This was a very slow burn read. Your typical girl moves to new town and meets a boy who she doesn’t get along with but then he rescues her from a situation and things start to change slowly from there. It has all the tropes and a nice set of side characters that make it really fun. Amelia at times was annoying, but overall kind of cool. It did take a while to get the romance going, but it was worth the wait.

Essa história girou mais em torno de drama e romance, me deixou interessada durante a leitura e esperando que algo fosse acontecer com todo esse suspense

I thought this was going to be a fun story with some kind of mean girl ish going on, yknow at least being somewhat funny. But my god, It is all ME ME ME . The Main character feel sorry for herself and treat people like crap. I do not understand why anybody would be around her. Aiden is just annoying popular prick. IDK. DUDE. I just hated this so much. I am aware it is a bully romance, but the characters were just boring.

I got this Earc from Netgalley.

This is one of those genre's that I shouldn't enjoy because of the toxicity that exists in bully romances, but then there are books like this one that make it understandable why this had become a guilty pleasure.
The world building was spot on. I loved the way the characters were integrated into scene's, the descriptions we are amazing. I especially love that this was a slow burn romance. Not one of those WHAM BAM automatically obsessed with you love tropes that often has me rolling my eyes at the characters
I just cannot believe how it ended. That is my only gripe about it! I need more!

this was really an enjoyable read but semi predictable. All of my assumptions came true and Ive never been a big fan of cliffhangers in romance story. While I enjoyed the young love with lots of drama story, I also found there was a bit too much fighting (which became repetitive) and the plot needed a bit more development. Overall it was enjoyable but not my favorite.

This book was really good and kept my attention from the beginning. I loved the characters and how they interacted with each other. I also loved the slow build of tensions and the ending made me go “whoa!”

Prior to reading this book, I'd heard that this was originally a Wattpad story before being traditionally published and it definitely had all of the elements I would have expected from a classic Wattpad story. This definitely brought the entertainment with the usual YA couple having to go through lots of hurdles that come with being together as well as loootssss of drama.

A new town, a new love, another chance to stay alive.

This book sucked me in from the start and left me wanting more!!
There's a kick-ass MC and a gorgeous guy with a lot of petty and cliché high school drama thrown in!!
I am a sucker for wattpad books and this is one of the best I have read!!

I loved this!!! I could not get enough of Amelia and Parker! I hope you strap in for an exciting ride because Amelia cannot resist the local bad boy. This was full of suspense and kept me wanting more. I really enjoyed it and it was a perfect teen heart throb book! I would rate this a 5 out of 5! This ARC was provided to me by Netgalley for a fair and honest review.

Amelia Collins has just started a new school and is clearly running from a dangerous past. To make things even more difficult, she literally bumps into the dangerous bad boy Aiden Parker. A sequence of events thar include bullying, really scary pranks, and illegal extracurricular activities leads Amelia to a group of friends, a boy with even more secrets than her own, and more than a handful of enemies.

I enjoyed the book because it went from kid like pranks to actual danger real quick. I wanted to keep reading until I knew what was going on. Was it my favorite? Not necessarily. For such a short book, about 328 pages, there was so much going on not only with Amelia but with Aiden and even Annalisa.

The ending hooked me though. For the lack of romance, the thriller/mystery like feeling it gave me might have me coming back for more.

Thank you to Netgalley and Wattpad Books for providing me with an eARC in exchange for an honest review.

Every once in a while, a good ol’ high school drama does well for the soul. I had quite a few structure issues but there’s no denying that there’s a market for a read in this ballpark.

I enjoyed reading several aspects of this book! The pacing was wonderful, characters were well drawn, and the reading experience on the whole was delightful.

Amelia is starting a new school . Some of the tone was a little childish. I tryed to like it but I wasn't a fan of the dialogue overall or the characters.

This was such an easy novel to fly through and it left me wanting MORE! Seriously, talk about one heck of a painful ending. I cannot wait for the next novel in this series to be published!

First off, let's talk about how this novel is one HECK of a slow burn! I love slow burn romances and this story definitely was one. It was so slow that initially, I thought I was imagining a romance that wasn't even there.

This novel seemed to be different compared to a lot of other YA/NA novels that I read. I think it actually was the first novel that I've read that includes illegal racing and surprisingly enough, I loved that part of the story. It actually reminded me of "Fast and the Furious" (in the best way).

Along with the romance, this novel really excelled at showing a strong friend group. The loyalty between them all made the friendships that much more powerful and contributed to my overall enjoyment of the story. Hey, I'm a sucker for loyal and strong friendships.

This novel was filled with problematic relationships, an unrealistic premise, and a ton of toxic masculinity.
