This author when I see one of her novels cross my path she can get me to stop and take a second look. I did with this one with also a third by entering into it. With a touch of humor also this one opens with Haven painting a picture also for us of luscious male we too want her to get to know if it is possible. The promises he gives says so oh boy. Quade is more than a dream with us salivating by now. But this also has a story to go with it that will give us drama and suspense that goes with the hot. Actually they are both fit for each other that when they really need too they will be there for each other but what really goes down is the allure of this one that will pull you in to the end.

Hero's Haven is Quade Kayrs’ story after so much torture, hurt and separation. I wasn’t sure after the big battle several books back if this series could retain its gripping captivating pull on me, but Rebecca Zanetti continues to make the Protectors just as compelling as ever. The world building is distinct and well done. Not sure that this could be a stand-alone. Having followed the series would enhance the enjoyment of this book is my humble opinion.

Haven Daly has so many doubts and insecurities of her own that it was surprising but still believable to see her be such a strong personality. Able to stand up to Quade because let’s face it all the Protectors can be bossy Neanderthals.

High adrenaline, action-packed with more than one world involved, this romance has plenty of steam and danger to make it a page turner from the Wow beginning to the Oh, WOW conclusion. No cliffhanger for Haven and Quade but the over all theme is not concluded with their story. May also contain triggers for some readers since this paranormal romance covers some serious issues.

An ARC of the book was given to me by the publisher through Net Galley which I voluntarily chose to read and reviewed. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Hero's Haven by Rebecca Zanetti is book 11 in the Dark Protectors Series. This is the story of Haven Daly and Quade Kayrs. I do feel this can be a standalone book if you wish to do so.
Haven is a painter who happens to see / dream of things and people that no one else knows of. Haven has even started to feel communication between a man who we learn is Quade. Quade has been in a hellish existence with the only pleasure/relief is Haven. When he is able to escape is goes to find her and protect her. This was a really good paranormal type romance that kept me turning pages. Loved it!

Haven thinks she's going insane. Her whole life, she's had dreams of mystical beings and places and now one of the people from her dreams is right in front of her. He's got to be part of her delusion, right? She's definitely lost her mind because Quade. Isn't. Real. Hahahahahaha. As the reader, her resistance to facts was hilarious! And poor Quade had to convince the female who was raised to believe she was human and mentally ill that everything she dreams really exists. There really are magical places and people and she happens to be one of them. And her dreams? She's actually jumping through portals with her mind and Ulric is drawing her to him. It's up to Quade and his brothers to not only protect her, but to put an end to Ulric, once and for all.

I've been waiting for Quade's story ever since Ronan's dimension imploded and I knew his would too. I had to read his story. I needed to know what happened to the male who had lived for so long on his own, slowly going insane, losing his identity little by little. Who would he be when he came back? Would he remember himself and those he loved? With the Seven back together again (although with a few new members to replace the ones who passed), would they finally be able to take out Ulric? ALL of my questions were answered and yet, at the end of this book, I have so many more new ones! Rebecca Zanetti has me absolutely hooked on these dark protectors and I can't wait to get my hands on the next book!

Haven Daly has visions which she has to paint in vivid colors. In her visions she meets a beaten down man. Then suddenly he's real brought back from wherever he was to face a world centuries newer than when he left to protect his people from an individual called Ulrich. Quade Kayrs, a vampire-demon hybrid, suddenly finds himself in a strange new world facing off with a tiny petite little thing who he's seen in his own visions. What is happening, how does he begin to understand what it all means, when will the world end as they know it if he does not go back to protecting his people? As all couples in Zanetti's Dark Protector series, Quade and Haven soon find they are meant to be mates, but with challenging personalities it will be interesting to see where things go. One side a modern orphan who thinks she's crazy and doesn't even begin to know her capabilities opposite a centuries old, old fashion male hybrid ready to protect his woman.

The latest addition of Zanetti's series is a delightful return to following the latest in the life of the Kayrs family, the vampires, and the other paranormal groups that highlight her series. It always feels like you are coming home to the family when the latest book appears in print. Her characters are absolutely delightful, conversation is sassy and fun, action keeps the story moving, and the continuation of her paranormal story line makes it a fine addition to her series. And now, darn, I have to wait for the next book in the Dark Protector series!

“Maybe fate had given her a present. Maybe not. Everytime she trusted in her life, it turned out wrong.”✨
.
Haven Daley has lived her entire life thinking she’s crazy. Taking journeys in her dreams, with visions of a tormented male every night. Her only comfort is painting these images she sees, knowing he’s coming for her. Quade Kayrs has lived a lifetime of pain and misery, isolated. Only keeping sane by the vision of a beautiful woman with green eyes. When he finds himself in a strange world, naked and alone, all he knows is Haven. But he has one final mission and he’s going to protect her, whether she likes it or not.✨
.
If you love:
•Dark paranormal romance
•Action packed
•Fast paced
•Steamy Scenes
•Multiple POV
Then this is the book for you!✨
.
I have been reading the Dark Protector series for years now and have enjoyed every single one. Who knew I could enjoy a romance full of vampires, demons, shifters, fairies, hybrids and other dimensions galore. But each book takes you on a journey, as the characters discover, challenge, grow and find love. This series will suck you in and leave you wanting more! And this book was no exception!✨
.
Haven was such a firecracker despite her torturous upbringing. I really enjoyed her character and watching her flourish. Quade was pure alpha. But sweet. Learning about modern times and things like toothpaste. Oh my, those two could be funny. I enjoyed the little bits of humour the author injected. I really love how these books are intertwined so you get to see so many other characters within each book. Another great read from the Dark Protector world. I really need Adare and Grace’s story- I feel like that’s going to have an enemy to lover angsty feel which I love.✨

