I received a ARC of Hero's Haven from Netgally and the publisher for a honest review of the title.

Hero's Haven was the first book I read in the Dark Protectors series by Rebecca Zanetti. I try not to do this as I don't like not being familiar with events mentioned in previous books. But I was very interested in reading this title based on the description.

I am so glad I did read it! I could not but the books down. There is fast-paced action! There's drama! There's some seriously hot romance!! And all of it is centered around Quade and Haven who are destined to find each other against all odds.

I highly recommend this book and this series. Readers can start with Hero's Haven and not feel lost and confused. But I will tell you that you will want to read the proceeding books in the series. So you might as well start looking for them at your library or wherever you get your books. You will not be disappointed that you've started reading this series.

Hero's Haven by Rebecca Zanetti is the eleventh book in the Dark Protectors paranormal romantic suspense series but it also works as a stand-alone novel for those unwilling to commit to a series. Steamy, action packed and everything you would except for Zanetti.

Rebecca Zanetti is one of my favorite authors. she writes strong male and female characters who may not always be right but are always endearing and intriguing. Her story lines a very captivating and always leave you hungry for the next one. This book is part of a great series but as enjoyable as a standalone. I was so happy to finally read Havens story. Haven has suffered and sacrificed in his attempt to save the world. Mercy is incredibly talented artist who finds herself involved in Havens magical world. Finding each other is a miracle can they pull one more off and save the world.

I've read all of the books in this series and have really enjoyed them all. I have to be totally honest here and admit that the covers to the books aren't bad either ;).

Haven has been suffering from delusions from an early age and was accused of being possessed by her Pastor stepfather. The only thing that gives her life meaning are the paintings and drawings she is compelled to create. She stumbles across one of subjects during a dream and is astounded when she turns up in her world and vows to keep her safe. This is the first book I’ve read from Rebecca Zanetti and she certainly hits the ground running. Totally action packed and fast paced from the off. I wasn’t sure about the theme but was drawn into the Realm and its inhabitants and became engrossed in the worlds and the pull between Haven and Quade. Will look out for the next book for sure. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this story. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Hero’s Haven is a love story combined with a Sc-fi thriller. The story is complex, gripping and delightful. The characters are developed and relatable. A hero given an impossible task. Hard to say more without giving away plot points. Great read.

I love this series and this book is another fantastic addition. Fast paced action, danger and desire along with the continuance of the battle to stop Ulric returning. Totally riveting and I can't wait for the next one.

I have a special place in my kindle for Ms. Zanetti’s Dark Protector series. Anytime she announces a new book, my heart beats a little faster and I run to mark the release date on my calendar. Why, you may ask? Because Ms. Zanetti delivers every, dang, time. I’ve been dying for Quade and Haven’s book and Ms. Zanetti has been teasing us with their story in previous installments. This story about two dark and damaged souls finding each other through worlds and dimensions was everything I hoped for.

If you’ve been following the new series arc since ALPHA’S PROMISE, then you know Quade has had a rough time of it. He’s been stuck in a hellish realm for centuries (he’s an immortal half demon, half vampire…duh) and the only thing that has kept him going is Haven, the woman who appears once every few years. Haven is a gifted artist in Earth’s realm who grew up adopted into an ultra religious family who had her committed for her odd dreams and weird powers. She has been dreaming and painting Quade for years.

The chemistry between Quade and Haven was everything I needed. The banter is top notch, the sexual chemistry is even better, and I snort laughed my way through some of the situations Quade finds himself in. (I’m giggling just thinking about the toothpaste). As a bonus to the amazing dialogue and romance, I have NO idea how this plotline is going to resolve itself. Every book brings amazing new revelations and surprises.

I do think some of the secondary plots took away from all the page time I wanted for Quade and Haven. I am trying super hard to get invested in Hope’s story, but it just hasn’t happened yet. I had to force myself to not skim those sections.

Overall, I have been invested in this book since day one and I don’t see that changing anytime soon. If you haven’t read a Rebecca Zanetti book yet, get out of here! Grab one and get to reading!

Rebecca Zanetti returned to the amazing world of her Dark Protectors, the Realm spinoff series, with this fabulous book.

Omg ! Y'all ! I loved Quade and Haven so much ! They were simply amazing together. Just a bit about them. Haven. This girl was so incredibly strong. She was a survivor who had been through hell. Her sense of humor was wicked funny, She had a soft vulnerable side, and felt more than a little lost sometimes, but Quade was her true north as much as she was his. Their connection was incredibly intense and sizzling hot. Oh my Gawd. Quade had to be the most charming hero of any book that I've read. He completely endeared himself to this reader throughout the entire story. I found myself chuckling out loud again and again as this ancient invincible vampire hero fumbled his way along in the modern world. I fell completely under his spell.

As usual, Rebecca Zanetti's writing was absolutely brilliant. The storyline was multilayered and pulled in some of my all time favorite characters from past Dark Protectors and Realm books. Considering that Quade is not only a Kayrs but also an original members of The Seven determined to honor a very important vow that could put his group at odds with The Realm and his blood family. This book was very exciting and emotionally gripping, a non stop thrill ride loaded with action and steamy sexiness, and garanteed to keep you flipping the pages until the end.

I can't wait for the next one !

Hot and sizzling sexy, Hero’s Haven takes the reader on amazing paranormal romance ride.

Quade is a sexy, uber protective, alpha male. Stuck in an alternate world, for a crap ton of years, Quade has suffered a bleak and torturous existence. So, he is certainly due some happiness.

Haven has been having visions for years. Hiding from her crazy as heck adoptive parents, who want to cleanse her sinful soul, Haven has been on the run until she comes face to face with one of her impossible visions…Quade.

