sorry for not fully reviewing!

I loved this book. It was recommended to me by a friend who also gave it 5 stars. This was a truly different plot than most of the thrillers out there today and I really enjoyed it. I will definitely Italy be checking out this author’s other books. I already purchased them and will hopefully be reading them soon.

A mind-bending thriller from C.J. Tudor that not only packs plenty of thrills throughout the pages, but examines the depths of grief. A gripping novel that will have you flipping through the pages long into the night and another homerun from Tudor.