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫
.
This is Book 11, in the Dark Protectors Series. If you haven’t read any, it’s best to start at the beginning. Plan to binge, because once you start, you won’t want to stop!✨

I would like to thank the author and netgalley for the complimentary advanced copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own. ✨

Start off this book and series is all about alpha males, sex and dominance.

The book bring homes the lost brother who was assumed dead. The Heaven feels as if she has gone crazy as she is always on the run trying to find her peace when her mind is taking her some place different.

The author way of explaining how the supernatural beings belong in the world and are able to move among humans without anyone knows the difference.

The story moves quickly sex happens early on in the story and blood guts and gore as the characters come alive finding each other and hoping to create the peace they so long for.

Thank you for Netgalley for the copy of Redecca Zanetti Hero's Haven.

This is book 11 in the Dark Protectors series and it absolutely must be read in order or you will be completely confused. This one gives us Quade Kayrs and Haven Daly. Haven has been seeing visions of a man for most of her life. And thinks she is crazy because of it. Quade has suffered for a lifetime to try to keep his people safe. He only kept his sanity because of one person-Haven. And when she pulls him out of that world, all he knows is that he must keep her safe.

I absolutely loved this installment! Quade is typical of all the Kayrs men in being completely alpha but also with a heart of gold when it comes to the people he cares about and what he believes in. Haven has been through so much, and so much of it bad. But she is this smart, loving, and strong woman and I loved everything about her! Not only is there great characters in this book but there is action and suspense along with them. The bigger story ARC is still being pushed along and this one definitely helped and left me wanting more. But I have also decided that I really need a story for Benny!! I love that crazy vampire! I loved every second of it and can't wait for more!

Another fabulous, fast paced addition to the Dark Protector series. This time it's two very tortured almost lost souls finding their way to each other and a new reality. Quade has been in the background for several books now so it was interesting to see how he coped in his own dimension but in a future he never imagined. Haven is a character it was so easy to have sympathy for but she's also resourceful and not out for anyone's pity. Together they give readers a passionate story fuelled by danger that kept me riveted to my kindle. It was wonderful to see characters from previous books make an appearance but also enticing to realise that things are still very much still in motion and I for one cannot wait for the next instalment.
This voluntary take is of a copy I requested from Netgalley and my thoughts and comments are honest and I believe fair

Quade is part of a super secret group of warriors that keep Earth protected from the evil Ulric. He has spent centuries in another realm where he has spent his long life being tortured and endured unimaginable horrors. But as a vampire-demon hybrid he kept coming back to life when he died, and so he lived a long time in the hell world he was trapped in. When his world starts to collapse around him it's Haven that helps him escape and bring him to Earth.

Haven's adoptive parents thought there was something seriously evil about her because of the visions she had and her nightmares. They treated her so badly, I really felt bad for her. But she had visions of Quade for years and never knew whether he was real or a figment of her imagination.

Quade thought he would die all alone in the realm he had been for so long, but Haven somehow comes to him and pulls him to Earth when she wakes from her nightmare. Something inside Haven pulls her to where he is and when she spots him, she believes him to be a delusion. She thinks she's crazy as hell and thinks everything that happens for a time is just in her mind until he finally convinces her of everything he's been telling her.

Of course there's more than one bad guy after them which makes it harder for his family to track him down since Quade and Haven to keep moving. But once his family did find them we see some characters from previous books which was nice. These characters all have great personalities but I especially like Hope who is one of the kids and I have a feeling she'll be quite the character as she gets older.

This book is filled with danger, action, excitement and romance. I've only read a few books in this series but I love these books. I might be reading them out of order but I will get around to reading them all at some point.

Disclosure: I was given a free ARC of this book via NetGalley but all opinions and thoughts are my own.

Quade gets his day and love. It was fun to watch Quade learn about this new world. The whole toothpaste thing was funny. I don't understand why the newest generation of Kayrs isn't behind the Seven and their family. More interesting things happen in this book. The best thing is all about Quade. Everytime I finish a book in this series I just think about it for hours. I can't wait for the next book. If you have been reading this series you will love this book. So much is happening with a lot more to come.

Haven has been painting pictures of a strange man for years... but she doesn't think he's real. You know, since she's crazy and everything (just ask her "family"). Gage has been dreaming of Haven for what seems like eons... but thinks there's no way she can be real. After all, he's responsible for holding one of the dimensions keeping their mortal enemy caged. But when his dimension fails, he's pulled off ofc danger by none other than he's dream girl, Haven. Neither can believe the other is real...ite that they deserve the happiness that each brings to the other.

