4.5 Stars

I love this world so much. I can't get enough of the Enforcers. This is Quade's story. It promised to be heart wrenching and it was. But the author also gave us a great bit of action, some humor and of course that pesky Karys mating symbol.

I loved Haven's back story. More intrigue was laid for the overarching story line. The whole gang seems to be present and ready for whatever comes next. It was great to see the Enforcers and their mates again. If I have an issue, it is with the familiarity of the story arc. The dream world, and a girl and a guy from the wrong clan, destined to save the world....... very similar to what happened with the first generation of enforcers.

Still loved the story. Can't wait to read more in their world.

Haven Daly believes she has lost her mind because she keeps dreaming about and painting portraits of a man caught in a bizarre world far from reality. An adopted daughter of a zealot pastor who spent years trying to “cure” her before she ran away, Haven has a lot of self-esteem issues as well. Haven’s dreams become reality when she rescues Quade Karys who had been trapped in a hell hole for centuries. Everything in the current time period is new to Quade including Haven’s determination not to be bossed around by a massive warrior. Quade is part of a secret group within their hidden society who has dedicated his life to destroying an enemy named Ulric who would annihilate Quade’s family and world.

Because of Haven’s ability to travel worlds in her dreams, she is in danger from Ulric who is currently trapped in another dimension as well from his nefarious enemy group. And though Haven is someone special to him, Quade is determined to only protect her resisting the inevitable force that binds them together. Haven and Quade spend quite a bit of time on the run trying to find his family and elude their multiple enemies. Who is friend and who is foe, Haven is not really sure. This world of paranormals is very different to her as well so she has a lot of adjustments to make after finding out who and what she really is which turns out to be other than human.

This story is number 11 in the Dark Protectors series so there several are others main characters from previous books and novellas participating as well. It has nonstop action, lots of chases, and many battles while the main characters trying to assimilate and figure out the lives while on the run. The romance is also squeezed in with all the high speed adventures. Fans of the series should enjoy the latest installment.

Quade a member of the seven longs for death. Instead he finds family and love. Haven has been running for years. From religious zealot adopted parents and a mysterious stranger from her childhood. Will Haven and Quade be each other's saving grace? Will Haven trust Quade with her life and her heart? You will need to read it. The book and characters will pull you in. It feels like coming home to a family reunion. This is a stand alone book that is a part of a series, Dark Protectors. Once you read one you will want to read them all. I look forward to the next book as there are many unanswered questions. Happy reading!

The newest Dark Protectors story, Hero's Haven is even more exciting and better than I could of hoped for! Sexy, thrilling, sizzling hot, this story was epic and Quade and Haven were utterly amazing and their story was FANTASTIC!

Hero's Haven was and is the best book yet in Rebecca Zanetti's Dark Protector series. Don't get me wrong, I loved each and every book in this series but Quade had a patience and fortitude and strength that I found charming and totally melted my heart. Now Quade is full on alpha for sure, but they way he was so gentle and caring with Haven showed me just how extra special he was. And Haven is extraordinary too! She is unique and beautiful and has a strength all her own that I really loved. This book was filled to the brim with heart pounding, mind blowing action and unforgettable heat that is truly irresistible. Everything about this book made me truly happy and I loved every turn of the page, from start to finish!

Hero's Haven gets a UNSTOPPABLE FIVE FANTASTIC STARS!

This thrusts us back into the Realm we love and we get glimpses of our Dark Protectors some too. I loved Quade and his love for mint, and Haven was a pleasant surprise. This story is pretty much packed with action from beginning to end and lovers of this series will be pleased to see some more plot development, even if I’m not sure who will be paired up next, please be Benny, please be Benny.

Haven’s life has never been easy,, Quade gave of all hope of ever having a mate for the greater good. These two collide in the most unusual place and they will need to band together to not only save Haven’s life but life as they know it.
Quade is a take charge kinda guy and gives orders they he expects her to follow, she is in charge of her own life and doesn’t need or want anyone telling her what’s best for her. When these two collide sparks fly. Truly and good book, one of my favorites in this series.

So I wasn't looking forward to this novella because Quade Karys and his eternity spent in an alternate dimension sacrificing himself to save the world, yawn, all the angst, yawn. But I was pleasantly surprised, this was more about Haven Daly the (apparently) human who has been drawing Quade and the other members of the Seven, plus alternate dimensions, for years.

