Loved, loved, loved!! Great addition to an already amazing series!! I love the 7 take on the Dark Protectors and I really enjoyed Quade and Haven's story. Especially with all the build up from prior books. This book picks up where the last on left off. Haven and Quade finally are together and their relationship blooms from there. Of course Quade is your overbearing, sexy alpha and Haven is a strong female characters. Tons of drama, violence, romance and steaminess!! Definitely recommend.

I thoroughly enjoyed the latest book in the Dark Protector series by one of my favorite authors, Rebecca Zanetti. Quade is one of the 7 who have sworn to keep Ulric from coming into the world to destroy it. Quade spends thousands of years in a hell to become the ultimate warrior believing that was his fate until he meets Haven, his fae-demon mate. She saves him and wants to help him save the world from Ulric. Lots of paranormal action, suspense, humor, and romance make this a great read!

The next dose of sexy hot vampire has arrived! The Dark Protectors saga is faithfully perpetuated by its creator in book 11. Hero’s Haven had so much danger, action, and romance that I finished it in less than 24 hours!

To recap, Quade Kayrs is a vampire/demon member of The Seven who has been trapped in an alternate world for a thousand years while he has been fighting to keep a powerful enemy, Ulric of the Kurjan Cyst, from returning to Earth. Due to catastrophic events in Book 7, the alternate worlds are collapsing and Quade is prepared to perish inside his otherworldly prison.

Throughout his exile he has had visions of a beautiful, but curiously dressed, angel appear to him in his hell world. When Haven finally grabs his hand and tells him to “go!”, what has he got to lose? Landing back on Earth, Quade and Haven finally realize that the other is more than a recurrent dream and feel an instant attraction towards each other.

There’s a lot at stake while they figure out important stuff: Haven’s nonhuman heritage, rejoining the rest of The Seven, evading the humans, Kurjans, and other enemies stalking them, and what to do about the Kayrs mating mark that appeared on Quade’s palm when he touched Haven. To complicate things, it has become dangerous for Haven to fall asleep because Ulric is trying to manipulate her in her dreamworld.

This is all very exciting, which explains how quickly I needed to read it. Members of the Kayrs royal family are involved. Especially intriguing are the scenes with Hope Kayrs Kyllwood (The Lock, the Prophet, demon crown princess, vampire princess, secret friend to a Kurjan prince, dreamworld navigator, and all-around adorable seven year old schemer). I really loved all of it!

There is one small caveat, which is due to my history as a Zanetti fan who has read all of her Dark Protector books multiple times. Since Quade and Haven were introduced in earlier books I was really looking forward to Hero’s Haven with high expectations. Quade and Haven reminded me of my favourite couple, Jase and Brenna in Shadowed, a hero tortured for ten years and the little witch who had a childhood crush on him. Well, Quade has been tortured for a THOUSAND years and Haven has been mysteriously painting him from her dreams. So, I was ready for a collision of unbridled desire! But then one was “I must honour my vow, I must sacrifice my life” and the other was “I won’t belong to anyone, I don’t do forever” and it seemed like I myself, the reader, was the only one with the angsty need for them get on with the mating. Such orchestrated frustration! Argh, you got me Rebecca Zanetti! Got me hooked!

Man I hate when her books end they are just that good! Quade is the brother left guarding the world that holds Ulric, the ultimate evil. When Quade’s world begins to collapse a dream woman saves him and brings him home. Haven is a woman that has visions, so many that she takes medication because there has to be something wrong with her. She paints the visions! Can Quade make Haven understand that she’s not like everyone else. Can they, together, keep the ultimate evil, from becoming a reality?