I love Gage and Haven. They are prefect for each other. The storyline is interesting and fast-paced. Plus we get to visit with the other Realm members. My favorite part is Gage and his love of yummy mint toothpaste. LOL

I received a copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. My thoughts and opinions are my own and without bias or favor.

This book packed with a ton of action. I would not read this book out of order. You will not quite know what is going on. Quade is one of the Seven who has been trapped in another dimension and has been slowly going crazy. Haven has been treated awful her whole life because she is different and Quade slowly helps her realize there is more to her than she realizes. Haven has been painting the many dimensions and she has been seeing Qaude in her dreams. When she realizes it,s not dream worlds things get really wild. This was a great story building and the story is getting intense. I love seeing many of the Dark Protectors in this series show up in the books. Looking forward to the next book.

I enjoyed the Dark Protector's books (I had read up to book 7) and then received this ARC and decided to just go in since I knew about the backstory. While it COULD be read as a standalone, I wouldn't suggest it. There's a lot of stuff and knowledge that you wouldn't quite understand until further along in the story, so I just say read the previous books (even though this is a "spinoff" with mostly new characters). I liked the plot and characters. The story was action packed, full of banter, good relationship buildup as well as character buildup. I liked that both main characters were very supportive of one another.

I enjoyed Haven's character. She's a new one for me. She was strong, smart, sassy, independent, compassionate, determined, sweet, with a touch of vulnerability. I felt bad for her upbringing, but am glad she finally found a family of her own.

Quade was a good hero. He was protective, sweet, loyal, determined, and had some funny moments. I liked watching him learn the new world (technology, lingo, etc) and adapt to everything thrown his way.

All in all, this was a good read. Thank you NetGalley for this copy. This is my honest review.

Hero’s Haven by Rebecca Zanetti
Dark Protectors #11

Quade has been busy keeping a bad guy in an alternate world prison for centuries and believes he is finally going to die and never come back when he is yanked out and saved by Haven. This is their story of running for the lives, fighting to stay alive, being captured more than once and suffering often. There were brutal fights, torture, exorcism attempts, a mating, catching up with The Seven and the mates of some of them, a visit with Hope and some of her friends and a rollicking good read in the end. I did find that the fights at times felt like filler and I wondered how many times a person could be kidnapped but it is a paranormal romantic suspense that forwards the overall plot of this series sand I look forward to reading the next one when it is ready.

Thank you to NetGalley and Kensington – Lyrical Press for the ARC – This is my honest review.

My deepest apologies. I thought I had posted my review and couldn't find it anywhere. I always get my reviews in early and never want to disappoint Ms. Zanetti.

Ms. Zanetti did not disappoint at all in this next installment! I am so invested in the series and can not pass on a great series. We have Quade and Haven. Haven dream walks and rescues Quade from his dimension and brings him home. This all based on Haven and her compulsion to drive to the exact location. With Quade being gone centuries, he picks up the new world quickly. Haven doesn't know she is half demon and Quad's mating mark shows up. It takes awhile to come to terms that Haven is his and he is hers. Quade has always thought he would have to give his life to kill Ulric. He finds his other brothers happily mated and sees his future with Haven. We also see more of Hope and Drake and the impact this is having on the current friendship.

I never get tired of reading this series and always read it over and over. Many think when a series gets long, you lose out on the store lines. Book after book this series continues to grow and you never get lost. Can't wait for the next book and this is a one-click but always to support Ms Zanetti.

Quade Kayrs has spent more than a few lifetimes living and dying in pure hell. The only thing that seems to keep him going are those few moments, those glimpses of a beautiful woman invading his realm.  Haven Daly thinks she’s crazy but unique is a more appropriate way to describe her. A fiercely independent woman, an amazing artist and a girl on the run.

Driven by visions and a pull Haven and Quade start the wheels of motion on something that makes epic look small.  Through an action packed, fast paced, dangerous story Haven and Quade build a sexual tension that practically just off the pages. The banter between these two is top notch.  Their chemistry is intense as is everything else going on in the book. The depths they easily went to for one another made every bit of craziness so worth.

Hero’s Haven is a true on the edge of your seat read. Once I started, I couldn’t stop reading until I was done.  Strong characters and fabulous world building are just the start of why I enjoyed. The action scenes are spot on and engaging. And let’s just say those hot moments are definitely on fire. Ms. Zanetti kept Haven and Quade’s story moving yet nothing felt rushed or unnatural for the story. A true heart pounding, blood pumping read.

I've waited to write this review as while I enjoyed the story, it felt there was something missing to take to the next level that I just couldn't quite put my finger on. however, as time has passed and I think about this book, that something seems insignificant as what I do recall is a book filled with action from cover to cover and two characters that not only drove the book but reached out to pull me in for the ride. While we get to see a number of larger cast favorites and the current series plot progresses, there is no mistake that the heart of this book is Haven & Quade and their journey together. Both start of surrounded with a sense of hopelessness and lost despair. we are taken on a journey as they not only find each other but also, together, find hope once again and love. It is that journey (as well as the bad guys being denied) that makes this an enjoyable and entertaining read from start to finish.