Haven rescues Quade from the alternate dimension just when he thinks all hope is lost, but Quade's rescue brings the release of the Big Bad Ulric ever closer.

It turns out Haven isn't remotely human, she's a hitherto unknown hybrid, her adoptive parents are religious zealots who think Haven is possessed by a demon and have been hunting her for the past decade, little do they know they have hired a deranged cougar shifter to track her down.

So far and I was loving it, but then Quade defaulted to the domineering, me-right-you-wrong, alpha-hole mentality and I lost interest. Also, isn't it a rule that you can't rely on anything said in the throes of passion? You certainly can't believe a guy when he says he loves you so why should Quade extract a promise to obey him in everything by withholding orgasms?

Anyhoo, when Quade starting laying down the law, and he only wanted to mate Haven so that he could take on her powers and go and rescue the lost Fae/imprison Ulric on his own - talk about a metaphor for marriage taking power away from women! - I lost interest. Also, does it seem to anyone else that Pierce and Ulric are quite frankly more clever and more powerful that the Seven? Just putting it out there ...

Anyway, Quade hits some of my PNR buttons so this was only a three star read for me, others may well adore his manly take-charge nature. Can mad Ben be the next of the Seven to find a mate? And please for the love of all that is holy can we kill/imprison Ulric forever now?

I received a free copy of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley in return for an honest review.

Love this series!! Cannot believe this is the 11th book in this series. Zanetti is an author that keeps me so glued to my kindle that I loose sleep because of her. Quade is a member of the Seven who has been abandoned in a realm filled with darkness and torture! Haven is an artist that visits him and draws this DARK world. Together they race toward answers and romance. "A copy of this book was provided by Lyrical Press via Netgalley with no requirements for a review. Comments here are my honest opinion."

I have read this entire series and have really enjoyed it. This is Quade and Haven's story... For readers of the series, Quade is one of the Seven, the one who wants to kill Ulric. For reader's who haven't read the series I would suggest reading it from the beginning so that you can follow the timeline of the search for Ulric and the story of the Seven and the Keys.
It's a great read, lots of romance, of course, but the main plot of the series is very interesting. Readers of Fantasy would enjoy these books as well as readers of romance.
Thanks you NetGalley and the publisher for this book.

Hero’s Haven is another fast-paced, breathtaking installment in this author’s Dark Protector series. This paranormal romance is a wild ride full of action and suspense and I absolutely loved both Haven and Quade. The world that this author has created with her unique take on all of the paranormal creatures - the Kurjans, demons, vampires, and fae - is phenomenal and I like how she crafts each book with a focus on one particular couple all while keeping up with the interconnecting storylines.

In the previous books, we learn that Quade has spent thousands of years in another world to protect the realm from Ulric. The horrors that this demon-vampire hybrid has endured is shocking. Haven is a very talented artist who paints her visions and has visited Quade in her dreams. When Quade’s world implodes and he is forced back on Earth, the poor girl believes she’s hallucinating when she finally meets him face-to-face!

Quade’s character is rather endearing. He is the usual demanding, protective male that we all know and love from this author’s works, but he is also hilarious when it comes to all of his idiosyncrasies as he acclimates to being a part of the modern world. I liked Haven as a heroine as she is wildly independent, a survivor of a crazy past, and refuses to put up with Quade’s overbearing nonsense. Their connection is palpable, but being together isn't easy as there are many forces throwing obstacles in their way.

I feel like in this book, compared to the previous one, that the underlying story progressed more. We see more of the cyst and the Seven, view a bit more from Hope’s POV, and discover more about the other dimensions/dream worlds. It was fun to get reacquainted with some the members of the Realm and the Seven from the previous books. I suppose, in theory, that Hero’s Haven could be read as a standalone as it is the story of Quade and Haven, but given the interconnecting characters and the overall underlying series plot, I do recommend starting with this series earlier books.

Haven Daly and Quade Kayrs have been dreaming about each other for years, with Haven on Earth believing herself to be crazy, and Quade in his dimension trying to keep Ulric from escaping. Quade believed the end was in sight for him and he was embracing it with open arms, when Haven appeared and somehow pulled him back into the real world. The two have to go on the run together to escape the Kurjans, and eventually they find their way to the rest of Quade’s band of brothers. Slowly Haven came to realize that she is not crazy after all, and there is a perfectly logical explanation for everything.