I voluntarily reviewed this advanced complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley

Quade Kayrs has been visited and painted by Haven, all while she thinks she is hallucinating. When he is found and she helps to keep him safe she learns she may not need the medications she has been given to control what everyone assumed was a mental illness. She saves him. He saves her. They fall for each other but Quade is determined to fulfill his role in a mission that may result in his sacrificing his life. I love this series and this book definitely did not disappoint. There are many characters and it is a joy to read them interacting and the community growing. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Haven finds her Hero💕

Loved returning to the Realm with our Dark Protectors and finding out more about Quade and Haven. I can only imagine the frustration Quade would feel coming to this new world and experiencing everything, in our time with our current technology for the first time and trying to navigate it all while trying to fight the enemy❣️

This story is non stop action and I absolutely loved it😍 I hope we get more as I would love to see Benny find himself a mate, even after he’s proclaimed he’ll be a bachelor for the rest of his life🤪 Thank you to Netgalley, Rebecca and the publisher for my advanced copy for which I leave my honest review❤️

Just WOW! Love this series so very much and each book is just as good as the last and getting better.

I get so invested in these characters and every book you grow to love or hate them (in Ulric's case) even more than before. This book is beyond sweet and the story of Quade and Haven are painful and beautiful all at once.

I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Back to the Realm we go! Quade is finally getting out of his dimension he’s been protecting to keep Ulric locked up. His dimension is collapsing and he’s tired of fighting and ready to give up. Haven is lost in her dreams, thinking she’s finally gone crazy as everyone has told her she was. She finds Quade in his cave and somehow pulls him out in her dream. The adventure begins.
This was a great addition to the The Realm Enforcers series and we get to visit all the past players as well as The Dark Protector family.
If your new to the series I would start with Fated from Dark Protectors. The series is fun, full of action and sexy times. A wonderful PR series. The Realm is a spin-off and just as good.
I can’t wait for the next one!

I love the 7. Such a unique and intriguing continuation of the original series. Just when I am convinced I've read the best one yet...she releases another book. Quade and Haven are scary perfect couple and the path they take to realizing it is intense, sexy and brimming with action and bad guys. You can't go wrong reading work by this author. Her imagination seems boundless and she translates it into stories that you will put on your keep shelf and re read over and over.

Rebecca zanetti knows just how to do it. From the get go she crafts a world we fall into with an opening action scene and the book takes off like a lust filled, expertly designed rocket and never stops. Continuing the dark protectors series, this book details the next piece of the seven and their plight against the ultimate evil hike giving us glimpses and intertwined plots with the original Kaye's famil we all know and love. As always the sensual heat is turned up to the max, the fights are fast and fierce, and the science bending believable even to a science nerd like myself, Ms. Zanetti has been one of my most favorite authors from the moment I read Talon's book, Fated, and I've devoured everything she has written since, my only critique is that I wish there was a little bit mentioned regarding the Realm Enforcers plots when everyone is at Realm Headquarters, because it's been quite awhile since we've checked in on the wizards and I think it would help keep reader momentum alive for the spin-off series. Overall, I loved it; cover to cover it was fantastic. I can't wait to read the next release from this incredible author. Honestly I might have to reread the Dark Protectors series another one... or ten... times while I impatiently wait for the next release.

I received this book complimentary prior to release to read and give my honest feedback and opinions. I sincerely appreciate the opportunity to do so.

A big thank you to NetGalley and Kensington Publishing for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. This is part of a series. While I think it reads well as a stand alone, I have read some of the others so my judgement may be a little skewed. I truly enjoyed this book. It's fast paced with humor and romance and suspense. I liked Quade for his love of eating toothpaste, I had to laugh. Haven for her passion and stubbornness! A truly enjoyable book. 4.5 stars.

The man is just intrigued by his woman, "Quade’s nostrils flared, but he bent to do her bidding. “Way too bossy,” he muttered." Haven is in awe with her man's reactions to things, “the toothpaste was delicious. Can we acquire more of it?” He’d eaten all of it?" Quade tends to be dense at times, “no.” He nodded as if satisfied with a job well done. “Not joking. You know the truth. We shall mate tonight, then.” He's just not a subtle one, "he ate half of his sandwich in one bite. “Let’s talk about mating. Now.” Haven nearly choked on her ham sandwich. She finished chewing and swallowed." I liked this book, I loved Quade.