Rebecca Zanetti writes a great paranormal romance. The chemistry sizzles and the relationship build at a great, believable pace… And, Quade and Haven make a wonderful couple that you can’t help but get behind. There was an intensity between these two characters that just can’t be denied and with their pasts, you didn’t doubt they were meant for each other.

Eleven books in, and this series is still going strong!

I received this copy of Hero's Haven from Kensington Books - Lyrical Press. This is my honest and voluntary review.

After years of struggling, Haven Daly has finally accepted that she’s nuttier than a fruitcake. Why else would she see visions of a beautiful but tormented male every night . . . and actually believe she can talk to him, even feel his touch? But thanks to those dream journeys, she can paint images nobody else on earth can duplicate. In each brush stroke, she captures the blatant masculinity and raw desire in his eyes that promise he’s coming for her…and soon. Quade Kayrs has already suffered a lifetime of pain and torture. Completely isolated, he kept his sanity thanks to one beautiful female, a vision with kind emerald eyes. In the end, her soft voice led him out of hell. Now, naked and alone, he’s in a strange world that bears little resemblance to the one he left behind. All he knows is Haven. All he wants is Haven. His final mission? To protect her from the evil hunting them both—whether she likes it or not.
This was another great story by a great author. I really enjoyed following Haven an Quade as they wade through the danger they’ve fallen into (as well as Haven’s reality check). The story was very fast paced, making it hard to put down. I liked seeing characters from previous stories. I can’t wait for the next book in the series. I highly recommend.

I have voluntarily read and reviewed a copy of this title given to me through NetGalley. This book was just absolutely wonderful. It was just so easy to get lost in and I just couldn’t put it down. I just lost myself within this amazing story. I most definitely will read more by this author.

Hero’s Haven is the next book in the Dark Protectors by Rebecca Zanetti. The Seven, a secret and shadowy, group are in opposition to the Cyst of the Kurjans, trying to stop a madman who wants to destroy the world. At least, that’s how they see it.

And Quade has been trying to keep him contained for centuries. With Quade’s world shattered, he is flung back to Earth where he finds Haven, who definitely has her own problems in the form of an adoptive family. Quade is funny as he learns about the modern world, and quite like his brothers who have also struggled to figure things out while doing their best to act like they have it all together.

Haven is a super-rare hybrid and thanks to the mess the Seven have made with the space/time continuum, she becomes the lynchpin in a huge travel mess. At the same time, she is running from her adoptive family and a crazy shifter who believes she is his. Neither Haven nor Quade are exactly in a good place to be in a relationship. But, it is what it is. They are stuck together. Haven, like the women before her in this part of the series, shows a bit more sense than some of the previous heroines in this series.

But for all that, it’s still the children who drive me insane. Ah youth, and the utter certainty of being right, especially when actually wrong. Overall though, I liked this book and Quade and Haven. I’m hoping a lot for a certain couple to get the next book, but we’ll see.

This is a series I had not read so there was a lot of backstory I was missing. Even so I like the characters and enjoyed the story. It did a good job os standing alone.

I'm obsessed with this series and am eagerly gobbling up each installment. With each book we get closer to a big battle, but, don't worry, we're not there yet, so we get more!

This book revolves around Quade and his super duper reluctant mate, Haven. We met both these characters before, when things were looking dire and unsolvable. Things have only gotten worse from there and Haven's "insanity" has manifested in some pretty real ways. The most recent of which involves her pulling Quade into her world. The action just doesn't stop at all after that. There's just about every good guy and bad guy chasing these two while they somehow find a way to develop a relationship.

So, yeah, there is that whole fated mates business, but I enjoyed watching the tough warrior and the artsy painter find common ground and super duper sexy times. As far as larger storyline, we get more from the big bad, more from Hope, a quick check in with all our favorites in the Realm, and lots of Seven business. I wouldn't say this is the best place to join this series, but I'm sure these could survive as standalones (but why? This series is the best!). I'm looking forward to all the future installments and generations we get as we move along this large storyline.

I am biased because I love Rebecca Zanetti, but this book is so much fun. I liked the way mental illness was dealt with. I liked that both characters for different reasons had struggles. I liked that them falling in love was not a magical cure all for their issues. Haven was a cool heroine, but I really liked that Quade wasn’t brooding. It would’ve been so easy to make him dark considering his past. Instead, he’s focused. His random addiction is everything. I can’t wait for the next book.

Rebecca Zanetti does it again! This is a must-read in the Dark Protectors series. I just loved Quade! I picture this big alpha male who can’t resist downing a tube of toothpaste. I laugh just thinking about it!
It’s never a dull moment for Quade and Haven. Definitely a 5 star read!

GAHHHH!!, I legit feel like I've been waiting a lifetime for Quade's story and you better believe it was better than any expectations.

In this crazy complex interwoven world of supernaturals I can honestly say that I have learnt quickly to expect the unexpected.

Both Haven and Quade are thrown into a new world of unknowns and take off running quite literally from the get go. They both have to think quick on their feet whilst adjusting to their new reality and all the whilst fighting demon's and the ever growing chemistry between them.

I mean honestly there just isn't a dull moment here. From tooth paste eating confessions from Quade to Haven's inability to submit to his shows of dominance. I was either laughing at their crazy antics, bickering and banter. Or I was on the edge of my seat anticipating what was to come. I loved their sweet almost innocent like connection!. I devoured all those sensual moments of goodness. I laughed like crazy, became frustrated at some of their stupidity and got excited for future possibilities. Also heck yessssss for wicked side characters!.

I'm never not in love with this author and her stories and this one of course is absolutely no different. I'm excited to see what's to come and praying for a few more stories to this series!!.