Quade seemed to adapt really fast to being around other people after spending centuries alone and in pain and despair. I really liked Haven. She was dealing with a lot of things in her life that didn’t make sense, and an adoptive father whose main mission in life is to literally exorcise her demons.

This book brought more of the Seven together for their final mission to rid the world of Ulric. We also see more of the other characters in Realm Headquarters, and that was a lot of fun to read. I would love it if they could get their acts together and start working with each other, instead of being so secretive all the time.

The action was exciting, and the relationship between Quade and Haven built up really well. I also like the title, it works well for this story. Can’t wait to read more.

I received an advanced copy of the book from Netgalley to review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I've been anticipating this book since I finished Alpha's Promise book 10 in the Dark Protectors series where Quade and Haven were first introduced. Hero's Haven was everything I expected and more. Book 11 was like a family reunion of my favorite characters and I want more! Quade and Haven are dark and damaged but you see a light at the end of the tunnel where they might finally find love and acceptance. This is one of my all-time favorite series!

This is the first book I’ve read in this series. For information, the fact that I haven’t read any of the previous books did not detract from the story whatsoever. It did however make me wish I’d read earlier books in this series. The Realm - full of every supernatural creature you can think of I’m sure, has hybrids such as demon vampires, demon fairies, as well as shifters and amongst other things a priest wanting to perform exorcisms. The story follows Haven Daley and Quade Kayres, two beings who it would seem, have dreamt of each other, quite literally for years, and when they finally meet, sparks fly, as it seems they were made for each other. Quade though, is not used to stubborn independent women, and it’s fun watching him learn all about modern day life. Haven however is not going to let anyone boss her around, even Mr Tall, Dark and Handsome, with the alpha genes. No she’s definitely going to give him a run for his money. A story full of romance and action (not for the faint hearted, there’s quite a bit of bloodshed), and a completely addictive supernatural storyline with some pretty colourful characters. I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. This is my honest review.

Haven and Quade were everything. Quade has gone through a lot of pain, and I was happy we saw him get an HEA. I loved Haven and her fierceness. This is of my favorite series, so when I saw that I got an ARC, I may screamed a bit. The Protector series has everything I love in a book: HEA, sexy moments, and a love story so beautiful. Cant wait for more of these sexy alphas.

Haven is an artist and believes she’s crazy. She has painted a man she talks to in her dreams. She is running from her adopted parents because they think she has a demon in her and she must be saved. Quade is one of the Seven, made to protect the supernaturals. They are a secretive group and it is an extremely painful process. He has been in another world for centuries, trying to keep Ulrich, a bad demon, from returning. Apparently his world exploded and Haven has brought him to Earth. The Kayrs mating mark appears on Quade’s hand and knows Haven is his mate. He must find his brothers and figure out how to keep Ulrich in his own world. But demons and crazies want Haven and she’ll have to fight to stay one step ahead of them. Can Quade learn how to love and convince Haven to mate him? I absolutely loved this story. It has lots of action and is very funny in places. I cracked up, Quade is just too cute and sweet. Haven is talented and different but is also strong and independent. I can’t wait to read the rest in this series. * Voluntarily read and reviewed this for NetGalley *

This was at times touching and often hilarious as the hero learns to adjust to technology. I loved his reaction to his first car ride. Bravo!

Loved, loved, loved!! Great addition to an already amazing series!! I love the 7 take on the Dark Protectors and I really enjoyed Quade and Haven's story. Especially with all the build up from prior books. This book picks up where the last on left off. Haven and Quade finally are together and their relationship blooms from there. Of course Quade is your overbearing, sexy alpha and Haven is a strong female characters. Tons of drama, violence, romance and steaminess!! Definitely recommend.

I thoroughly enjoyed the latest book in the Dark Protector series by one of my favorite authors, Rebecca Zanetti. Quade is one of the 7 who have sworn to keep Ulric from coming into the world to destroy it. Quade spends thousands of years in a hell to become the ultimate warrior believing that was his fate until he meets Haven, his fae-demon mate. She saves him and wants to help him save the world from Ulric. Lots of paranormal action, suspense, humor, and romance make this a great read!
